My husband and I went on a Wednesday night for dinner. The food was divine, service was excellent. We highly recommend.

We had brunch on Easter Sunday. It was raining, which means that the outdoor tables that had been reserved were unavailable and all those people needed to be seated indoors along with all the others who had reserved. The staff was very busy and clearly working hard to keep everyone seated, happy, and fed. While we did have a moderate (not awful) wait for our food, the staff apologized and checked on us frequently. It was hard to be frustrated with them! The food as always was great...hard to believe the "Healthy Breakfast", which looks so bland on the menu, could be so yummy. It's a favorite spot of my husband's and mine; a busy rainy morning won't keep us away.

Had a great time there. Came for Saturday breakfast with a large (6) group of family and sat outside on the patio. Great ambience, excellent service, and the food was outstanding. Endless Mimosas is the hot tip! We will definitely be returning.

Gastronomie et service supérieur!
Loved this place for it's tasty menu and exceptional service. Authentically French in every way: gastronomie, service, ambiance. The outdoor patio has a lovely view of gardens & historic buildings across the street. The interior has a warm, casual French flair without being pretentious or trying too hard. The seafood risotto was delicious (and copious), and Julia Child couldn't have created a better beef bourguignon. The baby beet salad with citrus dressing, fresh cilantro and goat cheese mousse was amazing (and creative). I appreciated the fresh whipped cream on my "create your own" Nutella crepe, which was huge. Staff was French, friendly, ambitious and hilarious. For birthdays, they bring you a dessert with spectacular fireworks!

A New Gem In Santa Barbara
Situated across from the sunken gardens of the SB City Hall, this new french restaurant is indeed a gem. We stopped for brunch on a Saturday morning, and then for dinner. In both instances the food was outstanding and our servers were great. Attentive without being intrusive.
At dinner we ordered risottos. One was with seafood and a saffron sauce. The other with diced filet mignon and wild mushroom sauce. The presentation was beyond outstanding. Again our servers were attentive, helpful but unobtrusive, and got us to the theater on time without feeling rushed. Kudos to this new 'gem'

I went the The French Table on Mother's Day 2013 with six in my party. Two of us ordered crepes, two ordered Ceasar's salad, one ordered a burger, and one ordered pasta. The portions were much bigger than I expected on all items. The crepes were whole wheat, which was surprising to me, and thicker than any crepes I had had prior. The burger meat seemed too small for the size of the bun. Very tasty food overall.

Fondue after la diable
A fine meal can be enjoyed in the early summer evening at The French Table. Excellent food and atmosphere combine for a memorable experience. The friendly staff are helpful and accomodating to ensure the best possible meal.

We chose to dine here before the outdoor movie screening at the Sunken Gardens across the street. It made for a very fun, very Santa Barbara evening. The food was delicious and reasonably priced and the service was delightful.

Perfect for a celebration
Had my wife and daughters there for dinner on a Friday night, and based upon some of the reviews, was worries about the noise and staff attention... Well couldn't be more wrong, the staff were attentive, the food was well presented, met the expectations for the price, and the noise was not bad at all. It certainly wasn't a quiet bistro, but definitely not a raucous pub-grub place... I'd go there again, for sure!!!

Unique crepes in a French bistro
I've been to this relatively new French bistro-style restaurant twice. Both times I ordered a stuffed crepe (Farmer and Vegetarian), which comes with a lightly tossed green salad. Both were delicious! Others at my table ordered the chicken burger with pommes frites (said it was delicious), the steak crepe, and a Caprese salad. Everything was great, except my friend who ordered the salad expected it to be larger. The waiter was politely concerned about this and asked her twice if he could bring her anything else. This restaurant has a big front porch with seating, plus a terrace along the sidewalk. It overlooks the beautiful grounds of the Santa Barbara courthouse: the most romantic view in town. I look forward to going back for dinner.

We drove up from Los Angeles on a day trip to Santa Barbara and had lunch at TFT. We had a great experience sitting on their beautiful porch/patio dining area, sipping cool drinks and indulging in the delicious cheese plate and entrees. It was quite for a Saturday, with just a few other small groups, but business was steady. I imagine this place gets busier on Sundays for brunch and for dinner service. The food was very good, a great mix of healthy and fresh with classic French dishes. My husband and I are vegetarians and we had many options to choose from. They had a great drink list of French classics and beer and wine from France as well as a few other basics. My husband tried a new kind of beer from France and loved it.

We had our first Dinner Club
We had our first Dinner Club this month at TFT. With a cute patio like that I knew it couldn't go too wrong. Service was great, and we each got a different item on the menu that everyone seemed to enjoy. The $5 drinks kept us ordering more. The SBDinnerClub goes to one new restaurant per month. So as we may not be returning as a group, I know I, and probably a few others will be returning on our own. Thank you!

A solid choice in Santa Barbara
The French Table offers a moderately priced menu and very good quality food. You get a view of the courthouse at night - very nice. I'd recommend it any time.

A Glimpse of Bordeaux in SB
A superb late lunch. Food, service, ambience, value, all were fantastique. I enjoyed immensely the Caesar Salad with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and Crepe Suzette for dessert. My daughter relished the turkey baguette and banana/chocolate crepe. Delicious, all. Will definitely return and do highly recommend.

Great for pre-theater dining
Within walking distance of the theater. Not too crowded. Good food. I will definitely dine here again.
