New Brunch Spot!
Great brunch in a beautifully open space with a comfortable, modern design. Expecting nothing less from the Rayuela/Macondo team, this was great. This was needed on the West side. Pimms w fresh ginger cocktail paired w delicious pancakes and duck confit coca is the way to go! Service comfortable, easy, neighborhoody. Thank you Pablo.

West Village Spanish Gem: Go Hungry
So good. Convivial atmosphere and highly accommodating staff (asked to move away from large, loud party of six or more; not a problem). Best go early for quiet experience. Third time and food is consistently good, fresh, complex, well-conceived and authentic - with a great wine list and sommelier to boot. My only hint for would-be patrons is always remember to not mix up Greenwich St. and AVENUE and get lost. As I've done every time, as a local.. Good for burning off a few calories, though, in the nicest of neighborhoods. A pleasure.
Particularly enjoyed the Croquetas de Setas y Pollo app (do split, as it's rich), flatbreads, ensalada de remolacha. Next up? Paella night.

Wonderful service, great food.
Wonderful service, great food. It was a friends 25th birthday and they not only brought her a special cocktail for the occasion but then brought desert for the table. The manager checked in on us throughout the meal to make sure we were happy. Will definitely be returning.

Awesome paella. We got the
Awesome paella. We got the Tierra Paella and it was delicious. We also had pan con tomate and a flat bread with grilled veggies and they were just okay--not on the same level as the paella.

Hostesses are kind, helpful
Hostesses are kind, helpful and charming. They are sisters (twins) and helped my friend and I find our way uptown from Greenwich Village. Food portions are relatively larger than other tapas restaurants. Recipes are innovative and presentation was A+. Will be back.

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, responsive to diners needs but not over the top. Excellent Sangria!

Barraca is an attractive open
Barraca is an attractive open space that has a Spanish feel. We only had tapas so I can't comment on the paella or other main dishes. The coca de salmon stood out, as did the shrimp in saffron sauce. Although the waiter promoted the croquetas, the four of us found them bland. My husband, the meat lover, liked the chunks of lamb (cordero). The delicately fried potatoes that come with the little chunks of fried fish were very good, the fish itself not so interesting. The coca de rasberries we had for dessert was very good, not too sweet and very refreshing. The service was speedy but a little pushy. They seem to really want to make money from drinks, the waiter asked us twice to order drinks before we had a chance to look at the menu.

Great Sunday Brunch
We brought family from Florida to Sunday Brunch and it was excellent. Food and service we very good and their $3.00 Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's were a real treat in NYC where drink prices are always a shocker. Will definitely be back.

Awesome discovery :)
I had dinner with a friend last Friday and we had a great time. The service first and foremost was beyond expectations. The food was so good I didn't want it to stop coming to the table. From the tapas to the sangria and dessert. Who knew tomato ice cream could be so yummy. Truly loved the restaurant. Keep up the good work.

A authentic Spanish Restaurant
Very good food, friendly service. WInes are quite reasonably priced. They are Paella experts. A worthy experience!

The Best Paella anywhere!
The Best authentic paella I've ever had. Even better than any you might get in Newark. Love the different types of paella as well. It gives the diner the option of tasting the different variations. My favrotie is the Fedeo Paella, which is noodle based instead of Rice. The Black Paella was great as well. The tapas are wonderful especially the chicken croquest as well as the squid. The portions are just the right size so you dont feel full before the main cours arrives. The service is always excellant and the staff is well trained and very knowledgeable. Definately a keeper.

I'd been here for dinner and found the food and sangria both to be quite good. The brunch, however, was lackluster. The eggs benedict were served on stale bread, the service was rather mediocre, and the fries were soggy. I really thought I'd like the brunch much more, given how much I enjoyed the dinner. I don't think I'll be back for a while, until there are some changes to the brunch.

This was my first time at this restaurant; chose it because it was participating in the Spain tapas promotion. Everything was delicious and I would definitely go back!!!

Booked this place at the last minute. Was pleasantly surprise with the restaurant. Food was ok, not bad, but not amazing. The cocktails were fun and interesting. Service was excellent, Eugeny was attentive, friendly while giving the proper space to clients.

Great food, great drinks, great service. Have been there a few times and am never disappointed. One of my favorite tapas places in the city.

I was looking for a last minute boozy brunch reservation and stumbled across this place. I wasn't sure what to expect since it was pretty empty when we walked in, but it was a great experience. They never tried to force us out and were generous with the unlimited sangria. There was also a variety of sangrias available as we were there. The menu options were varied and everything was good and moderately priced. It was a really nice time, and I'd definitely go again!

It was a wonderful restaurant
Would defiantly come back for more
The payella wasn't that great though each of the many starters was delicious
The service and the staff were very nice and professional

The service was excellent.
The service was excellent. Very attentive but not overbearing. The kind where your water glass is never empty but you never notice it being filled.
Ambiance is very cool. Light wood, modern. Soft but not too soft lighting. Music is a great level.
The tapas are excellent. There were 6 of us and we ordered a lot of them to share for the table. Portions aren't the best for sharing with six, but we made it work.
Come here to order a ton of tapas, get some main dishes to share, and enjoy the authentic Spaniard cuisine. The paella is good, but If you want paella there are other places.
Also the sangria is worth trying.
