The food was delicious, with items on the menu being very different and not what you would get at a regular restaurant. The server was very busy and we waited a long time to be greeted, for our appetizers, for our salads, for our dinner, and for every drink we ordered. The restaurant was full, so I understand. However, it should not take 5 minutes to even be greeted.

As always the food at Coco's was delish. I usually love to get drinks at Coco's, but did not end up drinking because the bar was out of some of the ingredients for 2 of the featured cocktails (the girlie types that I like).

Our group of four had a totally enjoyable time! We arrived a little early so we cold have a drink in the bar. Both bar tenders were friendly, the service and drinks were spot on. They also new the menu which helped me in my dinner choice. The great service did not end after being seated! Our waitress was also knowledgeable, friendly and with just the right amount of humor. She was there when yo needed her. As good as all that was....the food was even better! I can't wait to go again!!!

Ancho-cocoa-dusted scallops, with cherry chutney, for an appetizer. Wow. And amazing cocktails. Very tasty and eclectic menu with QUALITY vegetables accompanying the entrees, which were not too large and not too small. Wait staff all around us was attentive and knowledgeable. We had a fantastic time at Coco's, from the ambiance and decor to the delicious food. Everything was delicious, from the home-made dressings -- honey balsamic was so good-- for the salads, the bread, and the main course. I had a the ahi tuna with pappardelle, which was rich and very filling, and my partner had the beef stroganoff which looked equally as tasty. Next time I'm going to choose a lighter main dish and save room for dessert!

Great food, our server was nice and efficient. Think our waiter was Scott, and he did a great job. The wine we chose wasn't available, so he found another and gave it to us at a discount. The Malbec was terrific, and a great complement to our dinners. This was my second time trying the lamb lollipop appetizer, and it's a great choice. Our party enjoyed salads, then steak dinners. The beef was perfectly prepared, and the cabernet sauce on the tenderloin was spectacular. This visit, our second, was better than the first, and we'll be back. Great neighborhood restaurant, and an absolute recommendation for those in town at the University of Dayton.

This is a great little restaurant. Our service has always been fantastic. My husband and I have eaten here several times, and we always look forward to the short ribs. Sadly, they have been taken off the menu. We tried the agrodolce and the beef stroganoff instead. The agrodolce was really good, but the beef stroganoff was disappointing. Very bland. We will still visit this restaurant, but less often now that our favorite dish is no longer available.

This visit was during the second week of Restaurant Week. We had a very good experience and the food was delicious. A couple thoughts -- The menu for the main courses was different from advertised for Restaurant Week. Not a problem for us, but we frequently dine with a friend who has health-related dietary restrictions and she carefully checks menus ahead of time. Also during the first RW, the cost was $20.14, but the second week was $25.14, in one case for the exact same meal. Again not a problem for us, but an unexpected extra $10 could be a problem for some. couples. If RW gets extended in the future, both your site and the restaurant association site should reflect changes. in both choices and cost.

We went during restaurant week and the food was fantastic!! The only down side was the service...they didn't have a glass available for the first half hour we were there, so my Son didn't get a beverage until someone did the dishes. They were obviously super-busy and unprepared. Though the food made up for the extremely slow service, it was a bit of a downer.

We have dined at the former location and the current location. Both were excellent and the new location improves on space and available private dining rooms. We held our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Coco's in September and it could not have been better. The facility, waitresses, food and everything was beyond our expectations. I would pick Coco's for any group event for dinner. We had a 6:30 PM reservation and while we arrived early, we still had to wait until 7:00 PM to ask about our table. The Matre D' appeared to be overwhelmed and confused, however, he has been with Coco's for some time. Our February 1st reservation was during "restaurant week" and their selections were great. We will enjoy future dinners at Coco's.

We went on Saturday night during restaurant week. We were seated in the bar area at a high top. High tops are difficult for us but made due since it was Sat./restaurant week and that they were packed. It was very noisy in the bar, we had to yell to be heard. Food was awesome, service was good considering Sat./rest. wk. We told the server we had theater tickets and asked her to put in our dessert order soon after she brought our entree. She also offered to bring the check w/dessert which she did. In the future, we will use Open Table's special request feature to request seating in the dining room.

Went during Restaurant Week on a Saturday- had an early reservation at 5:30. We were informed they had ran out of trout- which was very disappointing! We enjoyed the ambience and the rest of the food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress took a long time to collect our bills at the end of the night. The staff seemed more disgruntled the busier they got?

We went to Coco's for a birthday celebration. There were three of us in our party. I made reservations for 5:00 pm. Got right in when we arrived. Our server was a lovely girl. She did a great job. I ordered the steak. I have to tell you that this was the best meal I have had at a restaurant in many years. The steak was supurb and the accompaniments were great. Loved the mac-n-cheese. It was a great experience. I will be back.

First time experience during restaurant week. While the service was slower we were not in a hurry and did not expect more. Our server though was spot on. The food was fantastic. There were 4 in our party and all dinners were delicious as (ok it's gross) but we shared tastes. One diner thought his homemade mac and cheese was better. Overall, we will be back. As a side note, the outside dining area looks very inviting and look forward to the warmer months..

Great Food, Great service. Only thing i would change about this place, is that it is SO WIDE open. we had a nice table by the window, but if you are not in that section, you are in the middle of a big room, on display. they should put in some half wals to section off the restaurant a bit and give it more of an intamate feel. We'll be back for the food and service, but would be one of our favorite places if it was a little more intimate.
