Special Events & Promotions: The Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch is an ideal location for private dining and special events. The restaurant can accommodate private groups depending on the size and scope of the event, based on availability. Guests are welcome to order from a pre-set banquet menu or work directly with a chef on faculty to design a unique menu for your event. Based on seasonality, menus may feature items from the culinary garden or other Cal Poly Pomona-grown products. Reservations and a banquet contract are required for all special events.

The Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch is a student-operated restaurant, serving both lunch and dinner. The restaurant is part of the… Hospitality Management curriculum at The Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona. In the restaurant, students rotate weekly through various positions, including management, in order to learn all aspects of a hospitality operation. Some of the finest professionals in the industry facilitate student learning. The faculty team includes Chef Ernie Briones, Lesley Butler, Barbara Jean Bruin and Chef Scott Rudolph.Continued

"Dining at the Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch is a special and unique treat. Not only does the restaurant provide students with hands-on experience in all aspects of restaurant work, but the food and setting are wonderful in and of themselves. The students are attentive and helpful as they work through the various stations of the restaurant during their course of study. Food is delicious and can be seen being prepared through the large windows that line the lobby. Fun to be there again."

"Charming restaurant nestled in the hills of Cal State Pomona College. The students do all the work from cooking to waiting tables. Delightful setting and good ambiance. It was a nice surprise and an enjoyable meal."

"The is a restaurant that is staffed by the students and staff of the Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona. It is clear from the moment you walk in the door they are excited to be there and want you to have an "A" experience. The menu is price fixed. I have been here several times and always wish I was not geographically challenged so I could go here more often. On this trip we found out that they now serve wines made with grapes grown on campus. Everything was very good."

"This restaurant is completely run by Hotel and Restaurant Management students at Cal Poly Pomona's Collins College of Hospitality Management as a culmination project to years of training for the experience. They create the menu, purchase the ingredients, act as hostess, server, chef, etc. There are two groups: lunch and dinner. We had an excellent dinner and I have reservations for lunch this Wednesday."
