Best Indian food eastside
one of the best Indian food in Seattle area, One of the best Daal Makhani, Palak Paneer. Naan breads are fantastic, authentic and delicious. I highly recommend this place if you have not tried this Indian restaurant.

Outstanding depth of flavors
I highly recommend Moksha. Overall, the food is excellent. The depth and complexity of flavors is better than other Indian restaurants on the Eastside. It's a little pricey...for a party of 4 adults we shared 2 appetizers, 4 entrees, 2 orders rice, 3 orders of naan (only needed 2 naan) and 4 non- alcoholic beverages and cost was $35pp. Only disappointment was the chicken skewer appetizer which was a very small amount for the price. The entrees though, are hearty in portion size. Service was pleasant and the owner was circulating in the dining room checking on her diners.

Gourmet Indian cuisine
One of the fallbacks of the Bellevue-Redmond area was the lack of decent Indian food joints. There are a scatterred few, but simply substandard. Moksha has brought great Indian food and a classy ambience together. When my clients and friends want to taste Indian food, I no longer have wrinkles on my forehead. Thank you Moksha for helping me remember India!

We love Moksha (4th dinner
We love Moksha (4th dinner visit)! The menu choices are well rounded and offer varieties of highest quality meats & produce. Delicious food combined with friendly staff and dreamy ambiance make this a winning choice. Everything is a la carte, so prices add up, but experience & location make up for it.

I typically do not typically review restaurants, however this needs special mention. The food and the ambience were outstanding. The greater Seattle area needed an upscale Indian restaurant and Moksha fits the bill - The experience was similar to Rasika in Washington DC. We ordered the Thali lunch and a few drinks - Lamb Karakuri and Spinach cheese both of them were excellent. I would recommend this place highly.
Note: This is not a buffet place, food is made to order. I love it.

Fantastic experience and I
Fantastic experience and I love the fact that the noice doesn't ecco and it is easy to have conversations. We had a business dinner, so that was important. Everything we ordered tasted great.

The food was tasty but spicy
The food was tasty but spicy dishes were not really that spicy which actually worked out to my advantage, but it could be a problem with some people. The service wasn't that great though. Also I understand Naan having a price and the price wasn't bad for the portion since it was easily enough for 2. But jasmine rice is also not free which looks a bit odd. I am guessing they wanted to push people to buy Naan bread instead.

Good food, great naan
I normally avoid breads but this naan was delicious. I'm a huge fan of garlic. The more the better. And there was a great amount in the naan. The only recommendation would be more butter or at least have it on the side. Same with salt.

Great Indian Restaurant!
Since moving from the UK 3 years ago, my search for a really good Indian restaurant this side of the Atlantic had yielded 1 result, and that was 150 miles away in Vancouver B.C - not exactly convenient for a evening out. This has all changed since visiting Moksha! Superb food, really good intense flavors, with just the right levels of spices. Finally I have a good Indian restaurant to go to, close to Seattle! Thanks Moksha!

Great Indian/better service
Our second time at Moksha and the food was great. Service was vastly improved from our previous experience but that was very shortly after they opened. We like to go between lunch and dinner for a relaxed and more quiet atmosphere. The restaurant matches up great service with good food and now, excellent service.

It was our second time going there for a date and both where wonderful experiences! The food always comes out quickly and we are never dissatisfied. We usually have the potato samosas as an appetizer and they are simply outstanding. Our waitress was very nice and always checked on us. Seemed very on top of it. The curry was so good, the perfect amount of spice.
The only downside was how quiet the restaurant was. Which may seem nice to some but I tend to like louder places. That may just be a personal ideal though. Overall a great night!

Great New Indian Rest in Bellevue
Moksha a great new option for Indian food in Bellevue - the decor is contemporary / retro - open and fun - with a super attentive young wait staff. The food is excellent - great selection of Indian favorites - including good vegitarian options - the dishes we had were spiced super well. We did not check it out but they appear to have a full bar as well.

Best curry house in Seattle?
At last - a curry house with great food, great ambience, and decent service. A lamb curry dish that is maybe the best I have had in the US in 25 years = and that from a Scotsman who grew up on curry in Glasgow ! A high energy environment, and a positive sign in that lots of local indian community members frequent Moksha - showing that the spices/ flavors appeal to the expat indian community. Decent service - I wouldnt call out the waiters as " stars" . They are young, and attentive, but most of them are not Indian and so I know they know not that much about Indian food - let's face it , most Americans have not spent 40 years eating Indian food. but the service is good enough - usually prompt. I hope this place holds its standards high.

great food and good price
Newer Indian restaurant on Bellevue Way across from Lincoln Square. Flavors were excellent. Chicken Tikka Masala made with breast meat. Better quality than most Indian. Great ambiance. I will be back.

wonderful just wiondewrful
this new find was so great that I have already personally recommended it to people at my work. If the food is great i will travel to it given any distance, and i would definitely go back to Bellevue just to eat at this restaurant again.
the service was top notch, the decor was simply amazing. i love the vibe that the owners have created with the layout of the space. they were given a shoe box shaped space and turned it into something wonderful.

Next Level of Fine Indian Cuisine
The classics made better. The kitchen honors the classic with modern presentations, high quality ingredients and a drink menu that perfectly complements the deliciously spicy food. Food can be tailored to more or less spice. The ambiance was a balance between large, round open tables for groups throughout the middle, and smaller tables in dimmer lighting around the perimeter. Dining is in the back, past the bar.

A great new find
This was my first experience with Moksha. The food was both artistic and delicious. Clearly the kitchen considers more than just fine food preparation. The meal was planned to be a visual feast. The environment captures the imagination with a suggestion of India rather than the traditional Indian visuals. The atmosphere is set through lighting, gossamer panels and the right hints of color. I like this place. A lot.

Great alternative to the usual
Finally a good Indian food restaurant in the Bellevue Square area! The butter chicken was delicious. My friend liked the pan-roasted baby eggplant, but it was a little too spicy for my taste. The service was excellent and friendly. The surroundings were exotic and fun; good for groups and famly.

The waitress was very attentive as well as everyone else who works there. The food comes out pretty quickly. The taste is amazing! Very good food. Prices reasonable. Would definitely recommend! Bon Appetite!

great Indian food
absolutely loved it, one of the good Indian restaurants in Seattle area, especially eastside.

A+ Food, C+ environment
Most important, the food is amazing and comes out of the kitchen expediently. However, the ambience, while beautifully decorated, is too noisy, perhaps due to the ceiling height and cement floors. The servers weren't quite at the same level the rest of the place suggested (dropping utensils, reaching in front of me at the table, not as attentive as I would have liked). Overall, however, I was pleased and will visit again.

Don't miss Moksha!
This is one of the best Indian Cuisine experiences we've ever had and extremely reasonably priced! Wine, apps, entree for two for $60 in Bellevue? Wow!! Also, outstanding service! Thank you!!!

amazing food, service, ambiance.
Dined here for girls night out last week. Perhaps the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Fresh, flavorful, beautiful and creative variety. Super attentive service in a beautiful atmosphere. Friendly bartender who personally came to check on our drinks! Who can ask for more!
