Just like everything else in Las Vegas it's a show fake and gimmicky. I've heard the original in Paris is unbelievable however if that's the case the vegas location needs a lot of work. $850 dinner for a group of 4. Two $65 bottles of wine. Two appetizers and four main courses. Thee $85 black truffle soup tasted like Campbell's canned soup. The filet mignon and braised beef was good. But not worth $85. I could have gotten the same quality for far less from 100 other restaurants in NYC. As for the $100 veal tasting my brother in law ordered the only memorable part was the veal cheeks. The sweat bread according to him was bland, and the slice of veal chop had the texture of ham and the flavor of cardboard. Save your money and skip it

As a bona fide foodie, thus speaking from vast experience. I believe this is the best French Restaurant in Vegas at this time. No doubt Robuchon and Twist are great too (we ate at Robuchon on Friday) and at times better. But this trip (7/26/14) had no equal. The Innovative tasting menu is the way to go!! And by far, Savoy has the best pricing for Champagnes and Bordeaux.

Well, maybe as often as you can afford it. We had the 13 course meal with wine pairing. Every course was amazing and we particularly liked the unusual creations like "pea spongecake" and the fun effects with cold and heat with many of the courses (particularly the use of dry ice). Elegant, enjoyable, superb service (if you are foodie, interact with the staff - but remember that this is Vegas so the average person who can afford to eat here is more likely than not someone with more money than brains and so the staff keeps it professional but they will open up). We even got a brief visit to the kitchen. There is a special table for two "Krug" table in there that we are going to put on our wish list when we strike it big at the casino!

Tasting menu is beyond your wildest expectations. If you have traveled the world and eaten at places like French Laundry or Joel Robuchon, you should be well rounded enough to appreciate Guy Savoy. Supremely flavorful and amazingly fanciful, every dish sings with expert technique. Atmosphere is not overinflated or stuffy, just the opposite and it is very clear the servers and staff are passionate. Tight service, timing of the dishes were spot-on and sequenced together perfectly. So I would advise you to take your time, soak it all in, and expect a feast of the senses.

Guy Savoy is decadent. You are seated by an attractive french man. The decor is sparse yet still inviting. The first thing that comes to your table is a Champagne cart, filled with everything from good to high end champagne. We picked the prix fix menu with the wine paring. Along with the prix fix menu comes the bread cart. (It is a carb lovers dream) You can either choose the breads you want or you can leave it in their capable hands. (We choose them to do the bread paring) The lemon bread, and olive bread are the best! The entrees are spectacular. There are original plates some of them are so unique. You end with of course a dessert cart. You can pick as many as you want. I encourge you to experance Guy Savoy. It' pricey but We love it

Service was excellent and the food was really good but not exceptional, so we were disappointed. The chef tidbits were excellent and really set us up to expect perfection, but it lost it from there. The foie gras was very good but for $70 I was expecting more than plain pan seared with a slight broth. No special accompaniments to pair with it, which adds a lot to the dish. The veal chop was tough, very chewy, difficult to cut with a steak knife. The sweetbreads were quite tasty, the veal cheek was good. My husband had the artichoke soup, quite good and he did enjoy his Quail. All in all, we expected more for $400+. We have eaten at many "chef-celebrity" restaurants and the Guy Savoy just missed the mark.

The modest tasting menu was more than enough to eat, my wife passed on the deserts and they also had sweets. The beef was excellent, but many of the other courses were a tad disappointing. Not the best French in Vegas, but certainly one of the most expensive. Certainly worth the experience.

This is a true oasis in the Vegas desert area. The food is simply magnificent and is served by knowledgeable, friendly and efficient staff. The wine list is extensive, but perhaps misses the opportunity of some local high end Californian whites. Nonetheless the atmosphere is great and the food incredible. A first class experience indeed. Well done to all!!

