The bowl was plated with half a quail stuffed with rice, an oyster and andouille sausage and then our server poured the gumbo broth on top. Gumbo was delicious, not over powering in any way. Quail was tender and easily cut with a soup spoon. We then moved on to Sizzling Oysters Revolution and Crab Meat Beignets. The oysters didn't have as much flavor as I was hoping for but were still good. The beignets were to die for, just melt in your mouth amazing. For the main course we ordered the filet and veal chop. The veal chop was so large in size and so tender. Steak was a little over cooked but still full of flavor. The ancillary waiter was unpolished & spoke too familiar with me while my husband was away from table.Appetizers &Pork chop superb. Paneed veal was good, heavy breading, more deep fried. Was brought lovely happy anniversary plate of ice cream filledpastry.Very Nice touch.

As someone who travels weekly to New Orleans, I eat in many of the fine establishments in the city. This was my second visit to R'evolution and once again the food, service and ambience were exceptional. My guests all agreed it was the best meal they have ever had in New Orleans. I absolutely believe this to be one of the best experiences I have had. We had professional, easy, correct and informative service from our waiter Zachary. The drinks from the bar were delicious. The wine list is huge, but extremely well thought out and laded with ready to drink stunning wines to choose from. The food was top notch with one of the best single dishes my wife has ever had. The service could not have been more attentive. The appetizers were shows toppers- get the sizzling oysters. Everyone's meal was gorgeous and delicious. My friend's pork chop was the best I've ever tasted. Beignets melted, and the madeleines to close the meal were light and clean. Trypich of Quail was fantastic - each offering tasting perfectly balanced unto itself. My partner and I shared two desserts, one chocolate and one fruit. I am not the chocolate lover of the two of us, but it was melt in your mouth pure chocolate heaven. I can't wait to go there again and would recommend it to anyone! And the tables are spaced apart, whioh is unusual to me coming from New York where the tables are 2 inches apart. They had a few original quirky details that added a touch of "hipness". Service was great, funny without being overbearing. The food was better than very good; not quite blowing my doors off.
