Truly we are a little disappointed with the way things are going at this Paolo's. Portions are getting smaller. Spaghetti dish was more like a child's portion and it was nothing special from a taste perspective. Meditteranean chicken salad is also smaller and changed in presentation. We were not thrilled with this visit and won't go back soon.

Went for Easter brunch buffet. Booked late and was glad to get reservation. It was packed with large family groups and restaurant was larger than outside appearance. Food was plentiful and very good. Waiter was very attentive with drinks and clearing plates. Carving stations of beef and ham. Beef was perfectly done and fresh ham was moist -honey and not salty. Salads were done, paolo-style - large fresh mozzarella slices, tomato, fresh basil, Caesar salad with large shavings of Parmesan cheese. Great dessert tables including dark chocolate dipping table. definitely recommend for quality of food and price. Especially liked chocolate Lindt bunnies, jelly beans and Easter candies spread throughout.

We had been to Paolo's before in years past, but hadn't been in a while. So I made reservations, and the Easter Brunch is one of the best buffet brunches around. Plenty of tasty food, you could have breakfast foods, lighter and heartier lunch foods, and a giant table full of desserts. Food was tasty and fresh, and the atmosphere was great for celebrating Easter.

Upon being seated and reviewing the menu I became disappointed. The menu (less options) and prices (higher) was not the same as online through Open Table. This made the Valentines Day dinner less enjoyable. We stayed and had the Filet Mignon. The steaks were great. I did bring my disappoint to the attention of the waitress who did not seem to care but did give us the obligated "I am sorry". Did not receive a visit from the manager so my guess is she did not bother to inform them. Will not be visiting again.

I had not been to Paolo's in many years and now I remembered why. Although the service was good, the price was ridiculous. Three people for a casual business had 3 iced teas, 2 lasagnas, one salad with shrimp (three pieces of shrimp in a full sized salad), 2 cups of bean soup and the cost with the tip was $100!!! Not worth the price at all and I will never take people there for lunch again.

I like the setting & the drinks- only reasons I come here. Food is just OK. Everytime I order an entree here, I feel like an ingredient or a seasoning is missing. Can't put my finger on it but it's not missing salt. Ate here today and the minestrone soup was the soup of the day. It was bland. The chicken in my salad was wet, tasted like it was boiled - no flavor. The free breadsticks that come with olive dip were extremely stale. What happened to this place? The pizzas are good, however, I've gotten a few burned bottoms before which ruins the pizza. Would love to see more wrap options and lighter (less pricey) fare on the menu. Food needs a overhaul.

We've been here a few times and have had a consistent experience marked by Outstanding service! We typically come here when we are going out with the children (5 and 3) and need a place where they are welcome, but where we can get something better than most chain Italian places. Paolos fits the bill beautifully. Good salads and very tasty pizzas. Pastas are OK, the kids meals are fine, and the wine list is quite good. What really sets it apart is the consistently great service. Servers are great with the kids and attentive to any needs - you never have to ask for a water refill or extra napkins for the kids. We always walk out satisfied and relaxed (which is a bit of a miracle with 2 small boys!!)

The food was outstanding as was the service. My only complaint was the fact that we chose to sit outside just outside the restaurant instead of down the stairs. The upper location was not pleasant due to a pack of teenagers riding skateboards through every 10 minutes or so and spitting on the sidewalk in front of our table. It was our choice to sit there but for an awesome restaurant, the noise was very loud and the rudeness of the teens killed my appetite.

Always enjoy Paolo's, even though it's a bit expensive. Great breadsticks and tapenade, fun spins on the familiar Italian-American dishes. Writing my review today to commend our waitress, Tracy. We had gone for the 1/2 price pastas on Sunday, and I had ordered the daily special Chef's pasta. When I brought up to Tracy that I thought it was half-price and would have ordered something else, she spoke to the manager to reduce the bill. This was an excellent customer service move on her part. She could have easily brushed me off, but didn't.

This was our 4th visit. We were promptly seated and and then waited for our server. And waited. It was almost 15 minutes before someone arrived. The hostess sat us at a table with no assigned server. A waitress who walked by us several times noticed our lack of service and became our de facto server. A drink menu was requested and delivered but the server never came back to take the drink order so we stuck with water. I had the Rigatoni w/ Italian Sausage and my wife the Spaghetti and Meatballs. Our food arrived warm, but not hot. My rigatoni was not fully cooked. My wife's spaghetti wasn't much better. The sauce and meatballs were very peppery and devoid of other flavor. With the poor food and awful service, we won't be going back

while the food was nice, the evening was nearly ruined by the din inside that requires you to shout to your dinner companion in order to be heard. plus the service was absymal. first the waiter informed us that the kitchen had run out of clean glasses and he could only provide one, rather than two glasses of water. then the wine took forever to come, plus one of the wines was undrinkable. then, after dinner came, the waiter offered to bring fresh ground pepper, but took forever to return and then raced off after only offering pepper to one of us. clearly he was stretched way too thin. but it made the evening unforgettable in the worst sort of way.

We went on a recent Sunday for dinner. The food was very good - two of us had the duck risotto, which was excellent. While the waiter was friendly, the service from him was poor. It took a long time to get attention, and our waiter was not around much. Paolo's may have been understaffed that evening, but the restaurant did not seem as busy as on other nights we've been there - maybe 80%-90% full. It's not as though we saw our waiter busy with other tables. Our appetizer came twice because our waiter did not realize that someone had already brought it to us about half an hour earlier. Service is typically better than this and the food is quite good - I point this out more for Paolo's so they can be aware of it for the future.

The food is good, but not fantastic; prices charged would make you believe the food would be better. The spaghetti sauce was very sweet (cinnamon?), and the crab cakes were not very good. We sat outside, which was beautiful - but maybe was the cause of the very slow service. At the end we were not even asked if we wanted coffee or dessert; waiter finally came by and just put check on the table.
