   this is one of my favorite restaurants in chapel hill! i celebrated my 22nd birthday here and come here fairly often! i’ve never had a bad experience at this restaurant. please come here, you won’t regret it!

   Returned to this restaurant after a number of positive experiences. Food was terrific, wait staff good. My only opportunity for improvement was the level of music & noise as we were seated inside. It made it difficult to hear one another at our table. Maybe it would have been better to be seated outside? Maybe next time -

   Went for my best friends birthday. Another college booked que chula for their cocktail dinner so it was PACKED and we could barely hear each other talk outside. I reminded the waitress 2 times that it was my friends birthday and she didn’t do anything special. Won’t be coming back. Margaritas also were not good

   We made a reservation months ago to come eat after a UNC basketball game. They really did not have any organization for reservations at all. The couple in front of us also had a reservation but not table was available. They only thing they had was outdoor seating with some inefficient heaters in 40 degree temps. It was so cold. The food was great and service excellent but by making a reservation on a busy basketball day in Chapel Hill a customer expects to be seated.

   We tried this place when in town visiting our son based on decent reviews. I got carve asada street tacos which had tough meat and were cold. My husband had fish tacos and they were so soggy the tortilla fell apart. The price for the quality was way too high. Taco Bell is better.

   Excellent location, fun crowd, attentive and efficient staff, generous food portions (everything we had was tasty) and nice outdoor space right on Franklin.
