Outstanding steaks; sides were less than memorable, but portions were generous. Heat generated by sizzling steak plates made the temp in the room soar once the food arrived, but otherwise a great spot. Service was very good; sometimes too attentive. Friendly bartender and staff, which is nice in NYC!

Great steak, great cold seafood appetizer, great sides... Service was outstanding. Very engaging and friendly with our two boys (16 and 10). Only downer was a mediocre apple strudel for desert. Apples were mealy and bland. My wife's creme brulee was excellent though and the strudel was just a MINOR blip on a great meal. Come prepared w/ a fat wad of cash or plenty of room on your Visa though. Like all the NYC steakhouses, it ain't cheap...

The steak was fantastic and service was excellent. I celebrated a friend's birthday there and they followed my instructions to discretely bring out a small slice of cake. The steak was tender and full of flavor without the usual sea of butter found in other steakhouses. Aspargus was excellent. Fries could have used a better "crust" but were good. Service was attentitive without being overbearing. Overall a great business lunch.

I understand that this is a Peter Luger offshoot. This is Luger's with class. NY strip was served sliced off the bone on a sizzling platter ala Luger's. Flavor was excellent. Waiter resisted my collegue's request to butterfly his filet to achieve well-done. Instead a more squat cut was chosen. Prices are not outrageous for the quality/quantity. Appetizers -- crabcakes and lump crabmeat cocktail -- were very good. Wines by the glass are more than adequate, winelist seemed reasonably priced.

Typical man's corporate steakhouse fare with cozy living room/den like atmosphere. Service was impeccable, food was good. As far as steaks go: better than Sparks, a notch below Palm too, many notches below Wolfgangs and Comes no where near Peter Luegers. Another "me too" steakhouse with similar menu. I'd go elsewhere for taste, but this place has all the other steakhouses beat on servce.
