Restaurant Europahidden treasureA small review in the paper prompted us to try Europa. Hidden in a retail strip plaza, the eastern European restaurant has never failed to please. You can choose three entrees which is shared by everyone,and its plenty it also includes ten different appetizer. Generous selection of infused vodkas. You can always tell the difference between a restaurant with a real chef, and one where they are opening cans and heating in the microwave. This restaurant has a real chef.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMNot Just Another Tuesday NightI just started seeing a girl and wanted to take her somewhere nice, but a place that wouldn't break the bank. I absolutely found this in Europa. The waiter was friendly, and attentive. The tilapia was both delicious, and sizable. She commented on the ambiance and how soft and inviting it was. I had to agree in kind. Being a Russian/East European themed place vodka seemed to be a big deal there. As a brown liquor guy, I had no interest in such, buy did enjoy some red wine as did she. While there a young jazz-fusion group preformed. It wasn't to loud, and they did well. Made me think of my days as a young jazz drummer. Overall a very pleasant experience. We are vegetarians, and were delighted to see the menu had symbols to indicate which items were vegetarian. They also made note of gluten free items. Although their vegetarian options are limited to only 3 entrees and a handful of appetizers/salads, we were very impressed with the quality of the food and the presentation, and would come back. We went on a Sunday night - they currently have a three piece band playing every Sunday evening. The music was a bit loud, making it difficult to hear normal conversation, but created a fun and energetic atmosphere. Good portuins and we never had to wait for service. We had a large group of people, therefore a variety of dishes were ordered . And I will say that one dish looked beter then the next.
