  • This was billed as a Thanksgiving
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 11/27/2008
This was billed as a Thanksgiving Day Feast, not even near it! This will go down as the worst Thanksgiving ever. What did we get? A salad, the main coarse, which wasn't even enough food to cover the plate, consisting of turkey-White & dark meat (I don't eat dark meat but wasn't given a choice), An ice cream scooper's worth of stuffing & mashed potatoes with brown gravy, raw broccoli (I don't eat broccoli),a half a shot glass worth of the worst cranberry sauce I've ever tasted, and a half of a small sweet potato. then pumpkin pie (Pecan pie is what I like but couldn't substitute) Anything else was extra, like $2.25 for a glass of ice tea. It ended up being over $80 for 3 people (Not including tip) for a dinner not worth half that. Horrible!

    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 11/27/2008
We enjoyed having our Thansgiving dinner out this year. The Black Angus made it both easy and pleasant. Being seated in the "Lovers Lane" section was an added amenity considering the bargain price. Our waitress was pleasant, very efficient, and with good timing. The food was tasty and the portions were large, almost like home.

  • We really enjoyed the dining
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 10/18/2008
We really enjoyed the dining experience - relaxed atmosphere, we didn't feel like we were rushed (you know how the waiters/waitresses sometimes keep trying to get your order). The table at the booth was a little small for 4 people though. A misunderstanding - When ordering the salad which comes with the meal, she asked our friend what kind of dressing he wanted on it he said caesar dressing. She brought him a caesar salad, and did not mention that caesar salad is an additional $2.99. The potato soup normally really really good but we were dissapointed this time it was really salty. The waitress offered to replace them with salads for the 3 of us which was nice.

The Manager at this facility was outstanding. We had dinner with some old friends that were relocating and that we hadn't seen for a while. We all had quite a few drinks, the manager let us stay after closing while the staff cleaned up and even brewed us a pot of coffee prior to our depature. Wow, how awesome is that. I would definitely go back to and highly recommend this location and the manager

Our waitress was outstanding, and who doesn't love Guiness on tap? I wasn't too impressed with my New York Strip - Center Cut (I'd asked for medium and I got well), however, the rest of the food was good. We shared a sampler platter which easily fed four with a little of everything and our drinks were never empty.

It took three tries to get appetizer plates that weren't dirty. Our meal arrived not more than two minutes after our soups. My meal was delivered with the wrong veggie selection and when I got the correct selection they were undercooked. Then when we received the bill, it was wrong. Overall, a POOR experience. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2008

Hello, I asked for a green salad and a bake potato. Your menu doesn't offer green salads individually, just in a pick 2 combo. I inquired about the size of the salad and it seemed small so I ordered a 1/2 turkey sandwich on wheat bread. It arrived on grilled sourdough with lots of melted cheese. When I asked about the wheat bread, he said they only had sourdough. He asked me if this was OK. I said, well no, oh well, I kept the sandwhich, picked out the turkey and didn't eat the fries. I feel that our server should have mentioned that I could have subbed out the fries for a baked potato. My husband had the steak/lobster combo. He said the steak was just OK. We spent over $62 for lunch. We're not impressed. Thank you.

The server was very nice, but must have been new. I asked for "non-creamy" horseradish and received sour cream with no noticable amount of horseradish. Unrelated to the server, my son-in-law's "medium" top sirloin came out so rare that even I wouldn't have eaten it and I love rare meat. My rib-eye was full of grisel, so much so that it caused me to leave 1/4 of my steak on my plate. We had 3 different people tell us they would bring a high chair for the 2 year old, but finally we had to get up to get it ourselves at which point someone actually brought one. 6pm on a Sunday night was not a busy time and there were plenty of employees there. Sorry, but not worth the $100+ that we spent.
