Restaurant LemeacNever disappoints, excellent foodThe chef Richard Bastien's reputation precedes him and he has been a pioneer in showcasing local products and adapting them in French classic. The salmon tartar with truffle oil is a obviously a signature dish as well as the smoked salmon which their own production and can be bought to go. Other classics include the braised short rib, the duck confit or the scallops with mujold caviar and potatoes. One cannot go without sampling their incredible pain perdu for dessert that is easily shared as the portion is huge. The sticky toffee banana pudding as also a must and the wine list can accommodate any wallet size. Great experience and they also have a brunch formula on the weekend that is interesting as well as a less expensive menu after 22h.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMBrunch at LemeacService was outstanding, every request was fulfilled with a smile. The food was delicious, my husband had the tartelette which was outstanding, our guests had the nordique plate and said the gravalax was the best they had ever had. I had the fruit and cheese plate with the homemade donuts (fluffy and not too sweet), my only complaint was there was only 1 cheese on the plate which was a cream cheese that was practically tasteless. I was expecting a variety of good Quebec cheeses.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was a very memorablyThis was a very memorably experience. The food was exquisite and rich in flavor. Can't wait to go back!6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service and food.Would definitely recommend to others and will return next time in Montreal.

I will definitly come back to try more dishes from the menu and need to try the Pain Perdu. I did not have the chance to order a desert because I was so full.
The service was impecable and our waiter was great!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMMontrealOne of the top 10 in Montreal. Not to be missed!!!! Reservation recommended but not mandatoty5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways very goodBeen going to Lemeac for a decade. Consistency, quality, great service. Always! Sitting at the bar or the terrace, service is always tops. Typical French Brasserie style. Best competitor to L'Express. Better in my mind.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistantI have had the pleasure of dining at LeMeac for lunch many times. I am impressed with the quality, preparation, flavour, and consistency of the food. I was never disappointed.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, but nothing specialI recall the food being quite good, nothing that blows your mind though. Your typical french restaurant (though I have to admit the chevre croquette was very good!). I found the prices fair considering the quality of the food. The only problem is that the seating is very tight inside and you almost have to scream to hear yourself talk.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMOn y retourne!Excellente table; dans les top 10 de Montréal. Belle ambiance et service attentionné et professionnel.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMIncredible wine selection;Incredible wine selection; portion sizes that allow you to really enjoy all three courses without feeling either stuffed or underfed at the end; delectable flavours and truly well-put-together dishes; knowledgeable and friendly staff
I had the filet mignon, which was perfectly cooked, tender beef, and topped with a mouth-watering sauce. Pricey, to be sure, but in my opinion well worth it. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to splurge for a fancy occasion!5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMUn classique d'OutremontComme à l'habitude, Lémeac est toujours constant. Très bon, excellent service, belle carte des vins et une ambiance très outremontoise.
Je le recommande!1/4/2013 12:00:00 AMI've had brunch (and dinner)I've had brunch (and dinner) here many times. I have never been disappointed. Their brunch tartellete au chèvre is my favorite. The French toast is a decadent treat if you want to spoil yourself!1/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
