   My grandma & I had a reservation for 7pm , we were a little late but I got in contact & they were able to hold the table still. This wasn’t our first time here but still 10/10 experience. Great waitress I wish I got her name , but she was very fast and sweet. We were I guess celebrating my moms birthday who couldn’t be there as she’s in bc but she still brought out a desert that said happy birthday on it in honour of my mom and even a card from the staff which I can pass along to her. Very sweet moment and the food was great! If you were my server at my table thank you for your amazing job.

   Lovely evening, prompt and efficient service, good food especially the side dishes and the delicious mini desserts - great idea! Noisy especially for the elderly with hearing aids!

   Seemed like our waitress wanted us out quickly. When we ordered drinks, appies, mains together she got the order wrong even though she was using an iPad. A bit confused but Thankfully she confirmed after. Our appies, soup, salad all came quickly and together. Before we even got 3 bites into our salad our mains came out and we said we just started our salads, appies and soup. Told server that we are not ready. Of course our meals will just sit under a warming area till we’re ready which means not fresh. The server kept trying to clear plates off when we were not done and that goes for the main course too. We were perturbed about that. It’s like she needs to go somewhere and to get us out. Meal was tasty and dessert too. Coffee served was cold but she got me a new cup that was fresh. I gave Chop a try again, service was better than the first time as that waitress told us to refill your own glasses of water at a station with water jugs.

   Yesterday was our wedding anniversary we wanted a steak dinner so decided to try Chop. Our server, Andrew, was very good, he was very knowledgeable with regards to the menu and the wine list. The food was great, especially the little tuna bites to begin. We will definitely recommend. Thank you for a very pleasant evening.

    A recent visit to chop was a bit of a disappointment. I ordered the short rib special that came with mushroom risotto and broccolini. The short rib (one rib) had very little meat, no sauce and seemed dry. The plate was overflowing with chewy broccolini and beneath the broccolini, I found the mushroom risotto. The mushroom risotto was definitely the star of the dish. I would definitely not order this special again as it was not worth the cost of the dish.
