We were seated outside, but after about 20 minutes no one had come to our table - after a complaint, the waitress came out to apologize profusely because the hostess who seated us failed to tell her we were outside, so she then provided us with a complimentary flatbread, which was delicious. After we ordered, the hostess came out to also apologize and provided us with a coupon for a free dessert, so we knew that they were really sorry about ignoring us. My husband's short rib dinner was excellent and my eggplant sandwich was tasty, but had too much roll for the amount of filling. The dessert was also excellent. INside seemed kind of noisy, so we were happy to be outside despite the long wait.

This was my first dinner but third time at the restaurant. It has an awesome wine list and the servers are very knowledgable and helpful in choosing a wine. My impression each time has been that the restaurant needs to describe its food accurately. I ordered a salad with crab cake, bibb lettuce, roasted corn and avocado. What arrived at my table was a plate with a GIANT pile of spring mix, one bibb lettuce leaf at the bottom, a 1/4" slice of avocado and 7 (Yes I counted them) corn kernels that were not roasted. My friend also had this salad and she had 11 corn kernels. When we said something, our waiter brought us additional corn - also not roasted. The crab cake was good but not amazing and very small.

Server was not familiar with portion size. Not servers fault. Server was told what to say, but size was obviously wrong. That said, I was not disappointed in size, but I would have ordered differently, had I known more.

We've been back five times now, so I've had a chance to sample the menu. I had the Ciopino special our last visit, and was disappointed it wasn't available this time, so I went back to the short ribs. Still one of my absolute favorites. I suspect we'll be back many more times.

This was a second chance after deciding to never go back and our decision was made. Prior visit food was adequate and service was poor. This time food was ok, and service seemed to be ok but then went downhill. Too many other good restaurants around to give this place a third chance

Went there for my birthday dinner with family. Included an 8 year old and 2-1/2 year old. The waiter was fantastic with them. Food was very good, although my chicken breast was a bit overcooked. For our party of eight they seated us in the front window. Facing west, it was a bit sunny. Would have preferred something more interior, but I don't think they can arrange that. Really like the use of local produce and meats.

Enjoyed the food. I thought my salad with the crab cake was overpriced as the salad itself had nothing except mixed greens and very basic vegetables but the crab cake addition was quite tasty. The dessert I had, the chocolate ship cookie version, was pleasant but the presentation seems to be a direct copy of the competition's and not as well executed.

This restaurant had a lot going for it. It is a farm to table restaurant that offers a varied many with many low calorie choices. The decor was trendy with lots of chatter going on. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was attentive. Most in our group enjoyed their food although I thought my fish was a little overlooked. There were several options for a small dessert - only $3. I would go back again and give it another try.

I always look forward to my meals here and leave pleased. This visit was no exception, despite that my entree was not something I'd order again (Vegetarian Trio, slightly too small for $14, the mushrooms & artichoke salad too mild in flavor; but the chevre stuffed peppers were great). Our appetizer flatbreads were amazing, though (ordered both Smoked Salmon and Pesto Caprese). Server was friendly and available, everything came out in a quick, timely manner. Went with the wine flight of 3 white wines, all were wonderful except the Riesling from Mosel, Germany which was nice, but lacked aroma. I recommend the Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, has some nice fruity peach tones!

The wine was great. The food was just OK. The service was terrible. We ordered drinks, the waitress came back to take or order so we ordered appetizers. Still no drinks. She came back and took our dinner order. Still no drinks. Our appetizers came out. Our drinks did not arrive until after we had finished the appetizers. Totally unacceptable. Will not return to this restaurant.

What a great and relaxing meal with my daughter. We had a couple of drinks and some apps. The waitress was awesome!! We realized that we were not going to be able to eat one of the apps that we ordered and as she had not yet put in the order with the kitchen, she pulled it for us. We love the caprese flatbread and we always enjoy the cheese plate, we also ordered the quinoa salad, first time, delicious!!!

we have tried this restaurant several times hoping for improvement. I made reservations through Open Table. The hostess immediately took us to our table, I asked if we could have 1 of the 2 adjacent open booths, she replied that booths were reserved for reservations only, told her that we did make a reservation, her reply was Open Table "didn't count". I do not recall that statement on the Open Table web site. My wife and I both had salmon, it was dry & overcooked, vegetables were under cooked. Waitress was nice. the rating regarding service is not reflective of the waitress, only other staff. She did not bring our food out, however one of the individuals that did, dropped the plates on the table so hard that the food almost fell off.

The food was outstanding- fresh cooked perfectly and the portions were just right. I loved that mist of the items were under 500 (the ones not were noted on the menu). The drinks n service were also outstanding. The restaurant was a little crowded (tables packed in there) making it a little noisy, but still had a wonderful time cerebrating my husbands birthday. I would recommend this place.

I think that the attributes that most set "Harvest" apart from the rest are how amazingly fresh the ingredients are and the lightness (<500 calories mostly) of the dishes. Many restaurants load you up with piles of "carbs" and salt. The "Harvest approach allows all of the individual components to shine through. The atmosphere is also relaxed with no bright lights. The waitstaff is informed, friendly and attentive. Nice bar & wine selection. Upon leaving, you can think about what you want to do next rather than where you can go to sleep. It's not inexpensive but good value for money spent.

This was our first visit to Harvest and we were surprised by the formality of the dining room. I had a much more rustic and casual ambiance in my mind but it was very charming. The food was all well prepared and seasoned -- and I loved the local sourcing of your offerings. The portions were a bit small for the men of my family but it is probably due to our exposure to the extensive overportioning in the industry. We will be back again.

I really wanted to be wowed by Harvest. I love the idea of a restaurant using locally grown items and having entres 500 calories or less. I will say that our summer gazpacho-like soup was fantastic. But my main entre chicken was over-cooked and dry and the flavor of the dish in general was pretty bland. Another party at our table had the salmon and, while he reported it was delicious, the accompanying veggies were also pretty bland (as well as spare). Keep trying, Harvest - we need good, healthy restaurants!

I had a business lunch at Harvest about 3 weeks ago and enjoyed it. Harvest is kind of like 'Seasons 52' in KOP. I decided to bring the family for dinner this time. I had the Tuna which was pretty good, was cooked and prepared well. The sauce was lacking in any real flavor though. I expected a little more flavor. The crab sushi piece was served cold anot room temperature which is a turn off for me ans tells me it was not fresh. My wife had the short ribs with cornbread. They were over cooked and dry as well as the cornbread.. Drinks and beer menu is adequate but nothing special. Food here is overpriced and I expected more.. Chances are we will not be going out of our way to come back here...
