Dinner was fabulous!!!! The service was delightful & the food was outstanding. My girlfriend and I both did the pre-fix menu. You choose any appetizer you want, any entree you want & any dessert you want (including the crepes, YUM) for only 48 dollars. They also had a great wine list, along with delicious wine cocktails! definitely be dining here more often, I think we just found our favorite spot!!!

Awesome Brunch in Hard to find Gem
We chose Payard Patisserie for Sunday Brunch and we arrived 15mins early. Even though we were early, we were seated promptly ahead of the walk-ins. We were suprised to see how small the dining room was(seats a little over 40). Our waiter was awesome and one of the best I have ever had. He was the only waiter with 2 assistants and kept up with the cooks who dished out meals quickly, from the kitchen, in the middle of the dining room. I ordered the Lobster Eggs Benedict on Potato Waffle which was delicious. The lobster and poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce had the right tang to it. My wife got the Classic Croque Monsieur which was golden brown and delicious, especially the baked tomato. Leave room for dessert!!!

Our meals included dessert but we ran out of time, so the restaurant let us come back after the show to finish! Now that's service ;)

Celebrated a special birthday
Celebrated a special birthday with my family. The waiters treated the whole group as very special. I left with fond memories and hopes to return to enjoy those most special desserts as well as other food offerings. I enjoyed viewing the chef as he prepared our meals.

Great little gem tucked away
Great little gem tucked away in Caesars Palace. The single cook prepares everything in front of you. Though we were a bit skeptical at first - both my and my friend's entrees (roasted chicken and steak frites) were delicious and cooked to perfection. Ambiance is a tad lacking, but it's quiet (not even a soundtrack on) and low key.

We make it a habit of coming back to Payard each year for our trade show in Vegas. It is quaint and convenient and is a great place to bring clients. The service is good and the food is always delicious. The Eggs Benedict is fabulous.

A quiet, unassuming small
A quiet, unassuming small restaurant in the midst of the garishness of Caesars Palace. The food and service exceeded my expectations, which were admittedly low having experienced the overpriced , over-hyped food so prevalent in Vegas. Food was relatively simple , with well-chosen ingredients presented without trying to put everything into every dish. Open kitchen in the middle was entertaining and informative. The chef readily discussed his technique with my wife, a real foodie.

The food and service were poor and the prices were high. We should have been tipped off when there was only one other party in the restaurant. We had to wait long for service and felt that we were not important. My lobster bisque was cold. The food was unflavorful and not impressive. There was just a general lack of regard for the customer.

Well done at Payard
Extremely tasteful food, everything was excellent. I was getting disillusioned by the blandness at the other restaurants, Payard IS the solution. Seriously. The bigger-name places were BLAND, packed with people and BLAND. Payard is a gastronomic gem.

I love dinner at Payard, & always have to come here when we are in town. I noticed they changed some items on the menu. Instead of the lamb shank, they added a rack of lamb that was incredible. They also always have great dinner specials. The food, service and ambiance are great. Definitely my favorite little spot in Caesars! I look forward to my next visit!!!!!!
5/3/2013 4:00:00 PM
The food was excellent but the waiter seemed slightly disinterested. We ordered the lamb chops and the filet mignon entrees. Both were cooked to our order. We also ordered an extra side, the boursin mac and cheese...to die for! When we signalled to the waiter to come over so we could see the dessert menu, he came over with the check and left. For a restaurant owned by a pastry chef, I cannot believe the waiter did not ask if we wanted dessert. We will go back when next in Vegas... If the waiter does not offer the dessert menu, just go next door and you can get a chocolate eclair at their pastry shop which is delicious.

Our yearly visit to Las Vegas for our wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday was not what it used to be. The customer service during our 4 day stay was nothing to brag about. However, the birthday dinner we had at Payard Patisserie & Bistro was excellent.
The food, atmosphere and service was what we remembered getting 10 years ago. It's too bad we don't see it very much
We would recommend this place to eat to anyone.

The breakfast/brunch is great!
The breakfast/brunch is great! Savory Hollandaise for the Benedicts. Brioche French toast with sautéed berries is a must try.

You felt more like being in Someone's home not a restaurant

I thought the $48 dinner special was a good deal. I really wanted to have the lobster bisque as an appetizer and that was the only thing they didn't have. =/ Otherwise the wedge salad was good. The fillet mignon was so so so delicious. I would go back just for that. Get it! The dessert was good, not stellar. I came here with my husband because we had a $50 voucher for attending a timeshare presentation (don't get me started). So total price didn't sting, but I would find it hard to spend that much money on portions that size. Together, all 3 items were filling and delicious, but I know my money would go really far somewhere equally nice and delicious. The staff themselves gave excellent service.

