The highlight here is the glass box space in a pretty park on the edge of the Arts District. They do serve food and it is okay. The chicken ravioli that our server raved about was three huge pieces that were refrigerator cold in the middle. Tasted okay, and the portion sizes were fine. My dining companions' food was fine but no one felt it was exceptional. However, that's not to say that it wasn't acceptable, just not to expect too much from the food on the plate. One gets the feeling that the kitchen is too little for what they are trying to do. Go and enjoy the view, the nice space, and the good people watching, there are lots of folks from the arts district there all the time.

I recently shared an outstanding meal at Savor, but the evening was almost ruined by the extremely rude hosting staff. We made reservations and arrived early to basically an empty dining room and was told to "wait at the bar" because the dining room wasn't ready. After some excellent cocktails at the bar AND 45 minutes later we had to retrieve the staff and request a table. They were not busy with other customers. Then they tried to seat our party directly in front of the kitchen when there were plenty of tables available. Thankfully the waitstaff was on the ball and the food was fantastic. We were basically snubbed on the way out, no thank you and please return. The hosting staff needs an attitude adjustment!

Great venue - good service - however the quality of food is marginal and when you order a menu item you expect to get what has been described on the menu and not the case here - especially with Cornbread Crab Sandwich where there is no cornbread at all. Need a new chef to take over the kitchen - french fries are marginal at best - chop salad - how one messed that one up is a mystery.

Overall the experience at Savor was great. The only thing lacking was the service. Our server was rushing our order trying to get it all at once. I asked to let us order as we go but she insisted that she would not put it all in at once. Our food came too fast, although I let her know several times that we would like to enjoy each dish (appetizer/salad) by themselves, not all together. The food was great however, and I would definitely visit again.

We had a lovely evening at Savor just prior to Christmas 2013. The KWPark was festive and the all glass restaurant soaks up the outdoor magic and adds it to the spender of the food, wine and fun inside. Between the great food, the service from Amanda and the special treats from Nick it was a very memorable visit for us and our Down-under friends.

The restaurant is beautiful, the food is really good, but the service needs some help! I took a client here for lunch. The waitress apologized to us once she finally made it to our table, as we had to wait about 5 minutes before she greeted us and got our drink order...at the end, it took so long for the waitress to come back and get my credit card, my client wound up having to leave without me!!!

The lobster puffs are wonderful. Pork belly/grilled bacon too fatty. Meatballs good, but, they're just meatballs with tomoto sauce. Brussel Sprouts are interesting. Crab cakes good too. Salmon, scallops, steak & shortrib all very enjoyable. Desserts are small and quite good to share a few. The ambiance, twinkling lights in the trees, People strolling through the park. Have a drink on the patio before or after dinner. Excellent experience over all.

great overall dining experience. food was good and ambiance was great! Only complaint is that I was expecting a fabulous wine selection and it was quite small and hard to find a good red to choose. After asking if they had any other wines that were not on the menu, they did offer us two wines that were on reserve and not on the menu but even then they only had two to choose from and they were both cabs. Overall though the floor to ceiling glass windows really made the dining experience wonderful and was great for enjoying the view of the park and for people watching. Food was excellent as well.

Very Pretty, very much like a Tavern On The Green for Dallas. The service was all over the map from point A to point B, just not good for what it is and should be. The service made the food amiss. Mine was served and cold while my guest food had not arrived and the they stuck mine in a warmer where the dish was ruined. I could go on! Offer to take coats this time of year, serve the apps when appropriate, like the meatball, which were cold. Lots of missed opportunities and not a very well trained staff. Staff that have never been in service or have hade good service. Take it from Houston's or Del Frisco's Grill , it not hard or reinventing the wheel. I will say it is a pretty eatery with a great potential. Will try again in couple months

Great cocktails! We ordered 4 appetizers. The hot one (calamari) arrived first, then 2 wedges "separately" and finally the fourth over a ten minute period. Same with entrees - mine the simplest came in last. Mmmmh a pattern emerging? Ordered 2 desserts. 3 arrived two of which were ones we ordered. Noting to the server that one wasn't ours, he took all three away and so we waited.... Sad, great location but we won't be back until maybe the spring/summer and sit outside with a cocktail and snack.

