Chef Antonio Park is a culinary genius, this was our second time and it was just as good as the first. Only thing is we were told we were to be charged a small extra for switching the main course in the omakase menu (which later ended up being 25$/per person extra). Other than that, the asian salad entrée is to die for and ask for Uni it's a must have!

This restauant is a great find. The food is wonderfully creative and a real treat fot the taste buds. I am a recent convert to sushiand up until about a month ago I was still squeamish about raw fish but the fact that there was nothing on the imprsive tasting menu I did not enjoy s a testiment to Antonio Park's culinary skill. The green tea tiramsu was a wonderful way to finish off the meal. I hav already recommended Park to friends. Can't wait to go back again!

A must in Montreal
Our favourite restaurant in Montreal Omakase always OMG. A must when visiting Montreal. Wish we lived here so we could come more often. A simple broth can be transformed by Antonio Park into something ethereal. I don't like scallops but this one could change my mind The fish in the hot dish could be the most well-prepared piece of fish I've ever had Servers always friendly, professional and helpful as some of the dishes can be challenging to the uninitiated. The a la carte mains are enormous. Very good value for the quality of food.

Excellent quality of sashimi.
Excellent quality of sashimi. Nice ambience. Staff rather annoying, took them 15 minutes to take the order. Explain each dish on menu in every detail, sorry thats to much. Great selection of sakes. Overall a great experience.

We will be back
You can't go wrong with a place that clearly loves making tasty fun food.
4/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
I have been to the Park restaurant many times for lunch since it opened a year ago and I was never disappointed. Friendly staff, great food and a nice neighborhood ambiance.
5/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
We went to Park for brunch after hearing great reviews about the chef. The brunch menu offered traditional choices as well as Japanese items. Ever since Folco decided to not open on weekends we had been craving a Japanese brunch and Park did not disappoint! Both our menu items were amazing.
We now have a reservation for an evening later this month and can't wait to taste the dinner menu.

My fiancé and I went for the first time to this restaurant for dinner. The ambiance is warm and pleasant. They have an interesting and notable sake list. The food, particularly raw fish, is very fresh. We had maki, nigiri and sashimi. Although, it was really delicious we would have liked to choose the type of sushis; it was only chef's choices. The service could be a tad better on the staff's knowledge about tea and sake. Overall, we are willing to come back there and to recommend it.

Best sushi ever
Been to a lot of sushi places but the quality of the food and the attention to details of this one is above anything i experienced before.
5/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great quality/price for sushis only
I've been a few times at Park and have tried many things on the menu. Conclusion: quality/price only worth it if you eat the sushis! If you are 2, I would definately suggest the sashimi entree (in-credible) and for the main course, share the nigiris and the seasonal makis. They are delicious and definately filling!
I have also had the surf and turf (good, but not great, therefore I found it to be expensive) and my boyfriend has had the Park bol and refuses to come back to this restaurant for it. For 20$, he got an average-tasting small bol of rice (even though it has the restaurant name on it) that is overpriced considering that it is really just rice, vegetables, and sauce.

Once again Park not only delivers what you would hope to get but far surpasses any expectations you may have!
This was not our first visit to Park nor will it be our last! Chef Antonio Park and his amazing team provided us with an amazing evening from the amazing drinks (we started with a Park Ceasar and a Park Pink) to the incredible Omakase menu (we were smart - had one that was the trout and one with the sushi) all wrapped together in an amazing ambiance supported by incredible service.
The food was incredible. Fish was amazingly fresh, flavourful, perfectly and creatively prepared. With each bite we had a flavour explosion!
We can not recommend this gem enough - a must go for anyone who truly enjoys an amazing culinary experience!

Tasty, fresh, innovative
Went for lunch and sat on the sidewalk terrace. Healthy meals, very tasty and innovative. I had yam noodles - who knew? Sashimi was ultra fresh. Bento box looked yummy. Great choice of salads. Our vegetarian dining partner was very happy as they had a ton of choices. All the food on everyone else's tables looked great! $120 for 3 ppl, incl 2 glasses of wine.
5/28/2013 12:00:00 AM
The food was great and the service was amazing. What else is there to say.
5/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
Food was amazing every single item we are I'm already craving again two days later. Service was outstanding. Can't wait to go back

Best japanese food and service!!!
Chef. Park's food is blowing my mind. Fresh fish, perfect rice and healthy food.
Felt so special chef. Park made all sushi and sashimi:) knowledgable servers and big smile:)
6/17/2013 12:00:00 AM
The discovery menu was outstanding! And I bet that for lunch or happy hour it is also wonderful. Food is incredibly fresh, everything in the plate has its place. Feels good to see a restaurant that cares about what is being served. Highly recommended!
6/17/2013 12:00:00 AM
Excellent food and great service
The staff here are very friendly. Their food is amazing! Try it. You will not regret it.
6/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
Special occasion only, expensive
The service was impeccable a the waiter detailed to us every ingredient of every meal we had. He was thoughtful all along. The food was amazing while the portions are a little even for 1 person. All in all, perfect experience but 84$ I'll reserve it for a special occasion only.
6/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
Had a great dinner. Ordered the five course tasting menu that included soup, lobster course, sushi platter with different and unusual fish flown in from Japan, a halibut main and dessert. Other main courses were Korean influenced, such as the braised short ribs which a table mate ordered - large and flavorful. If you go don't expect a traditional sushi menu. However, you won't be disappointed in the choices and will leave very satisfied.

