The shrimp with the grits and the quiche were both tasty dishes. I do think its weird that they serve water with no ice. The service was just right. Our waiter was very knowlagable of the menu. It's always top notch. Our only complaint was that some of our favorites from other restaurants where he was chef are no longer available. My husband dined here for our 22nd anniversary and were made to feel very VIP. The chef greeted us at our table and even suggested his recommendations for the seafood that night. I had the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly and paired with the duck fat fries, well, lets just say I was in heaven. My husband had the scallops and they were equally as good. Researched restaurants in the Monroe area and found Restaurant Cotton. After reading several positive reviews, we decided to make the 90 mile trek to Monroe. OH MY! SO glad we did. The food was AMAZING!....Being from the "North" we are not familiar with shrimp and grits, but I had heard they were fabulous, and I wasn't disappointed!...Bangers and Mash, and the Creme Brulee' Pudding was something you have to eat, no matter how full you might be.
