Open Table Find
On a visit to friends near Freehold, I searched for a restaurant on the way for a later Saturday lunch. Several in Englishtown came up and I found a very good one. This store front restaurant has about 10 or so tables and is decorated simply but tastefully.
I chose 3 light courses that, when taken together, were quite filling. The leek soup was very good ( I've had it at several fine restaurants and, in comparison, theirs was really good). An organic spring mix salad. and a tart with ham and cheese. Total price $15 + tax.
The food was very good; it's great to see organic and local produce used at affordable prices.
There is a public lot behind and a liqour store one block south for this BYOB restaurant.

Gluten Free Find!
This restaurant has great gluten-free items (not all of them are) and they are delicious! The pizza we had was a special for the night, and you'd never know it was gluten-free (they charge extra, but it's worth it!). A nice little natural-ingredient pizza gem in the heart of Englishtown!
