Love restaurants that serve
Love restaurants that serve breakfast all day. The Blackstone Benedict was superb. If someone likes bacon, the Millionaire's Bacon is a must and it is every bit as scrumptious as mentioned by food reviews. Would definitely go back many times.

Best Green Curry I've had! Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Very Good Food, Creative & Healthy
Everything our waitress recommended was better than we expected. Menu is descriptive but the staff can more precisely describe and seem to match the guests with the perfect dishes. Sharing is encouraged for good reason. Many of the starters are portioned for the table and the other dishes lend themselves well to division. You will want what your neighbor has!
Tuna Scoops, oh my, sesame crusted ahi, sweet potato shoe strings, dressed cukes & 2 "aiolis". That was just the beginning. All fried foods were dry and crisp; no excess oil. Excellent hints of mysterious flavors in all dishes and sauces. Fun to think like a detective.
We asked some questions and the waitress surprised us with an interesting amuse bouche. Really listened.

Just what we were looking for
Met my date at SFO Monday night. She was getting in after a full 12 hour day of traveling. The plan was to have a quiet relaxing dinner before driving to her home in Marin. We wanted a smallish place with good food and a romantic ambiance where we could unwind, visit at length. Granted, it was Memorial Day night. Few customers when we arrived at 7:30 but by 8:00, it was nearly full up. We had Blackwood's ahi scoops—really tasty, and Wagyu beef, also very good. Not much else, as we were not all that hungry—but the staff let us be, checked on us for water, drinks, dessert (which we did not have). We sat there for 1.5 hours, getting our feet back on the ground. Blocks away from GG Bridge and on to Marin. We would definitely go back.

We were a group of 6 dining at this restaurant. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. Upon walking in the restaurant, we were bowled over by the beautiful interior and lighting. The decor is muted and sets a stage for bright, beautifully plated food. The food was spectacular...we started with prawns and calimari and followed with flavorful curried entrees, flaming tenderloin and pineapple rice to name a few. The place was humming with activity throughout our meal...a festive atmosphere. Service was good and seemless despite a busy, crowded restaurant. If I lived in SF, this would be a favorite.

This is fusion at its best. I was totally surprised how awesome the food was. Was expecting good but not great. A neighborhood gem, I really hope this place will get the success it deserves. There's something a bit off with the ambience though, not a huge deal but maybe it just felt a bit too bright. The outside section is better.

Much more than just Thai food!
This is a fabulous place. The menu items are so creative and the flavors are amazing. Everything, even a simple green salad, is delicious. Be sure to try the Ahi Scoops--wonderful!!

Get the stone pot
3 of us shared the stone pot, after having the tuna appetizer and the calamari. The dishes might appear to be expensive if you look at the menu, but it is a lot of food for the main courses. I had the tilapia on a previous visit and it was enough rice and fish for two people easily, and absolutely delicious.

Amazing food and service
Well we went there on a whim because they had an open time at the last minute and the next time we go won't be by chance. We had the ahi scoops (amazing), millionaire bacon (best bacon I have ever had and worth the visit by itself) mango shrimp salad (nothing special, but not bad. There was only 4 shrimp which was disappointing) and the pad Thai was some of the best I've ever had. Not to mention they gave these I think sweet potato crisps free which were addicting. Not to mention they had ommegang beer. I'll be back soon. As for service my water never made it to half empty and the dishes were cleared immediately. Definitely something they work on.

Very good food
I've been wanting some Korean food for awhile now, and this really fit the bill. Good food, nice presentation, and reasonable prices. You can't get much better than that.

Enjoyed the great food and friendly service. Make sure you have a reservation! But be prepared (even with reservation) to wait for a table (we still had to wait 20min) and to be seated (on a cooler night) outside.

creative spin on Thai food
Like everyone says the Millionaire's bacon is delicious as was the Wagu rolled beef with cucumber and beet root. The atomosphere is very hip maybe hipster and cool; upscale but the prices aren't. The pad thai was very good. It wasn't nice and moist, not soggy but it could have been spicier. The mango tiger prawns were average. The prawns didn't seem grilled enough and they were not really what I call Tiger prawns. They were only medium size. I would go back again if I was in the neighborhood. I like something different and you can get it at Blackwood.

Blackwood Neighborhood Find
Blackwood has it all, an outdoor area with fireplace and flat screen tv, a beautiful dining room and food to match. The millionaire's bacon is amazing, the curries are delicious and spiced exactly how you want them, the noodle and rice dishes are exceptionally good with fresh and perfectly prepared ingredients. The service is excellent and the servers are helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast and lunch are fun with the interesting and imaginative Thai fusion menu. A great place for a group or a party of 2.

I recommend trying this place
I had had breakfast at Blackwood several months ago and it was surprisingly outstanding. I had to check out their dinner menu and was quite happy with my choice. They have a good menu with many healthy choices, I highly recommend it.
I will be going back there for sure.
