Two of my friends and I ate lunch at Lexx this week. I had been a few times previously with my husband for dinner and we were always happy with our meals so I recommended my friends and I try it for lunch. It was quiet at lunch time and the waitress was very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We all ordered salads. My friend and I thought the Ceasar salad dressing lacked a little in flavor. My friend ordered a salad as well and felt as though it was nothing special. My friend ordered the Moroccan stew which was a gluten free item and delicious! I would dine here again but order something other than a salad.

Food was yummy and presented well, service was a little odd in that we had three different servers come to the table throughout the dining experience. Our main waiter was a funny older gentleman who was a little spacey but generally pretty good. I liked that the tables were not on top of eachother so dining was a little more private(nice because it was valentines day). I would come again. Though geared to an older crowd...

We dined at Lexx following a concert, so it was pretty late at night. We were seated and greeted right away. The service was friendly and quick. One of us ordered Chardonnay which tasted watered-down. The table bread and herb butter was nice. The fig and prosciutto raviolis were amazing, but the other two entrees we ordered - boar bolongese, hamburger - were lacking in flavor and originality. I actually really enjoyed the creamed spinach side-dish that came with the burger. All in all, this place was pretty good but seemed a bit overpriced for what we were given. We dined here for the convenience and, even thoguh we live about 15 minutes away, I cannot see us coming back here by choice.

We have visited LEXX several times and this experience was OK. The service was adequate but the waiter seemed distracted, buzzing around in the kitchen and not all that attentive to his tables. He spilled our cocktails which were overfilled and difficult to handle without spilling. I have noticed this at more than one restaurant. The server comes to the table holding the drinks and walking as if on eggs. One solution would be to bring the drink in a small carafe along with the cocktail glass and then pour at the table. Had to ask for bread after our meals arrived. Talapia was fine and portions were plentiful. Steak tips were also fine and the sides of vegetables (asparagus and mushrooms) were very enjoyable.

. They have a nice bar area and their drinks are reasonable priced. My favorite is the beet or steak tio salads. It is a great place to go for a lite fare and a drink with friends. It is reasonably quiet so you can actually carry on a conversation.

We (a party of 3) had a delicious meal at Le xx recently. We have always enjoyed the food there, but Lexx has taken their game to the next level. Even a simple appetizer like 'chips and dip' is a really tasty treat. Their wine list is varied and their pairing suggestions are well selected. Dinners from $18 - $35 - there is something for everyone at Lexx.

Due to the unexpected absence of a staff member when restaurant opened for lunch we experienced something less than anticipated (e.g., longer wait for service, kitchen, etc.) particularly after many of our friends had passed along rave 5 star reviews on this restaurant. We understand these "speed bumps" do happen no matter how fine an establishment. Once manager/owner was made aware of our dining experience it was evident that he was genuinely concerned with our situation ...and takes a great deal of pride in his restaurant...and more importantly, the well being of his customers. Based upon this, we will be back as the Lexx otherwise appears to be a great establishment - absolutely immaculate, wonderful décor, ambience, location, etc

The parking was horrendous. It took me 15 minutes find one, could only find a meter for 30 minutes so they should valet. (I didn't see the public spot in the back on opposite side of street.) Lexx should post a sign or mention this lot at time of reservation call. Service was disjointed. Our party of 6 got food at varying times. Mine although delicious was almost cold. I will try it again as I thought the place cute and now what I know the parking situation will see if the combination of knowing where to park and not coming with 6 people make a difference on food and service.

We had a wonderful time at Lexx for our New Year's Eve Dinner. The food was very good; service very good; and the atmosphere very nice. My only very small quibble is we were a bit rushed through the meal so they could get to the next customers, but it is just a small quibble.

Lexx was a perfect option for our catch-up lunch with old friends. They were able to accommodate our party with three young children by seating us in a secluded back room - both to avoid disrupting other patrons and to give us time and space for the little ones. The food was delicious and the service was great - just the right amount of attention without being pressuring. This was a terrific option for our lunch and I'd definitely go back.

The food quaality was very good as was the service. My wife and I split a crab turnover appetizer. She had a chopped salad with beef tips and I had a small bibb salad and the boar bolognese. The salads were fresh, the meats and sauces were well prepared and tasty. The portions were generous. The drinks from the cocktail menu were imaginative, well prepared and sufficiently strong. It is nice to have yet another good restaurant in the area. We will be back.

Somewhat dissappointing. The food was good, though not so great that I would come back for that alone. It wasn't crowded and they made two of us wait for our third member. The service could have been better. And the wine was $9.50-$12 per glass and the pours were definitely on the small side.

The two of us had an acceptable, but not fabulous lunch which we found not up to Lexx's usual standard. We have both eaten there several times in the past, and enjoyed it enormously. But somehow this occasion was close to mediocre. Everything was "just okay" . We ordered sandwiches with sides (the sides were better than the sandwiches) and coffee. The coffee was also mediocre. This was a disappointing, but not catastrophic visit. We will both go back, but probably not very soon.

This was my first visit to Lexx. We had a great meal, with one small hiccup. In our party of four, one person's meal was somewhat over cooked. The server was very apologetic and made things right. While Lexx has somewhat of a small menu, there were plenty of choices outside the norm. We had a great meal and were very pleased with the service. We will be back!

Meeting friends for lunch picked Lexx as it had great reviews and was equal distance for both couples. We were not disappointed. Food was very good. It was quite Sunday afternoon and we were able to sit and enjoy each other's company. Our server Danielle was just so good. She was attentive and we never felt that we were overstaying our welcome. The dinner menu looked so interesting we bought a gift certificate for friends who are great foodies. Lexx is a keeper.

We've been here before and have not been too impressed - the menu strives to be different and unique (which is admirable) but the basic cooking skills seem to be a bit lacking. My recommendation would be to skip trying to be all over the globe in terms of your menu, but narrow it down and perfect a specific type of cuisine.

We went to Lexx for my birthday dinner with 7 people including 2 kids and had a nice time. Our server was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the food and wine list. When we sat down they brought us an assortment of bread with herb butter that my kids loved and we ordered the tempura string beans appetizer which was a crowd pleaser. The menu has a nice variety and everyone found something to suit their taste. Highlights included the butternut squash soup, beet salad, braised short ribs and seafood paella. I had the mahi mahi special which was delicious. The only complaint as the kids mac'n'cheese we got for my 2-year old was too "fancy". It was made with big shells that she didn't like and spices or pepper that she wouldn't eat.

Had a really great night at Lexx last weekend. The food was great, but what was more importnant was the help. They were running a few minutes behing seating us on our reservation, but bent over backwards to make us comfortable. We were given a compementary glaass of wine (and then an appetizer plate at the table) while we waited and were consistently updates even though the total wait only amounted to about 20 minutes. Wait staff service was excellent aslo. Pork and duck dishes were excellenet and pecan pie was over the top. Place also has a nice atmosphere with an energetic feel. We'll be back again.

We tried this restaurant on Wednesday evening and had a great experience...great waitress and the food was great. That night we had Bouillabaisse and the Paella, the Lexx & Beet salads. All was great. Friday night was not as good. That night we tried the Short Ribs which was more like beef stew; the puree it was served with repeated on me into the next day. My husband had the vegetable enchiladas which were served cold and had to be sent back to be warmed up - they tasted better warm than they did cold. We had a better idea of the menu items on Wednesday. Friday when I asked if the Short Ribs were good, the waiter said he hadn't tried them and I almost didn't order them from his so-so response. Maybe that was a clue...
