L'excellence, la diversité et l'originalité des plats y est toujours au rendez-vous, de l'entrée de calmars jusqu'au dessert de loukoums fins et exquis.   • "The mixed mezzes for 4 was great, different tastes, plenty of bread, but 3 out of 4 people took the lamb chops, two tiny chops, 4 bites and it was gone, but very moist, tasty, delicious lamb, with pistachio crust. And too much bulgur as a side, we were left on our appetite, wanting more protein! Dessert of kenefe and it was crunchy, cheesy and not too sweet! I recommend Sü to friends!"

  • "Personnel courtois et sympathique. Nourriture savoureuse, moderne et bien présentée. Décoration simple et élégante. Cellier avec belle variété de vins, certains d'importation privée. Ambiance détendue, mais un peu bruyant lorsque rempli à capacité (~70 pers). Ma fille devait essayer de nouveaux mets internationnaux dans le cadre de ses études en civilisations. Nous avons donc essayé pour la première fois un menu Turc et ce restaurant a été recommandé par des collègues montréalais de cette communauté. Excellent choix ! Sommes allés un vendredi soir pendant 2 heures. Très belle soirée."

  • "A must go in verdun, it's a really nice place, the food is awsome, there is a tasting menu, where you get Mezes and 4 other plate (choix du chef) and a coffee for 65$. for an other 40$ you get 5 glass of wine that match de plate your getting. go there on a date, with friends, familly, for any occasions. it's a must!!!"

  • "Su is an amazing restaurant to try since there aren't a lot of good Turkish restaurants. I had the steak liver and it was perfectly done! My friend had the manti, but it's not the real traditional manti. The traditional turkish manti is not made with wonton dough but a dough that you make by hand which takes a lot of time to do. Hence, I understand why they used the wonton dough instead, but I wasn't expecting that. But, it was still delicious! The künefe (desert) was also a quick version of the real one, but pretty good. I guess I'm just used to what my grandma usually makes. The service was amazing, so nothing to say about that! The waiters explained every dish, we never missed water, our wine glasses were always full! Amazing place!"

  • "Pour ma part c'était ma 2ème fois chez Su, mais pour la plupart de mes amis, nous étions 7, c'était une decouverte. Tout le monde a aimé les plats qu'ils ont choisis. Beaucoup de saveur, bonnes portions. Nous avons partagé les entrées ce qui nous a permis de goûter a plusieurs plats. Seule ombre au tableau était l'ambiance générale un peu froide. Lors de ma 1ère visite le restaurant était plein ce qui donnait beaucoup d'ambiance mais lorsqu'il est vide, le décor est un peu froid. Les lumières led du plafond n'aident peut-être pas... Mais si vous aimez bien manger et découvrir de nouvelles saveurs alors je vous le recommande sans hesitation!"

Truly different (Turkish) food with tastes I hadn't experienced before and all delicious - a word I rarely use. Welcoming staff with extremely attentive, but unobtrusive, service. Dined with friends who are hard to please and they loved it too. We will make this our regular dining-out spot from now on. Where have I been for 7 years?"

  • "Very good food! It's a great place to go if you are in the mood for lamb, I can easily say that it is the best leg of lamb I have ever had,and I work in the industry. On another note my mom has a gluten allergy and they where very accommodating, and knowledgeable our waite told her what she couldn't eat, and switched the bulgar for rice. He also brought out a selction of gluten free crackers."

  • "Excellent Dining experience. We were 8 and they let us have the "discovery menu" even though it was made for 6 and under. Delicious turkish white wines (I didn't know they made good wines??) The menu was inventive, alot of variety and the food fresh. I would go back any time!"

  • "I would have given this restaurant 5 stars if our bill hadn't come out to $240 (tax & tip incl., $53 wine). The food was well prepared, for the most part - lamb chops over-cooked. The wine list should be revamped to include more reasonably priced wines - very few drinkable wines under 50$ Over all this restaurant is overcharging for the location and type of food."

  • "Fortunately we had reserved before Leslie Chesterman wrote a rave review in Saturday's Gazette! The place was very busy, even at 6pm! Yet the service never suffered, quite the contrary: our server was attentive, made good suggestions and gave us good descriptions of the different menu options. We started with the mezze for two: an array of Turkish appetizers, all deliciously presented. We then had the Cornish hen and the lamb that were fantastic. No room for desert but we couldn't resist; I had the yogurt with nuts and honey, an absolute treat! The restaurant was full yet the noise level was quite acceptable. All in all, a perfect experience. Will definitely go back... Often!"

  • "Good food with interesting tastes and variety. The small plates appetisers are delicious and good for sharing. This was our second visit and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. The staff are friendly and helpful in describing the wines and the food choices. The only complaint was the time between courses, likely because the food was being prepared from our order and not microwaved as many other restaurants do. Kudos for the food."
