Excellent Food & Service
Excellent service, seek out Genesis she was a great waitress. It's just starting but I know that this will become a hotspot in Weho!!

TELL TELL TELL
I just loved this place. We had a bachelorette party at Dont Tell Mama and it was a blast. The waitress was so attentive, our drinks never empty and the food was amazing. We all had something different of the menu but everything was perfect. Loved hearing all the showtunes and the performers (bartenders) really need to be stars. They were fantastic especially loved it when they got up on the catwalk above our seats.

Piano bar with a plus
Surprisingly good food in a bar-like atmosphere with great entertainment. Who could ask for more.

Ryan Black's 88s on Wednesday night
Went for new Broadway night on Wednesdays and it was INCREDIBLE!! Fantastic show, good dinner and no cover charge! It was a perfect night in LA!

Wednesday Broadway Night
Went for Ryan Black's 88's Cabaret! The show was awesome, the food and staff terrific! Not to be missed, nothing like it in LA!

Waiters sang to me!
My friends and I came for a birthday party, and Don't Tell Mama host was very accommodating. We had delicious Sweet & Spicy Spring Rolls, Bianca Pizza, and I really enjoyed my Mushroom Tagliatelle. It was fun to have the Open Mic, and got a kick out of the talented waiters singing to me and my friends.

So much fun!
We went to DTM for a friend's birthday not knowing what to expect. The atmosphere was great, very NY feeling. The piano player... I think his name was Mark (we went on a Tuesday) was awesome! He knew every song, was super friendly, could play any request and created a warm and inviting experience. The female bartender was also amazing, she was a phenomenal singer and very friendly. She sang our friend happy birthday and brought us free jell-o shots! It's a piano bar so it's loud, don't go there if you want to have a long meaningful conversation. But it's a great place to go with friends, fun, lively and interactive. The food is so so but you don't really go for the dining. Awesome spot!

Music, Fun, and Dinner!
After hearing that the award winning songwriter Diane Warren dropped by this restaurant, I wanted to find out what all the fuss was about. The piano bar so different from anything we have seen in Cali. Don't Tell Mama is the adult version of Johnny Rockets, having your waiters and waitresses sing songs for you….plus you get alcohol! Food and drinks were good, and my girlfriend and I really liked the show. It was refreshing to hear new music from new bands.

Throwing my friend’s Bachelorette party on a weeknight really was a great idea. We had a whole night of events planned around the town, but started off with dinner at Don’t Tell Mama. The girls liked the food, and were raving about the Young Kale Salad & the Demi Chicken Breast. After a few tequilas, all the girls were in line for Open Mic night, singing our favorite Broadway show tunes!

One of the things that stood
One of the things that stood out was I was looking forward to tasting their lobster mac 'n cheese dish, but I was informed they were out. It's unfortunate, but it didn't destroy my night. So many talented people sang. The layout is great and plenty of room, unlike some other piano bars I've been to. The staff is extremely professional and qualify for any fine dining restaurant with their level of service.
I had the salmon and it was pretty amazing. Great recipe and compliments to the chef. Must have been an impressive lobster mac 'n cheese if they ran out. Very helpful staff though from the moment I walked in to when I left. The selected singers put rich layer of ambiance in the evening. And the food prices were reasonable and realistic

Great place to go. Every Tuesday
Great place to go. Every Tuesday there are bands that play as well as open mic. The bartenders all sing. Vist this place
if you are looking for a fun time to have at dinner. Place stays open late everynight. Very good food menu, will be satisfied.

For something different
Great restaurant! Piano bar type place with the servers taking the mic throughout the evening. They cover a variety of genres and the performers are GOOD singers. Good food but can be noisy--hard to carry on a conversation. Nice to have something different in Weho.

Our server was fantastic.
Our server was fantastic. She was so attentive. The other waitstaff seemed to be nice, as well. We sat outside because the singing inside made it difficult to talk to one another...but it was a fun distraction every once in a while to hear someone singing a familiar song. Macaroni and cheese was very good and highly recommended!