Although it is rather expensive, even for a 5 star restaurant, it was worth every penny. The Signature menu was wonderful and the nine courses became 14 or 15 with the amuse bouche and other tasting treats. The bread cart with its array of choices was fun to pair with the different courses. Great meal and dining experience. Hubert Keller even brought a group with him the night that we were there--fun.

This restaurant has great plating and service ware. Everything is really beautiful. The food was inventive, but not to our taste. The value $1000 Signature menu with 1 wine pairing and 2 glasses of lovely champagne just wasn't up there. A nice experience, but would not recommend. Try Joel Rubichon. I have finally convinced my husband to order ala carte and request the wine pairing for the prix fixe for himself. Then, we will all be happy and not waste so much food.

My wife and I had a memorable dinner at Guy Savoy. We had a bit of a rough start after being seated. We were served two amuse bouche courses with only water to drink. Had to flag down a manager to ask for some Champagne to start our dinner. Once that was taken care of the service smoothed out. We splurged on the 9 course chef's tasting menu and the wine pairing. The food preparation was superb as were the flavors. What stood out for us was the wine pairing that featured wines that neither my wife or I had had before. Very nicely chosen to compliment the food flavors. The cheese course was terrific. A very enjoyable evening but pricey. The wine tasting pushed the price up but in the end was worth the expense for the education it provided.

My recommendation is: find a good excuse and just go and enjoy the evening, start to finish. We did the classic tasting menu, and there were absolutely no disappointments. We also saw Chef Guy on the run to the airport - but he took the time to be the perfect host, and was totally funny and cordial. Overall this was food & service perfection. Merci à tous au Restaurant Guy Savoy.

In Las vegas every top resturant claims to be the best and to be honest I was very sceptical. I should not of been, the entire team at the restaurant were gracious and the service sublime. The food was exceptional and considering the effort it takes to make each dish well worth it. This is not a cheap experience to expect to pay big $$$.

Service and ambiance were excellent and the food great but I wasn't totally blown over. I would still highly recommend it though. I enjoy good food, however I wouldn't say I'm a foodie so I wasn't able to totally appreciate the 13-course Innovation-Inspiration Menu. Perhaps it was too innovative for me. I should have opted for the cheaper and what I assumed would have been a simpler 9-course signature menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the bread selection that came in a bread cart.

I felt like every food I put in my mouth had fois grois in it... except the veal chop. My palate is not sophisticated enough to appreciate everything this place has to offer, nor is most people's. And, just for the record, I did not just jump off a turnip truck. Unfortunately the truffle season was literally over two days before we dined, and there was no risotto! The staff was attentive, and fun. Nice environment, though the dining tables could definitely use a facelift. The quail was good. If you are a real foodie, go and enjoy. If not, stick with something a bit more ordinary, as this is extraordinary! Way over my head.

Guy, your team in Vegas (at the Ceasar's) have created one he the best restaurants of all time. I have had the pleasure of eating at some of the worlds best (and most renowned) restaurants and now I count this in the same. I don't even know where to begin. First, let me share a bit about the presentation. French with an american twist - grand but not grandiose. For the bread selection, there was a trolly (yes, I said trolly). With no less than 10 selections (including the traditional petite baguette (several treatments) to bacon and parmesan brioches - my favorite - seaweed loaf. There were three amuse-bouche starters each with immaculate presentation. There were trolly's for everything... Expensive but worth every penny

You know you are going to drop an arm and a leg for what will hopefully be one of the better meals of your life. And truth be told, I can't quibble with the quality or presentation of the food. Every dish was excellent, though my quail came close to being overdone. The portions are surprisingly large, so consider asking for half portions if you want to try a number of dishes off the a la carte menu. My irritations are small but keep nagging at me. First, at the beginning of the meal, the sommelier offers up your choice of about a dozen champagnes by the glass. But $50/glass for a champagne that sells for $85/bottle is on the extreme side. Even more annoying is being charged for water when you are dropping $1,000 for two for a meal...
