Restaurant Guy Savoy - Caesars Palace
Wonderful experience!Guy Savoy menu bring the perfect blend of tradition and innovation. Dining experience at its best with very attentive service.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and wineGuy Savoy was great. The food was innovative (we had the Innovation Menu) and tasted great. They easily made some substitutions for some things my girlfriend didn't care for and were very nice about it. The wine pairings were great. The portions were perfect for a many course meal and I didn't feel overly stuffed at the end. It was certainly pricey, but as a special occasion, it was a great choice. I think the foodies would be happy (we were!) and more traditional eaters could also be happy.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst time at Guy SavoyMy wife and I had the Signature menu and inquired about a flight of wines as it wasn't listed on the menu. The sommelier put one together for $150 each for 9 different, wonderful, and perfect pairings. The menu, bread cart, cheese cart, and dessert carts were all amazing with my favourite dishes being the Peas All Around, Red Mullet, and the Coconut Six Ways. The best thing about this restaurant is the service. Excluding the sommelier, we counted 6 different waiters and every one was professional, personable, and very knowledgeable about the food. No stuffiness at all and we would have been happy if they had sat down and joined us (as long as they paid their own bill! :)
Yes it's expensive but well worth the experience.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGuy Savoy Still Shines!Great dining experience. Our fourth time dining at this super high end restaurant. The cost makes it truly a special occasion, but well worth it. If you dine here, you'll never forget it. Go for one of the prix fix menus. You won't be disappointed.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMIncomparableOne of the mst spectacular meals of our lives! Food was impeccably prepared to a higher standard of quality with amazing untapped flavors I never thought possible. Service was beyond compare, and the staff was incredibly knowledge. The long tenure of the staff speaks mountains for an amazing restaurant.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful meal: creative/innovativeWe're foodies and our bucket list is to try every AAA Five Diamond rated restaurant in the world at least once. We enjoyed the Innovation/Inspiration menu.. We opted for wine pairing which is available although it's not listed on the menu. We were particularly impressed by the enormous wine menu which is presented sitting on its own stand. As expected, the courses were wonderfully different and we always appreciate being treated to flavor combinations that we would not normally think of. The presentation of each course was gorgeous. Perhaps the only minor flaw of the evening was that the wine pairing was a little off for me. Having eaten at Le Cirque more than half a dozen times, I have never been disappointed w their pairings.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMBetter than excellent. The service was the best I have ever experienced on every level, and each dish was exquisite. It is very expensive, but hard to argue about the value.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMExtravagantFood was fabulous but even so, much more expensive than expected. I planned on spending around $250 for just me but when I got the bill is was $439.97! Host did not really explain the menu well but otherwise very attentive staff. However, it seemed a different waiter came with each course....I would have preferred to same person, but not a huge deal. Would go again but only if money to burn......then again it is Vegas!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went to Guy Savoy knowingWe went to Guy Savoy knowing it was expensive but it was even pricier than we had previously thought. Tasting menu started at $260 per person without alcohol and since we weren't hungry, we went with entrees.
Two of us got the sea bass which may have been the best sea bass we've ever had. One got the duck breast and the other got the beef tenderloin. Everyone loved their meal and the service was superb.
Overall, loved it but couldn't afford the tasting menu!4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGood Food, Amazing Service! We really enjoyed our entire experience at Guy Savoy. The service there was truly TOP NOTCH, and the food was delicious. The artichoke/truffle soup was a guilty pleasure, and the desserts were to die for! I got the chocolate sphere, and my partner got the chocolate/hazelnut noir. The bread trolly was fun, and the post-dessert trolly was AMAZING. However, the downside(s) for the evening were (I hate to say it) the entrees. I got the lobster, and my partner got the veal 3 ways. Both were nice, but lacking quite a bit of flavor. They were something you could have ordered at a lot of places. Our time was limited (due to a show), and the staff could not have been more professional in rushing things. Can't say enough good about them!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMLife's PleasuresIf food is a celebration of life, life doesn't get much better than dining at Guy Savoy's restaurant.
Chef Matthew Chartron executes Guy Savoy's food beautifully.
The staff is very subtle in their attentiveness and very knowledgeable when explaining in a simple manner the complexities and subtleties of the
dish you are enjoying. Wine list choices are excellent.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGood but EXPENSIVE!Yes, this is a wonderful restaurant but not sure it's worth the money. We had the preheater dinner for two and one glass of wine, the bill with tip was $360.If that doesn't bother you, go there! It is a gastronomic experience. The Bread Cart is the best, lemon bread, olive bread, chestnut bread, cheese bread, caramelized onion bread and more! They give you little tastings of food compliments of Guy Savoy along with your dinner. If you order a tasting dinner pairing with wines you could easily spend $1000!!!4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMEasily the best restaurantEasily the best restaurant - food & service - in Las Vegas and the U.S. Expensive, but worth every penny. When in Paris and Las Vegas, we always make sure to dine here.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMIn order to truly enjoy thisIn order to truly enjoy this restaurant you should be hungry, not in a hurry and ready to spend a great deal of money!4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThe service was incredibleThe service was incredible and the food was impeccable. I only wish I had more time to experience it all!!4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMdisappointinggood not fabulous. NOT value for money...in this type of restaurant there are usually more surprises. Certainly for a $265 steak. Poulard/Artichoke appetizer was very grey and unappealing. would not return.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMPrices are high, but worthPrices are high, but worth it. It is a true dining experience, great food, service, wine choices, the bread trolley and the dessert trolley! For a French restaurant I was quite surprised by portion sizes - they were very nice sizes.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMvery expensive but such avery expensive but such a treat. Food is works of art with such flavor! presentation outstanding! Upscale without having snobbish air. there were some appetizer treats brought to the table and then a dessert cart with quite an assortment. Don't order a $45 dessert... the cart has so many goodies.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was fantastic...aThe food was fantastic...a true dining experience. And the service was absolutely amazing!3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMPricey but absolutley no regretsOverall great experience. We did the per-theater menu as our budget could not support the full menu price. The service was without question the best I have ever experienced. The food was great, although portions were small, I left full and very satisfied. Ordered wine pairings and they accommodated perfectly without blowing our budget.
The only thing I was not used to was how quiet the restaurant was. We were seated in a room holding four tables. It was so quiet, that I almost felt compelled to talk to the tables next to us. For me the lack of noise of any sort was a little odd. Having said that; this was the first time I dined at such a nice establishment; maybe that is normal.3/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGuy Savoy LV - Fine-dining GemRestaurant Guy Savoy is a great fine-dining venue. While not every course (multi-course tasting menu) was at 100%, most were. The service was outstanding, as was the wine service. Not inexpensive, but a good value, at least to us.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and service. It'sGreat food and service. It's an excellent place in Vegas to get away from the casino and crowds and enjoy a superb dinner3/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
