"The food is excellent, unusual and very well prepared. Our only complaint was that they did not honor the 30% discount and I'm still not sure why. They said it was on a saturday but was never notified that the opentable reservation had any limitation as to days."

"Smack in the middle of a strip center in the West LA Little Tokyo (NOT the big one downtown), 2117 offers very tasty food. The service was quite slow, though, and we had to flag down servers every time we wanted to do anything (order, pay, etc.). It's fun to go stroll around the other Japanese shops after, including the Boba Tea cafe two doors down."

"Located in a strip mall. Only 2 tables on a Thursday night! Food was not really good. We had the Yukon gold potatoes with truffle salt-these were really good as an appetiser. The meatloaf was not very good and was swimming in gravy, small portion of mashed potatoes and vegetables. Service was excellent, they were eager to please."

"Reliably well prepared fusion of Mediterranean dishes prepared in a Japanese style. A good choice for a quiet dinner served in a very pleasant atmosphere notwithstanding the strip mall location and predominance of sushi places in the neighborhood. Wines match the inventive dishes at very reasonable prices."
