Bar Koukla is a casual and intimate snack bar setting on the popular Ossington strip. A space where traditional touches merge effortlessly with contemporary design. Our interpretation of the classic Athenian mezedolpoleio mixes authentic meze, a raw seafood bar, a natural and oraganic wine list and cocktails inspired by the Athenian metroploitan culture.

Outrageously overpriced for the postage stamp sized portions they give you. Everything is sort of sickly sweet and overly presented, but under flavored terrible service this feels like a cookie cutter restaurant like a small scale version of one of those big box places: formulaic completely generic and frankly, the furthest thing from authentic masquerading as though it created Greek food. It’s like a Disney version of Greek food and not in a good way. To be avoided at all costs

We had a great meal here! The service was excellent, creative cocktails and tapas style food that was really delicious. Would recommend!!

Food was great. Service didn’t feel personal. We didn’t know who our server was. Furthermore, when food was brought to table it was placed with no care or thought to how it can fit on table for diner comfort and ease of serving. No serving utensils were provided. Also, given it’s a Mediterranean restaurant, suggest playing some relevant music, non 90’s R&B all night.
