My husband and I were looking for a restaurant close to Longwood Gardens. We were going there for a concert. It was a warm, beautiful summer evening, so we ate outside. We definitely go back.

Found this as they were the only place in the area open on a holiday but was pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the food. It is clear the owner prides himself on what is served and it shows. The only complaint was that the entree came while we were still enjoying the appetizer and had to be warmed. They should let the customers spend more time savoring the food. Prices are moderate but the serving staff could use a little work on being attentive, but a great local place.

The food was exceptional espec the meat marinarro sauce. Everybody enjoyed the meal and the service was also very good The place was very clean and neat. The only thing I can complain about is the bread if it was warm it would have been perfect. Also the bread could have been cut through eliminating the need to pulling off each piece. Other than that I will definitely return sooner then later to enjoy there food choices.

This was our first visit to La Verona. The fact that it is BYOB even though it has a full bar is a plus. We enjoyed everything we ordered (Ceasar Salad, the pasta with Italian Sausage and Broccoli Rabe, and the Spumoni Bomb). Our waitress was attentive. The restaurant is a nice addition to Kennett Square.

In the heart of Kennett Square you'll find this neighborhood gem. Convenient to the Flash and all the art galleries. For a great social experience check out their bar and wonderful appetizers (gourmet pizzas are highly recommended).

On this occasion I was at La Verona for a wine dinner. We used a private room in the back (I hadn't even known it was back there). It was a nice room and conveniently set up. The appetizers were tasty - mushroom and tomato brushetta, stuffed mushrooms and a plate with cheese and crudites. Service was excellent! We stayed for dinner afterwards in the main restaurant. All of use thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the service again was excellent! I got the scallops and my husband got the monkfish - both were delicious.

We took my mom and dad here for mom's birthday. It's a good family restaurant, and was not at all crowded on a Friday night. There's no kid's menu, but they make kid's food available (chicken fingers, smaller pasta dishes, etc.). The atmosphere is a bit lacking, but the food was surprisingly good, and our waitress was wonderful, very accommodating. The food is not necessarily plated as a fine gourmet meal, but the taste was outstanding. I would not hesitate to go back.

Outstanding Italian food, excellent service, respectable prices and the best people that you can find. And I love that they use table cloths...adds elegance to a really clean restaurant. Jack and Sam, the owners, are to be commended for a fine, good eating quite place. And don't overlook the specials, they are fantastic. We eat often and have never been disappointed.

The veal parm was very tasty but presentation was lacking. The Cesar salad was tasteless. Waiter very friendly. The owners are very warm and make you feel very welcome.

We decided to eat at LaVerona because it was located at the midpoint for everyone in our party and it was well reviewed. Even so, I was surprised by the excellent food and service. We were also happy to find that they had live music on Saturday nights. I'd recommend LaVerona without hesitation.