Great restaurant and the waiter was awesome! We dined beforethe wonderful Rod Stewart concert and our waiter's name was also Rod and he was great. The food was wonderful, I had the special Sea Bass and it was very good. Will try and go back sometime.

Food was good, had the steak, little under cook had to send it back.
Recommend the 3 course special.

The best place in Vegas. Small, quaint, charming - and the food was spectacular! Michelle (manager) worked as hard as the rest of the staff making sure tables were clean and the place was perfect! We ate here several times - as the food was consistently good and the atmosphere was perfect. An amazing French Bistro!

Dinner in the round
This unique restaurant is in a round room with the diners surrounding the food prep area. They have a reasonably priced diner tion that include any one app, any main entree and any desert. While the desserts are not large they are very flavorful and nicely presented.

Las Vegas' Hidden Gem
I have eaten at Payard several times and have NEVER had a bad meal. The service is wonderful - your beverage is kept full and the wait staff attentive and interested in how your meal is. If you arrive before your table is ready, they offer seperate seating and a beverage while you wait. They have a justifiable reputation for their almond crossantes which are light, crisp and indescribely delicious. They are a little pricey, but well worth it. Finding the restaurant creates a challenge for those not familiar with it, as it is tucked away in the back of Caeser's Palace, near both the buffet and Raos. However, the search is well worth a foodie's while.
Once again, a wonderful overall experience.

Small but very comfortable
The restaurant is somehow small, a few tables with the kitchen in the middle. That is nice because you can see the chef working on your ditch.
The chef was very careful on the preparation and you can see he is making an effort to make your dinner special.
The chicken is on of the best plates in the house, but it takes 18 minutes to cook. you will be warned by the staff about the time.
The staff is very responsive and have details about each plate and its preparation.
You will spend 80$ for two with cheap drinks, with wine expect 110$ bill.

We made a reservation for Sunday brunch to try a new place based on a Las Vegas magazine review. We weren't disappointed. We ordered Mimosas (hibiscus & grapefruit varieties), the Croque Madame and Brioche French Toast with Nutella/Bananas.The food was delicious and we enjoyed the novelty of seeing the chef prepare the food in the circular kitchen, which is situated in the middle of the dining area. We recommend this place based off our first visit, we plan to return in the near future.

Way above average
Eating at Payard is a treat. You will remember the meal and the attention to preparation.

Nice surprise and AMAZING desserts!
This restaurant was a nice surprise tucked away in Caesar's Palace. I booked a reservation here because Gordon Ramsey's Pub was completely full. The wife and I weren't expecting that much as the ambiance wasn't that fancy and the dining area was very small - most of the establishment is a coffee/dessert shop. The "kitchen" itself was a tiny station in the middle of the restaurant... the wife even remarked it looked as if the chefs were using EZ-Bake Ovens! We were pleasantly surprised with the filet mignon! It was cooked at a perfect medium-rare, and was tastier than other pricier restaurants around the strip... and we've been to quite a few of the $$$$ restaurants over the years. The best reason to go however is the AMAZING desserts!

The food was great, and prices were great too. we would dine here again.

Exceptional Food Quality
I simply have to say that the quality and presentation of the meal I ordered was impeccable but that the dining area itself needed a makeover. The server and others assisting were very attentive to my requests with little delay.

Payard after Shania Twain
We booked Payard Bistro for dinner after seeing Shania Twain at the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace. It's only a couple of minutes walk from the venue, which is just as well as the show was much longer than we expected and finished only ten minutes before our booking.
The meal we had was excellent, as was the service. Although we both had two courses, mine was starter and main and hers was main and dessert.
I had a cheese souffle which was very good.
Mains were Lamb shank served on a bed of mash with root vegetables, which my wife said was excellent and Filet Mignon, which was cooked perfectly, with Dauphinois Potatoes and mixed vegetables.
My wife had a chocolate cake from the large selection of cakes from the Patisserie. Excellent again.

Excellent food and great staff.
Excellent food and great staff. The cheese soufflé appetizer was fantastic ! Desserts were excellent too. Menu is limited but the food was great. I had the chicken as my main course and it had a wonderful flavor and came with excellent potato side. Another member of my group had the short ribs and did not like them because the cut of meat was too fatty but otherwise a great meal enjoyed by all. I would highly recommend it and definitely splurge for dessert.

We had a wonderful experience dining before the show. Service was excellent and the food delicious. All around enjoyable.

Thanksgiving fixed menue/price
Excellent service, a bit noisy, competent well prepared and presented meal.
However, it was a standard meal for every dinner
We will return in future to try full menue options

My server stated they there filet is their signature dish, but I chose the short ribs, which excellent. The restaurant is small and interment. Certain spots can also be considered good spots for people watching. My server was excellence and very attentive. I think it is hidden jewel. Whether you are visiting or on date night, it is fitting .
