We were here for our anniversary, made our reservation on-line and requested a table by the fireplace. They accommodated us very nicely. Service was not rushed. We also had an anniversary card waiting for us on the table with a complimentary $10 gift card. Nice touch! Excellent menu and a pre fixe menu available. Definitely will visit again!

This was our first time here. I was very impressed - from the time we were seated until the time we left. Server, Natalie, was friendly and prompt. Food was delicious. Went for Restaurant Week so there was a limited menu. My Mediterranean Pasta was quite good. Also food came out steaming hot which, to me, is always a mark of a good kitchen.

The changes in the menu were terrific. We enjoyed a great tapas appetizer of toasted pita with several spreads. It was a perfect way to start the meal. I had the Chilean turbot and my husband had the hanger steak. Both were good sized portions and very tasty. We will return.

My husband and I chose this restaurant for our date night. We were warmly greeted at the door and seated right away even though we were about 20 minutes early for the reservation. Service was fast and efficient. Our waitress was friendly and personable. We had the shrimp, calamari, and wedge salad for appetizer and a steak and the brisket grilled cheese for our main courses. All were delicious. The sandwich came with the crispiest fries I've had. My husband wished the wedge salad was bigger. We ordered the coconut bread pudding special and the creme brulee for dessert. The bread pudding was a big dry, but presentation was beautiful. We had a great experience and would definitely go back.

Visited Five Five 2 with friends for a casual dinner and each of us was impressed with the quality of the food and service. Certain dishes are highlighted on the menu as being specialties-of-the-house, and indeed they were. LOVED the Bang Bang Shrimp and deviled eggs. Main courses were all tasteful and very well presented. I'm going back !

This was our second visit to Five Five Two, and it was better than the first time. The manager/host/owner Glenn was extremely friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic. He seemed genuinely interested in our experience and visited our table a few times. Restaurant week menu: Mussels for an app, Turbo for main, and flour-less chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was tasty, although the dessert was a little "muted" in it's flavor. It was my least favorite part of the meal, and made me regret not trying the Blueberry Apple Crumb that my husband had. It was much more delicate and balanced. My husband was less exited about his meal. He had the Kobe Lollipops and short ribs. He said both lacked seasoning. We both felt that for the price, it was good!

This was our first time at this restaurant and it was restaurant week so they had a special menu. They had a a variety of choices and we had the mussels and salad appetizers. They were both very good and large portions. We had short ribs and chicken mains. Both were large portions but not exceptional in taste. The desserts were very good. All in all a lot of food which was good but not great. Very nice service but I do not think I would return.

Once again we found the food at Five Five 2 to be delicious and slightly unique. The seared scallops were very well prepared with just a touch of a sweet sauce. The foid was fine. The service was average. I liked the small rooms. What ruined it for me is when we both ordered tea and they brought 1 pot with one average sized tea bag. I don't think I should have to share my tea bag and end up with a weak cup of tea.

The food was quite good. We were seated right away. Finally a girl came over to take our drink order. We questioned if it was still happy hour and was told yes. We ordered our drinks. Service was very slow. I spoke to the owner and was told they were short staffed. We ordered a second round of drinks that took 20 minutes to get. The bill came and the drinks were regular priced so we quested the bill. The waitress said she would speak to the owner. She came back and told us Happy Hour was only in the bar and she apologized but the owner would not reduce the price of the drinks. He claimed it was written all over. We never really got into the bar so we never saw the sign yet he would not bend. We will never go there again nor our friends.

The Deviled Egg appetizer was fantastic! If you don't want dinner, They also have great bar area with live music! You can get tapas & beer/wine/specialty drinks at the bar. Outdoor seating is fun. Ample wine list and serves are knowledgable on menu as well as very helpful in selecting a wine. We had a MAlbec that was delicious!

My wife and I were at different events and running late. We chose Five.Five 2 as it was close to home and still open. The food was fair. There appeared to be specials on the menu that weren't mentioned to us, that my wife would have preferred. The effort didn't seem to be there.

My visit to 552 was a disappointment, started out with an Apple Martini, OK, The St. James Salad was awash in Vinaigrette, (lighten up guys) should have asked for the dressing on the side. Main Course was a pork tenderloin " Pinwheel " stuffed with Mozzarela cheese and I think Spinach, Bland and Tasteless, my partners Chilean Tourbot was OK, we skipped the lackluster dessert menu. I had high expectations, but this place tries to bring a little bit of New York City to the suburbs but it just doesn't work.

We have eaten here before and the food and service was excellent so we thought we would go back again, unfortunately we had a totally different experience this time. Everyone was extremely nice however this time the food and service were just average. This restaurant can get pricey unless you take advantage of their pre-fixe which we did not so we were disappointed when we received a large bill for average food. We will probably give this restaurant one more try because it is close to home and we like to support local businesses, however at $150 for two with only one drink a piece and a shared salad the food and service should have been better.

We arrived early and sat at the bar. The bar counter was sticky with glass ring stains to go along with the dirty seat cushions on each bar stool. The server was nice enough, but the chard was served way too cold. The price per glass was ok. After being seated, the waitress did not know the menu. When it was time for dessert, she brought the desserts and never asked if we wanted coffee. My wife informed her she would like coffee and the waitress never asked if I would like coffee. I never asked and finished off dinner with a glass of water. The four small plates we ordered were fair at best in both quanity and quality. We tried the restaurant because we had a groupon deal and will not return.

Had obtained a groupon to 552. Looked like a nice place, had a decent menu, wanted to try somewhere new. The staff was nice, the ambiance was beautiful. My only complaint was the small portion for the price. My mother got a chicken dish which consisted of a grilled piece of chicken and a VERY small salad. The dish was a lot less impressive than how it presented itself on the menu. I got the seared tuna special but it was alright, nothing special. We weren't very impressed with the meal, the prices didn't warrant it in my opinion, we probably will not return.

Reservation for 12:30 pm (lunch) on Sunday, arrived 10 minutes early, there was no receptionist nor any other customer. We had to wait for 5 minutes before someone from the kitchen came to the front to seat us. Menu was limited. We ordered two appetizers (calamari and slider) and two fish dishes (Chilean turbot and Scottish salmon). Bok choy was replaced with broccoli without warning . My husband ordered rice to go with turbot, but had polenta on his plate instead. The waitress just said "the chef sometimes make mistakes with the order". We are the only customers in the restaurant! Turbot lacks proper seasoning, sliders are dry. All in all, very poor services and below average food quality, overpriced. Will not go back.

Went on a Saturday night, place was pack and they had one server on with a helper, who could not really help. It was restaurant week, so the regular menu was cut back, but they had only four entrees. Two fish, chicken parmesan( that u can get in any pizzeria at half the price.) And a pasta dish. We looked at the menu on-line and was very disappointed. We asked questions to the server about the fish and she was very nice but clueless. Also when we first got there we stood at the front door and waited over ten minutes for someone to greet us. There was a hostess and I guess the owner, but the just seemed like they didn't care. The nicest person we spoke to was the valet. For these reasons and their prices we will not return.

I've passed this restaurant many times by day, nothing much to notice but the sign out front. We decided to try it for restaurant week. The place was jumping, there was some live music and the bar was very busy. Since we booked a reservation though Open Table the wait was minimal but if you didn't have a reservation forget it. The owner, I'll assume, was busily helping to seat people and he was eager to talk about the menu and made a couple of suggestions as well. The food was excellent and we look forward to a return visit.