Park was a delight
My husband and I ordered oysters and deconstructed salad to start. Both were delicious and fresh. Next came the maki, sashimi and nigiri platters. We wanted to try a little of everything.. Very earthy tastes. Some sashimis were very tasty, others were alright. The jalapeno gives it a nice kick. The makis were absolutely delicious, best I've ever had in the city. Service was friendly and helpful. The chef was a pleasure to watch. He obviously puts his heart into it. My only complaint was there was no sea urchin or any other special peculiarities that night. oh well. Would highly recommend for a special occasion.

Just keeps getting better
This is the best Japanese Food in Canada. Best ingredients like gold medal rice, fish flown in daily directly from fishermen, homemade soya sauce, home made tofu, etc..... Plus the best trained uncompromising chefs makes a huge difference between Park and all the rest of the sushi restaurants that use frozen fish and try to drown the bad fish with tempura, spicy mayonnaise and soya sauce. Come here and find out what real sushi is supposed to taste like. Yes, it is a bit more expensive, but relative to restaurants of the same quality in NY or Japan it is an amazing deal. We're lucky to have a Japanese restaurant of this quality in Montreal.
7/17/2013 12:00:00 AM
Been to Japan and can say Antonio's food is comparable and above high end Japanese sushi. Love the fusion with his Korean and South American background. Just awesome to watch a master at work.
7/18/2013 12:00:00 AM
It lived up to the hype
This is a must for sushi lovers!! Sit at the sushi bar and have the tasting menu. The chef's creations are a delicious work of art.
7/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
Will be back!
Had heard a lot about this place in the last year or so (Social Media, on TV, in printed articles) . But finally went there with a friend who loves fish just like I do. We ordered fish of course, what a selection! Taste of happiness I may say! I felt like the fish was treated like in a spa :) Ils sont bichonnés! Bravo to the team, it was delicious!
8/8/2013 12:00:00 AM
Excellent service courtois
8/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great service. Very friendly but still very professional. Incredible freshness of the ingredients. Every plate is a work of art. Beyond expectations! Very nice sake selection.
Best sushi in town! This is a must for food lovers!
8/22/2013 12:00:00 AM
Park on a Tuesday
Incredible sushi. Tasting menu very well thought out and balanced. A bit too long between courses for a Tuesday night, but friendly service.
8/27/2013 12:00:00 AM
Was definitely worth the wait!
We finally decided to check out Park restaurant after months of wanting to try it. We were there for my husband's birthday and so we probably ordered more food than necessary, but everything looked great and we wanted to spoil ourselves. The soup of the day, a 1855 premium angus beef bouillon was warm, comforting and had amazing flavours. The deconstructed salad for two definitely stood out and the seasonal maki was simply outstanding. I had eaten too much to try my husband's short ribs but he said he loved it. Green tea ice cream was the perfect way to end this decadent meal. The depth of the matcha flavours were rich but not overwhelming. Great night and can't wait to go back!
9/10/2013 12:00:00 AM
A must when visiting Montreal. third time having the Omakase. Each time better than the last. The best burrata salad ever! Only to be topped by the foie gras-scallop-duck rillettes 'sandwich'. Nigiri always superb. Oh wait! All topped off with an incredible salted caramel mousse. Is there anything they don't do well? Love love love this place.
9/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
I've lived west coast and now eastern Canada and have hadn't fair share. (Actually I eat A LOT) of sushi. And this was by far the best, freshest, taste filled nigiri I've had to date. Absolutely amazing. All the other dishes were tasty
But the nigiri was next level. Service was wonderful how all their girls worked together to constantly fill our water and clear off our tables. Definite recommend to any one.
9/21/2013 12:00:00 AM
I had an amazing evening at Park. Had one of the best waitress ever, very sweet and explain food very well. We had the regular tasting menu and the sushi tasting menu. I has to admit that the sushi tasting menu was a lot of food but everything is so fresh. Loved it ! I will certainely go back !
9/27/2013 12:00:00 AM
Perfect food, ambiance and service
The degustation menu is a must to discover the restaurant. Everything ids super fresh. Very well prepared and good presentation. The food is very good but we found sometimes a lack of taste. Not a problem but we missed the woew effect with the tast. It is fine cuisine anyway. Also very nice place, and service is perfect. IT was a nice romantic dinner.
10/5/2013 12:00:00 AM
You get what you pay for... Park isn't cheap, but its the best restaurant in the city.
