RESTAURANT at Sunset MarquisMuch Needed OasisThis was my wife's first visit to the L.A. area and after taking her to some of the finest that West Hollywood/Beverly Hills had to offer we landed at the Sumset Marquis on Friday.
This place is our favorite - HANDS DOWN!
Being in the music business, the last place I wanted to be was dinner at a "Rock n Roll Hotel" during my brief 4 day vacation.
But the very tranquil atmosphere in the middle of the West Hollywood craziness, coupled with the perfectly created and presented Chilean sea bass and beautiful patio dining experience was just what the doctor ordered.
The place was so intimate that the celebs on hand were obviously as relaxed and carefree as we were.

My only observation of critique would be that if the wait staff observes the patrons in a spirited story, don't stand there waiting to deliver the news of the specials..it breaks the flow and makes one feel hurried..(as with our waiter)
