The waitress did a great job of explaining the local favorites and newer creations. If you are hungry, I would suggest the "All-U-Can Eat Dinner Special as it would be a more cost effective approach than a series of single orders.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMTop Choice Madison Restaurant.Restaurant Muramoto is my favorite Madison restaurant, and every time I go there I'm reminded of why. Even though I live in Washington, DC now, I always make sure to get here when I am in town. The sushi is amazing, and there are a lot of unique specialty rolls. You can tell the fish is very fresh, and the hot dishes are cooked perfectly. My companions had the scallop dish and the black cod dish, and both were lovely. It's so hard to find a restaurant that doesn't overcook the scallops! Even my dad enjoyed the food here, and he is a meat and potatoes guy. They have a great specialty drink menu, too, although I always get the Bentzi's Arielle, which is named after my late graduate school adviser and his wife. I like the ambience. It is the number one place I take guests and family from out of town , as well as friends from in town , They are always impressed.
