This was my first visit to the new location. The interior is nice with sufficient separation between tables to allow conversation. The restaurant was crowded but not noisy. The neighborhood is REALLY seedy! The food is excellent and the price is very reasonable.

I had the scallops and they were very blan. No taste. Dinner Salad - average. The ribeye was good but nothing spectacular. My dinner companion and my self were seated next to the wall between the party rooms. Both being used. The dining room was empty upon arrival at 5:00 PM. When we left it was barely half full. Had they provided better seating our dining experience would have been more enjoyable. I mentioned this to the wait staff with no response. The service was nothing above average.. I have had much better service in other Dayton dining establishments. Overall it was okay but my money could have been spent better elsewhere at other establishments in Dayton. It is not one upon which I would return or reccomend.

We had been to the old Coco's and this was our first time at the new location. First impressions were that it was a big room, it almost needs some pictures or tapestries on the walls to break up the "dark" rather sombre appearance. Food was very good. Another nice touch would have been some background music, it was rather quiet even though the restaurant was almost full.

This was our first time visiting in the new location. Love the new dining room, and our food was fantastic. We shared the lamb lollipops for an appy, and had the red trout and chicken breast as our entrees. Everything was perfectly prepared and our waiter, Tony, was amazing (as always!). Thanks for a great evening!

I read mixed reviews about Coco's and was concerned about the service deficit an poor food quality that seemed to be the experience of some. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and were seated on time. Our waiter was hustling to serve a large group, but took the time to say that he'd be with us as soon as he took care of this party. He was obviously working hard to take care of several tables, but when he waited on us, we felt as though we had his full attention. He patiently answered questions and made suggestions. The pace of the evening was perfect and our dinners were delicious (and hot). We shared several desserts that hit the spot. Great dinner. Great evening.

Coco's has a great vibe and outstanding food. I especially love the bar area, it's big, comfortable and the bar tenders are excellent. During dinner our guests had wine by the glass that they raved about The service at Coco's continues to improve, since moving from their small location they have had some growing pains. The wait staff seems a little frazzled at times but It keeps getting better. Coco's is a great place for a date or dinner with other couples. We love it.

We dined after a show, so our reservations weren't until after 10 p.m. Once we arrived, we were steered toward the bar in lieu of the dining area, being told it would offer us two menus. We ordered from only the dinner menu, and in hind sight would have preferred the dining room. Our waitress was fantastic. But being sat at a too small table in the bar area with my teen daughter wasn't what I had hoped for. That said, the bar scene was nice if you're looking for a small appetizer or glass of wine or cocktails. It was good busy given it's downtown and a bit off the beaten path. The food was pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but tasty. The fried brie appetizer was really quite yummy.

We were the first people to arrive at the restaurant on a Saturday at 5:30. They chose to seat us right in front of the service corridor. We asked if we could choose another table - the place was empty yet. We were told NO by a rather harried and grumpy host. Apparently Open Table plans the seating and no earthly human could deviate from the plan- or so we were told. Caesar salad arrives, has an up charge, and it was limp lettuce, not even hearts of Romaine, it must have been dressed earlier in the day. The main course arrived more than one hour later! All those empty tables around us...we're filled with diners enjoying their meals. It was a good thing we allowed 21/2 hours to eat before our show at 8 pm. Now for the dessert... Forget it

Not quite up to the standard of the old Coco's but is about to hit its stride. It shows great potential. I arrived early, and it took some time for me to be noticed at my table because a large party or two. Once the waiter came, service improved at once. The cocktails were ample and good. Although the menu seemed smaller than at the old location, the entrees we chose were prepared perfectly. This new and larger location should serve Coco's well--especially if they can maintain the same comfy bistro feel of the previous location. I wish them luck.
