The questions you didn't ask are more important than what you ask. Great place to meet clients or friends. Very diverse menu. Reasonable $. Attentive but not overdone service. Didn't rush us on a busy weeknight. My second visit - there will be more.

Loved the ambiance and the fact that the restaurant had an open kitchen. The appetizers were amazing and so was the whole wheat pita bread. I wish I knew they had whole wheat on the first round of bread we had which was all white bread. I didn't love the fish I had, but the other people I was dining with loved their lambchops. I would definately go back, but I would try a different main course.

Food was absolutely excellent. Waitress attempted to rush us at first, but we told her we'd rather not put our second course orders in until we had finished our appetizers. After that, we were much more relaxed.

Service was superb! Appetizers and salads were great. The main entrees taste good but are small and overpriced. I would definately go again for the wine, appetizers, and salads. You can have a great, filling meal with these and no entree.

I understand lunch time is a busy time, but they should pay more attention to every customer. Had to flag down for service. Take over an hour for lunch, so if you are press for time, not a good idea. Overall its a good place.

Great take on Turkish cuisine, both traditional and creative dishes. Wine list was great but cocktail list was stragely not offered to us until after the meal, despite a specific request, so can't comment on that ("Do you have a cocktail list?" "No, but we can do pretty much anything, we have a full bar"). A sad omission in an age when a big hip place is simply expected to please guests with fun cocktails to start the meal. All in all, the experience was good and the above average food was detracted from by mediocre service. The question "What is on your mezze platter" should not be answered by "Pretty much everything.. except [waitor proceeds to list 6 items]". Come on, you should make my experience easier, not more complicated.

Excellent main courses. Lamb perfectly done. But the spinach wasn't properly washed (appetizer). And the fried "shredded wheat" dessert was done in old oil (strong taste) and in cool oil (too greasy).

The food was outstanding, but our waiter was a total loser. There was some problem in the kitchen that caused a delay. I don't know what it was, but instead of saying there was problem, our waiter just ignored us, despite many attempts to get his attention. Twice I asked other waiters to ask him to come to our table, and he still ignored us. Finally, after waiting an hour after finishing our appetizer, I asked to see the manager, who brought us our food in 30 seconds. Although the manager comped our desserts, I was still mad and wanted to leave a $1.00 tip, but didn't. I don't believe that there was a problem in the kitchen, just a jerky waiter. I love this restaurant, but I don't know if I'll be back just because of this bozo.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food at Pera. The website does not make it clear that the Wine and Meze afternoon combination is only available at the bar. However, the staff accommodated us by serving it at our table since the restaurant was nearly empty at the time. Service was friendly and attentive. We look forward to returning for dinner.

Business dinners can get pretty monotonous - -steak italian steak italian french......This Turkish restaurant pulls of food that draws people to talk and its interesting middle eastern wine list caps it off. Pera has great great polished style that is great for my high tech financial services business!!!!! highly recommend.

My only complaint is that although we had a 1pm reservation and, in fact, arrived early, we had to wait over 40 minutes for our table. That is unacceptable at lunch when the clientele are business people with commitments. The food was outstanding - I've spent a lot of time in Turkey and this lamb adana was one of the best.