Staff needs training. Cheese plate plopped down without any intro to samplings. Entree so salty it was inedible. Desserts tasted institutional. Server hovered, water refilled every two seconds. Lighted tech table in bar was cool, but made it hard to see appetizers when on brighter colors. Hostesses were chipper. Bar staff knew their stuff. Will not go back for dinner, but might try outside lounge for drinks in warmer weather.

My friends and I dine and brunch monthly. We try out new places around Dallas. This was our second visit to Savor. The food was tasty, but our waiter was lack luster. After serving our food, he came to check on us twice. Then another waiter offered to refill our water, but he never returned. Our waiter finally showed up, but with our check. He didn't ask if we needed anything else or offer dessert. So we paid. Gave the average tip. And walked across the street to Lark on the Park and enjoyed the rest of our brunch. We received exceptional service there and even though they were busy, we never felt brushed aside or on the look out to ask for service.

The restaurant is gorgeous, especially at night. The food was okay, the service was subpar. Desserts and cocktails were bright spots. But there are so many restaurants in Dallas doing good food with professional waitstaff... Do yourself a favor - have drinks or dessert at Savor if you can't resist the park view, but eat dinner elsewhere.

Reservations required, but get there early, you may get an early seating. We had a group of 5 for an 8:45 p.m. seating. We arrived at 8:00 hoping to get a table; we were seated at 8:05 p.m. We loved our server! Appetizers come w/four pieces of said appetizers, we had five people in our party, we got an extra piece at no extra cost. Nice touch. My husband thought it was too expensive, I thought it was okay. We paid $100.00 (w/tip) for wine, appetizers, dinner and dessert. Well worth it. Will try again!

What a lovely spot. Although the bar area is trendy and louder, the part of the restaurant where we were seated was so elegant and lovely, and we could converse with ease. The service was fantastic. We needed to leave on time for symphony, and our waitress was super kind / attentive / efficient. Even though the restaurant was filling, she was sensitive to our needs. The food is beautiful and lovely. I had the beet salad to start and scallops for dinner. My companions started with green salads and then salmon for their entrees. We were all purring. Of course the view at night is spectacular. And we were within walking distance of the Meyerson. Lovely special occasion spot. I definitely recommend it!

The bench seating is awful. All of the benches are too low relative to the table height. We had to ask the waiter to find cushions to elevate the height. Also, those seats facing the glare of the kitchen and away from the outdoors are not good. It is too pricey for the size of the servings.

The location is amazing and it is a great way to enjoy the beauty of downtown at night. Sadly, the service does that match the local. It was not the "we are honored to have you with us tonight" service I have received at our cities great restaurants. I had the feeling that the staff felt they were doing me a favor by serving me. Also, I had the roasted chicken and it was so dry and flavorless. The waiter never came by and asked how our meal was going. Savor seems a little arrogant right now. Dallas does food well, they need to step up their game.

First tried Savor for lunch with friends shortly after it opened. Food was fair but FABIAN, our waiter, was truly awful. Because the restaurant is so beautiful and we love Klyde Warren, I decided to give Savor another shot for dinner. My husband and I were seated on the gorgeous patio when our waiter greeted us. I couldn't believe it...FABIAN, again. I considered asking for another server. I didn't. Big mistake. The night went downhill from there. My husband never got tea refills, food came late and cold, plates weren't cleared. You get the picture. It was a disaster. The restaurant is gorgeous. I will return for drinks on the patio but never again for food. If it weren't for its location and beauty, I wouldn't give Savor another look.

Dinner for four featured very good food but was a bit rushed. I felt that they were trying to turn the table. The bar scenme is noisy and crowded, but the dining room in the back is fine. The tables along the glass near the kitchen are uindesirable as they get too much traffic in what is really a narrow corridor. The supposedly first rate bartender made a lousy Old Fashioned which was supposed to be one of their features. More like bourbon on the rocks, actually one large cube, with an orange peel and a bit of bitters. Try something else.