Go in with an open mind, and dont even look at the menu... just get the Omakase (Chef's Choice). You will leave full and very satisfied... and itching to go back! Perfect place to impress !
stop reading this... and go to Park.
10/7/2013 12:00:00 AM
Eclectic use of product and
Eclectic use of product and technique creating a more than harmonious result. A chef who clearly takes the requisite pride and time to ensure a memorable experience. If there was a fault, although minor, more time should be expended by the wait staff ensuring the pace of the meal is satisfactory and less time filling one's water glass. Notwithstanding, our party of two enjoyed the seven course nigiri and and five course chef's choice with all of our very happy senses. Ausgezeichnet!
10/10/2013 12:00:00 AM
We only had brunch so can't comment on full menu, however brunch was excellent. It's a small brunch menu but what they do they do very well. I will return for dinner as I'm sure will be just as good.
10/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
Worth every penny
Park exceeds my expectations every time I'm there. The technique, quality, creativity and care that goes into every single component of every single dish is seriously next level - and the fact that Chef Park has a private fish import license? Hands down the best.
This is the kind of place that leaves you wanting to book your next reservation on your way out of the restaurant.
Omakase all day, all night!
10/15/2013 5:00:00 PM
At first Park looks not so special. Then when you are greeted by a nice waiter and taste the food, you know you are going back again and again and again!
We had their salad mixed with mangoes, miso soup and sushi! Delicious! Can't wait to go back and try something else.
10/17/2013 12:00:00 AM
10/18/2013 5:00:00 PM
We had a great time at Park. The degustation menu is a fantastic way to experience the menu and the food is delicious and well portioned. The waiters were patient but had trouble explaining the menu to the francophones in our group.
10/27/2013 5:00:00 PM
They know their seafood!
Outstanding match between the type of fish and the seasoning (assortment of nigiris). The fish was also extremely tasty and fresh. If you go for the first time, take the Degustation Menu. The desert was OK, but not way up there like the rest of the menu. We'll be back.
11/7/2013 4:00:00 PM
I was at the restaurant on November 12 and had the tasting menu. It was excellent as was the service. The food was very creative without being flashy. Fish were of extremely high quality as was the sushi rice. The dishes were nicely presented and of uniformly high quality, showing off the ingredients and making interesting and unusual flavour combinations. The staff went the extra mile to take care of us and the occasional small gaff was quickly repaired with a smile.
This is not an inexpensive restaurant but if you really appreciate spectacular food, presented in modest but sufficient portions that highlight top quality ingredients, you will be chuffed. The décor is nice enough but not at the level of the cuisine.
11/11/2013 4:00:00 PM
The last time I was here I ordered the bento box which changes daily. It was OUTSTANDING! I couldn't wait to come back. This time, it was alright. The tofu in the fish broth was tasteless and looked unappealing, the maki was alright as was the Israeli couscous salad. The best part was the lime curd desert. My friend really enjoyed her bibimbap.
11/14/2013 4:00:00 PM
L'originalité de la cuisine
L'originalité de la cuisine et la fraicheur des produits. Et toute l'équipe qui contribue à l'excellence de notre expérience !

Best sushi in Montreal
Chef Park has such a keen understanding of fish and where they come from and what makes them good and bad. It makes for an extraordinary dining experience. As a chef he runs a very tight ship with impeccable attention to detail. Highly recommend Park
11/19/2013 4:00:00 PM
My husband and I have been to Park several times now - we're from Ottawa but try to make it to Montreal a couple of times a year. This restaurant is now a must visit for us. The food is consistently excellent - for taste, presentation and freshness. I would put the sushi on the same level as Tojo's in Vancouver - except it's all the more impressive how fresh and unique the fish is considering Montreal is not close to the ocean. This last visit in November I was particularly impressed as we took a chance and brought our two children there for brunch. My 9 year old was immediately attracted to the bacon omelette and the whole table, including her 6 year old sister, agreed she had ordered the best dish. We'll be back in December for omakawse.

Wonderful asiatic restaurant!
I loved the special luncheon Sushi plate and highly recommend it. The service was wonderful. Can't wait to come back!

Amazing Sushi Cool Atmosphere
I really loved Park: everything from the service to the food to the ambiance...
Tables are really close together though so it's hard to move around but the space is small in itself (which makes it cozy).
I'm looking forward to trying the brunch and the lunch which I think will be a more affordable way to experience Park.
