Let's keep it a secret.
It won't be long before the secret is out about this diminutive East Village dining spot. This was my third visit to Tink's. So far, nothing has disappointed. Southern-inspired dishes are given a chef's creative interpretation to delightful results. Some standouts are the shrimp and grits--rich and creamy; pretzel-fried chicken and waffles--a perfect balance of savory and sweet; the charcuterie plate--mmmm mmm... paté. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, attentive but not overly so, and they never make you chase them down for the check. I'll be back.

Brunch here is a MUST!!!
We reserved a table for a group of six and everything went smoothly and everyone left happy. The brunch selection was amazing! Chicken and waffles, French toast bread pudding with bacon maple syrup - OMG! Yum! Not only was the food delicious the staff was on top of their game - super nice, helpful, ninja-like water refills skills, and we felt welcomed and not rushed. I will be coming back here!

Had a decent size group (11ppl in place that seats about 25) for brunch on Sunday. Service excellent, food was very good and the place is cute & cozy. The shrimp and grits and Cobb salad seemed to be the favorites. I would definitely come back.

Tink's serves American tapas, a novel concept and quite well executed. I brought my parents and family friends here and everyone enjoyed themselves on the Mac and cheese, sliders, pork belly, grilled cheese, pretzel chicken... Basically everything was delicious and served so cute (cast iron skillets all around). The service was attentive but not suffocating and the flair with the check (they give it to you tucked in a book) was absolutely charming.

A local neighborhood gem
A small local neighborhood gem, Tink's is a great place for ordering multiple tapas and sharing. Had enough variety to satisfy the carnivores and vegetarian amongst us. Service was great, live music hit the spot, we would definitely come back.

Tink's was exactly what I
Tink's was exactly what I was looking for: an adorable spot with a delicious brunch menu. We really enjoyed our stop there and will be returning for dinner at some point!

Tasty tasty food!
I was looking for a place that would accomodate a group of 7 and Tink's had the reservation and space for 7 people. Even if Open Table doesnt show a certain reservation time, you should still call them up because they might still be able to seat you and accomodate you. The music in this place is really good and its a place that I would love to go on a date at. The food can all be shared, but we opted to each get 2 dishes of our own.The food was really delicious and you will have a great time! The place is quite cozy, but fun :)

I've been to Tinks for brunch twice now, and it is not to be missed. The french toast bread pudding is one of the best brunch foods I've ever had, and the pretzel chicken and waffles are excellent. I've also had the grown-up grilled cheese, which is quite good, but not as novel and delicious as the french toast.
The restaurant generally has open seats, but you may as well make a reservation to guarantee a spot. In addition to being delicious, one of the best parts of Tinks is that you can get a table without waiting an hour.

Yes, this place is tiny. Yes,
Yes, this place is tiny. Yes, we made endless Peter Pan references. However, the food was amazing! I came on a Tuesday night with my family and friends and everyone had a great time. I had the gnocchi and lobster pot pie and will be dreaming about both for weeks. Overall, Tink's is a tiny gem with charming decor and delicious food.

A really sweet place
Tinks is a really small and cozy restaurant. The night I was there was a Thursday a an acoustic musician was setting up. Usually I think this is a bad sign because it might be too loud or in a small place, it may be hard to focus on your dinner conversation in a setting that small. Neither were the case. The music was a great touch and added to that intimate atmosphere. The food was delicious. We ordered 4 plates between the two of us- we are both women and it was plenty. When I bring my husband, I will order an extra. The pretzel fried chicken was awesome and a definite repeat. The Angus were ordered medium and came out perfectly.

Ate here on a Friday evening as a couple, as part of our on-going tour round the East Village Eateries.
Food was really great - some good original dishes, and all delicious,
Service was good, friendly and genuine.
Will be back. It's a particulary good spot to go with a small group of 4+, as you can try more dishes that way - though check ahead as it is a small place.

Cute Place in the East Village
Tink's is a small cute restaurant with some really nice touches. It is american food tapas style which is great for sharing and trying different dishes. I read that their pretzel fried chicken was highly recommended however, it was not my favorite of their dishes. Their tuna sliders were really tasty. The gnocci was delicious and completely fresh. If I went back I would try their mac and cheese which looked delicious and was recommended as well. They have a small but nice beer and wine list. The servers are really friendly. Overall it was a great experience. The restaurant was a little warm but other than that it was delicious and i would go back.

Went here for brunch. It was delicious, especially the more traditionally Southern dishes (the best was hands down the chicken and waffles, although the biscuits with gravy and eggs were really satisfying too). It's a small place so if you have more than two or three people I'd recommend making a reservation.

Sunday Brunch at Tink's
Tink's is a neighborhood gem with its cozy rustic ambience- the menu is one that can please most and everyone loved their selected dish. They serve good coffee in big mugs and your Moo is served in an" Ellsie the cow" individual ceramic server ( a cute touch)
The sweet potatoe hash was my favorite
The service was warm and friendly, we did wait awhile for service, but they made up for delays with courtesy
This small but cozy spot has an easy going tone that will never give you the feeling it's time to go- stay as long as you like!
They just keep filling the coffee mugs and water as you talk. The only negative remark is, if you are seated at the window seats, bring your own cushion - the tiles are not comfortable-

Great food selection!
Food is served tapa style. It's nice to try out different dishes, without feeling super full. I took a date here and we both had a great time. Food is priced well, but the wine is a bit overpriced. Overall, I would give it 4/5.

I was disappointed that only wine and beer were available though the wines were actually quite nice and moderately priced. The food was delicious. The shrimp and grits is a MUST as is the Beet Salad. Our reservation was at 8:00 and we were able to converse but by 9 PM as the restaurant filled, the noise was deafening. I would definitely go here again but no later than a 7:00 reservation. Seems very popular with the 20 something crowd.

Cute Brunch Spot
Met 3 of my girlfriends here for brunch. So cute! And the food was DELICIOUS. Very happy with our choice.

Creative, outstanding comfort food
What a surprise that in this hood and this tiny place they are pumping out some very creative and outstanding comfort food. We ordered 8 dishes and each one I would order again. Great beer list and friendly service. Was quite loud but with the size of the place that is to be expected. I would certainly return

Great if you like to share food!
Met up with 3 friends for dinner. We had a great time, sharing everything we ordered. The food was delicious. The restaurant is very small, but we did not feel at all rushed, which we really appreciated. We sat for a long time and ordered additional dishes after we placed our initial order. The restaurant is pretty noisy; not a good place for intimate conversation.

The food here was delicious.
The food here was delicious. I love being able to share multiple small plates and this place is great for that. We ordered 6 things for 3 people and it was the perfect amount of food. My favorites were the gnocchi (actually the best gnocchi I've ever had), the chocolate mole pulled pork sliders and the pretzel crusted fried chicken. I didn't love the goat cheese and beet salad. I really like both beets and goat cheese but this salad just didn't compare to the rest of their food.
