I enjoy Lexx. A well-stocked bar for any cocktail, a decent beer selection, but a relatively slim wine list. Food is always quite good, but not silly. I had their equivalent of a chef salad, and my wife had their pear salad -- both very good. A couple hints: (1) Ask for the blue cheese fries, even if they aren't on the menu; (2) the hummus plate is a great appetizer for the table, and even makes a nice meal.

Ok for families that might just want to get out of the kitchen (we unfortunately had some rather unruly screamers there to confirm), but both my and my dinner guests felt that we can cook as well or better and that there was nothing special about the food, service or atmosphere that would make us want to return.

This place needs a new barman. Ordered a Pisco Sour (listed on the menu as one of their specialties). Undrinkable. Replaced it with a margarita. Ditto. The steamed mussels and clams were excellent and very fresh, and very few. The other main courses were also masterfully prepared and presented. The swordfish alas, was overcooked and very dry.

Dined here on a busy Fri evening. Had gift certificate from previous visit when restaurant apparently lost our order. This time started with apparent mixup in table coverage, but once sorted out, service was good. Food was hit and miss: salads-all excellent. Entrees: mac and cheese (with chicken) excellent--ample serving, rich, flavorful. Pork chop good. The evening's special-grilled mahi mahi -was mediocre at best: overdone, sitting under a gummy apricot sauce and on top of some sort of "black oriental rice" which added little to the presentation. I keep wanting to like Lexx--it is a comfortable space- and have had very good experiences there with lunch, but don't think we will go back again for dinner.

I have been to Lexx many time and with this visit the staff presented as much friendlier and more willing to interact with the guests reviewing menu items. Our waiter took the time to go over new items on the menu and how well they have been received by previous guests. The food is always good and has been consistent over the 3/4 years that I have been dining there. Staff was attentive without being overbearing. Lexx honored my request of a booth even though our group of 3 had dropped down to two. I enjoy dining at Lexx-it is in a great central location and easy parking-just bring quarters!

We had a reservation but were given a table near the bar with the loud more bolsterous crowd. This made our conversation a little difficult. I wanted some comfort food and ordered the burger med rare and most of it was cooked more. They were attentive to this and gave us a free desert which was tasty as usual. My dates only complaint was she ate too much. Bottom line great place for fine dining ( the burger is for those wanting simple food like myself). But get a table in the dining room of you want to talk.

The back of this restaurant just gets too loud when full. Avoid it at times of graduation, etc. That said, the bar seating is the quieter part of the restaurant and we enjoy sitting there. There is a new menu and I missed some of my old favorites, like the Mediterranean stew. I eat here often at lunch and occasionally with family for dinner.

I keep wanting to love Lexx because it would be great to have a nice restaurant in Lexington Center. Yet I have been disappointed in the food three of the four times I've been here. Most recently I ordered the Jambalaya and although the dish had some kick to it, it lacked any depth of flavor, and moreover the chicken was overcooked to the point of being inedible. The spinach salad was good but nothing notable in itself. The food is fine - it's not terrible - I just keep hoping that it will be better than it really is.

Lexx food is always solid. Depending on your server, it was never sure. The tall thin waiter "C." we used to get sometimes is finally gone, so we have started to frequent Lexx a lot. I noticed he is at Bondir where his attitude and inability to check in with the customer (and snobbery over questions) will be welcomed, certainly. Thank you, Lexx. We'll see you again soon for your lovely duck, salads, salmon, burger, and more.

We were six for dinner. Seated at a round table helped somewhat, but the noise level made it almost impossible to carry on a conversation. The restaurant is very small and crowded. Our waitress was friendly and tried to make it a good experience. The pork osso bucco was melt-in-your mouth amazing! The salmon was perfect. Our salads were fresh and delicious. However, two guests ordered the Moroccan Stew, which they proclaimed "inedible", too spicy and mushy. Dessert crème brulee and profiteroles were exceptionally good. Two will not return. The others will definitely be back.

Lexx is a good neigborhood restaurant with above-average food. The prices are a bit high for some of the entrees, but the menu offers a good range of choices. I like that you can now add a protein to any of the salads for a full meal. I had the special, which was cod with crispy kale and lentils. It was a very generous portion of fish cooked nicely with an understated sauce. The side dishes really sole me on it. My friend had the squash-stuffed ravioli, which she enjoyed. Our only complaint was that the wine servings are far from generous.

I had read some previous review so was somewhat leery about the restaurant but decided to give it a try. I am glad I did. We had a very nice waiter who was very patient as my friend and I were catching up on life events and not looking at the menu. Once we did look at the menu we were surprised at the variety of options. My friend had the short ribs which looked very good and he said they tasted delicious. I had the paella which was fresh and very flavorful. So all in all a good experience.

it's a neighborhood staple, and they have a few dishes that they do really well, like osso bucco. But generally, for the ambience, this place feels a bit overpriced. With starters 8-12$ and entrees $23-30, it should feel a little more polished than it does.

Dinner was was nice at Lexx. Everything we ordered was very good from the tempura green beans to the Paella - all of the portions were perfect sized - not too small - and very tasty. I would definitely go back and try other options. The service is a bit awkward - the waiter gave us dessert and then handed us the check.. Like they were trying to turn the table but there was no one waiting. Other than that , it was cozy and delicious.