Jazz Music and Brunch combo
My friends and I always get-together for Sunday Brunch once a month, and this month we decided to eat at Don’t Tell Mama. I have to say we were very impressed with not only the service, which our waitress was so friendly but they had a live Jazz music concert going on. It was a real treat along with the tasty Omelettes I tried from my buddy. I had Mama’s Buttermilk Pancakes, and Nutella Crepes for dessert. It was filling and I plan on coming back.

Fabulous!! Food...Not So Fabulous.
Great place for Soulful Sundays Open Mike!! The entertainment is great...and the drinks are great!! But unfortunately the food is horrible. Last Sunday was our 3rd time there, and given our 2 prior experiences with the food, we ate at home before going to the restaurant. If the food was better, it would be an all around great place to go on Sunday evenings. I've placed my email address below, but would appreciate it if you would kindy NOT SHARE my info with any third party. Thanks!

Weeknight Escape For Fun
Something about the name of the restaurant hooked me in. MAMA really impressed me with their New American cuisine. You eat good food (especially Mama’s Salad and Risotto Balls), well priced, and sing show tunes. Living in WeHo, it’s really hard to find a bar/restaurant that has live music every night… so this is my new after-work spot.

My Birthday Bash
The service was great. The show was awesome. Perfect place for anyone looking to have a fun dinner with a show.

Cabaret in L.A.
"Don't Tell Mama' in West Hollywood hosts a show you don't want to miss. I found it quite entertaining and lively. It's Cabaret in LA after all, what's not to like. A special menu of gourmet bites and inventive cocktails is provided by Joey Santos-a must try. The Emcee, Jason, with a unique humor of his own, introduces each act from a diverse array of performers featuring music, song, comedy, and drama in true artistic form. The venue itself, mostly dimly lit, is conducive for romance, provided you reserve a booth early with OpenTable, or, opt to sit at a table near the stage for a possible impromptu exchange with a performer. Have fun and enjoy the show!

My waitress was Mary Jane. She went by Jane. And I wanted to call her MJ. She was so friendly and fun to be around. She was on top of it the entire night and always made sure we were doing ok. She was quick to let us order nd quick bringing our drinks back. I had such a great time watching the singers and feeling the fun energy in the room. Unfortunately I didn't eat this time but I will be back to eat soon. The meatballs looked amazing!

Keith Borden & Soulful Sundays is..
Off the chain!!! We love coming in every other Sunday, and can't think of anything better to do on our Sunday evenings. Hopefully Don't Tell Mama continues to allow Keith and friends to host this event. Piano player, Richard, is just amazing.
The chef needs quite a bit of work on the food...it's just not that good, so we always end up ordering the same, safe, appetizer with our drinks. But the show pretty much makes up for the "ok" food.
Keep up the good work!

Broadway comes to L.A.!
If you're a Broadway lover like me, Mama's is the #1 restaurant in L.A. Their cocktail list is Broadway-inspired, and Sondheim's "Broadway Baby" drink is absolutely fabulous! The open mic and cabaret shows are fantastic, and this restaurant has no end of great singers!

Great way to enjoy Sunday
Outstanding live performances, fun, energetic crowd and an inviting and personable staff.

we had thanksgiving dinner here. butternut squash bisque was very good. turkey was tender, but cornbread was too dry. good sweet potatoes. it was early in the evening (before the shows) so it was quiet. nice recordings of American standards played while dining. we'd like to return for the "Broadway Brunch".

This restaurant wakes you up
After a long day at the office, my buddy and I went out for a nice walk on Santa Monica Blvd, and ended up at Don’t Tell Mama for dinner and drinks. The pre-fixe menu had good dishes to choose from including the Dijon Marinated Chicken with Mashed Potatoes. We really enjoyed the Rocky Road Brownie for dessert. Because the servers and performers on stage were very lively and fun to watch, it made the end of my day a lot more relaxed and enjoyable.
