We… specialize in Bacon, made here on premise from Virginia Heritage Hogs. The Travel Channel included us on an episode of "Food Paradise-Bacon" this past fall focusing on our Annual Week of Bacon in the Fall and our monthly pig roasts in the Spring/Summer (3rd Thursday of the month during the season) We offer 25 wines by the glass and over 80 different beers from around the world. "The food and wine list here were very good, as well as their outdoor seating. I had the pulled duck sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was very kind and attentive without hovering. My only complaint about the service was when I asked for a new glass of wine. A couple of bugs had fallen into my freshly filled glass and when I brought this to the attention of our waiter I expected a fresh glass to compensate. Instead I received an empty glass. I've had this happen before at other restaurants and they've always brought a new glass of wine so I was very surprised by the empty. When we brought this up with another staff member he explained that the server was new, under 21, and that was it. I'd go back but probably eat indoors."

"If you like bacon (and let's face it, who doesn't?), then this is the place for you. They make their bacon in-house and use it even in places you wouldn't expect. They had an oyster festival when we stopped in, so we split several oyster appetizers and an entree. The oysters were great, especially with the bacon jam that they provided. Our entree was a little rich (bacon-wrapped pork loin with cornbread stuffing and brussel sprouts) and after the oysters, we couldn't finish it even between two people, but it made a great lunch the next day. Beer list was good but not particularly notable. It was a late reservation on a Sunday night, so the restaurant was quiet, but I could imagine it being quite loud during dinner rush."

"The food was so-so. But they have a great Thursday happy hour--it's bacon themed! Love their bar food, and the bar has a good ambiance. We've only had dinner here once, and I wouldn't recommend it given the price. However, the drinks and bar food are very reliable."

"We found Restaurant 3 after watching Travel Channel's Food Paradise. We loved everything. I had the Chicken and Waffles and husband had the Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf. The servings were huge BUT we didn't take any boxes home as we cleaned the plates. Will come back for more."

"This is one of the more underrated Clarendon restaurants. I went about three years ago and didn't like it very much, but their newer menu is great. I love their bacon! The only downside is that it is a little pricey for what you get, but it is Clarendon afterall."
