The problem was we were seated very closely to (almost on top of) a table of 4 who were very loud and boisterous and truly enjoying their evening but making it very difficult for the two of us to have conversation. It would be better to have two tables of two in its place. The food was A++. Especially loved the rock shrimp and calamari appetizer and the crab dumplings were great, too. Best Beef Wellington I ever had, perfectly cooked vegetable risotto, and they personalized our dessert (toffee pudding cake) for our anniversary. Attentive, friendly service and an overall great dining experience. I had high expectations going in and Restaurant X absolutely X-ceeded them. Have not done dinner but imagine it is much more crowded. The food is wonderful and the pre-fix $25 lunch is reasonable for 3 courses. Since it was my daughter's birthday and this is her favorite restaurant, I didn't want to disappoint her, so I made a reservation for the evening before. I'm so glad I did. The service and food were outstanding. To my surprise, the staff apparently read my note on OpenTable and recognized her birthday during dessert. They provided her with her own mini mousse cake with candle and "happy birthday" written on the plate.
The staff was extremely attentive and the food cooked to perfection.

Two ordered the Cowboy Rib-Eye for two which was prepared to perfection and delicious. Other dishes were NY strip, Lamb shank, Tournedos and Thai shrimp all were very good.

I was pleasantly surprised and my experience far exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and attentive without hovering over us. The food was prepared and served perfectly. Everyone at our table of 5 was extremely satisfied with their meal. To top it off the price was very reasonable for such a wonderful dining experience. I went with the waiter's suggestion of fish and it was a very flavorful, and substantial in size, piece of salmon. It was in a broth that was delicious and came with bok choy -- one of my favorite vegetables. The service was attentive and designed to please the customer. It has a charming, elegant atmosphere, great food, and impeccable service. We were there last night to celebrate our friends' anniversary, and we all ordered from the Restaurant Week menu. There were several wonderful selections in each category. My mushroom ravioli appetizer and garlic shrimp entree were excellent - and I heard raves regarding the potato and leek soup, hanger steak, and salmon. The waiters couldn't do enough to please and suggest wine matches for our entrees. The house martini was delicious. Our meals were absolutely delicious...very fresh. Nice changes to past 2 year's menu. If not for the overly fried salmon tempura rol appetizer, the food was excellent, as always. Very nice atmosphere, until the loud gentleman sat next to us. Unfortunately, the tables for 2 are too close to each other. Rather than create a confrontation by asking this man to shut up, we dealt with it through the last part of our meal. Normally, even though close, it had never befor presented much of a problem.
