A great night out!
The service and food at Bridge Ten Brasserie was impecable! What a gem for the city of Pittsburgh. The wine list is great too! Highly recommend the duck and fish dishes and of course the crepes for dessert. Our server, David, was excellent. He assisted in dinner choices as well as wine rcommendations. This restaurant is a must try, you'll love it!

Can't wait to go back!
Being of French decent, I am always skeptical of going to a French restaurant. I am nearly always disappointed, not in the effort, but in the actual flavors of the food. This, however, was great. My son actually said that it smelled and tasted like pepere and memere's (grandpa and grandma's) house. He has already asked to go back. I can't comment on all of the dishes, since we only ordered a couple, but what we ordered was fantastic. From the escargot's to the lamb stew with polenta, as well as the traditional steak frites and crepes suzette, the food was rich and flavorful. The staff was exceptional and there was even an accordion player walking around. Most entrees $30 or less. Plenty of delicious food. Truly worth the visit.

The duck rillette and steak tartar was delicious. The entrees were even better than the appetizers. A wonderful night!

Great food and service
We found this restaurant to compose delicious, traditional French food at good value. Our meals were cooked to specifications, served prompt and hot. The staff payed attention to us and made helpful recommendations. We found the wine list to also have a breadth of selections but the pours a little small. We would go back any time.

Girl's night out
Four of us came to your restaurant for the first time last Wednesday. I loved that the bartender asked our names and remembered them when we wanted another drink. I loved how friendly everyone was to us, made for a very pleasant time all around. The food was excellent and I finished eveything on my plate - I never do that!
I have told everyone I see about this restaurant and can't wait to go back.

A Great Bastille Day Brunch!
Went with friends to the Bastille Day Brunch. Food was wonderful as usual--with great options. Entrees ordered by us included frittata du jour, french toast with mixed berries and creme (honey instead of maple syrup), saumon fume and hamburger with bleu cheese. I got a side of pommes frites which were shared--delicious and seasoned to perfection with no need for any additional seasoning. We also got a cheese plate with 3 cheeses--2 bleu cheese and comte for the 3rd. Everything was tasty, fresh and light. We each got a glass of house wine--as the advertised special was house wines, and two additional drinks for $1 each. What was not mentioned on the advertisement was that the $1 per glass advertised special referred to the FIRST glass only!

Pretty darn good
They need to expand their salad selection. Additionally I found their menu categories to be confusing. Great food though. The owner was as always awesome, an our non French server was excellent.

Emphasis on Experience
Bridge Ten Brasserie was wonderful for a nice family night out, and I regret passing it over as a choice for Valentine's Day dinner. Owners and staff are very dialed in to the tenets of European culture relative to dining - it is all about the experience! Fantastic views, great food, and unbelievably outstanding service! David Cesaro was the archetypal French restaurant character, bouncing around from table to table, offering his (strong) suggestions for what dishes would appeal to each diner. He was very engaging and entertaining, and made the experience absolutely wonderful. He was knowledgable about the wine, the food, and everything in between. I only hope that more people take a chance on this restaurant - is is beyond worth it!
7/19/2013 12:00:00 AM
Despite reading reviews on this restaurant, we were sure what to expect. The service provided by David was efficient and somewhat entertaining. We enjoyed ourselves. The real star here was the food my duck breast was superb and my wife's beef special was just that special. Little pricey but all in all worth the trip

Authentic French food
Good selection of all the classic French food options.

Entertaining three people from out of town. Had a wonderful dinner at Bridge Ten. All five of us ordered different entrees and all five enjoyed their dinners. Save room for dessert...a delicious way to finish off the evening. I'll be back and not hesistate to bring new people. Nice job.

A romantic evening.
My girlfriend and I wanted to dine somewhere we don't normally dine (read: not on the East End) for her birthday. She always says that Pittsburgh doesn't take advantage of its rivers the way it should, so we wanted something with outdoor seating near a river. We found it here. We both have a place in our hearts for France and we wanted a nice French experience. Bridge Ten delivered. The server was great, offering suggestions without being intrusive. He made great suggestions. The owner came out to the patio and greeted his guests. This simple gesture always raises my opinion of a restaurant immediately. The ambiance and the drinks were fantastic. The food was nothing special, but not bad by any means. We'll be back for sandwiches and drinks

We were looking for somewhere
We were looking for somewhere to dine outside on a warm summer evening and decided to try Bridge 10. Very nice experience. The owner, Dave, came to our table and was very knowledgeable about the wine list. The mussels and escargot were very good as were the entrees.
We had the lamb stew and the lobster crepe. Both were excellent, although we should have probably waited to have the stew on a winter evening indoors. Will return to do just that.

Good French Food in a very friendly atmosphere. Everyone is so helpful and friendly - making recommendations, describing the food, and helping with wine selection. Also, the free valet parking is a great perk.

Every dish was well-executed
Every dish was well-executed and delicious, wine list was very good- especilaly in the choices available of wines by the glass. Service was excellant and not overbearing. In short, much better than other Pgh restaurants for French bistro/brasserie food- if this restaurant was located - in the East End it would be impossible to get a reservation... A good value too

We will be back........
Our group of 4 dined here early on a Saturday with the dining room quiet and the bar area active. The waiter was entertaining, informative, helped us through the menu, and made a French wine recommendation that satisifed each of us. We started with the mussels (the option that included sausage) which were tasty and plenty for the 4 of us. The peppercorn steak was prepared perfectly for my taste with a hot pink center (the sauce is prepared tableside). We collectively tried the salmon special, a steak salad, and the roasted chicken, with everyone's entree meeting expectations. The dessert is worth the extra workout time and we shared the generous portions of chocolate pudding/mousse and the fruit with pastry.

Without a doubt Bridge Ten Brasserie is the French restaurant to go to! There are not a lot of places that specialize in French cuisine in Pittsburgh...excuse me I should say authentic French cuisine. Bridge Ten Brasserie hits every note that you are looking for in your selected "plat." Had the pleasure of going to brunch on the outdoor patio and enjoyed a beautiful Croque Madame with homemade frites! I was so full by the time I finished but with a sip or two of cider I was ready for a crepe!
Come and try this restaurant out! You will be amazed of the quality, presentation, service, and ambiance of this Pittsburgh treasure.

Merci Mon ami!
Trying to find good French food in the Burgh is a challenge, and some of us just don't want quiche and Crepes! Bridge Ten has a wonderful, diverse menu, excellent wine list and the true dishes of France!
Owner Dave DiSimone had our special table waiting, and of course, never a moment passed without his or the servers attention to detail!
Thanks, my friend!

Wonderful French Cuisine
The food is amazing! Authentic and very tasty! I had the soup de jour which was a cream of Spinach and was very good. I had the steak frites and the steak was well cooked and had a huge amount of flavor. The wine paring was excellent. The service was excellent. The place is kinda quiet during the week but I can see how a weekend crowd would love this place~!

Nice patio dining
It was a beautiful night in pittsburgh. We were able to enjoy a delicious dinner outside on the patio. Great evening. Merci

Coq au vin to die for
Ok, I love coq au vin, even when it's bad. But I've had it in Lyon (terrific) and Paris (so-so) and Bridge Ten's is the best. If you're partial to this dish, don't miss it!
8/10/2013 12:00:00 AM
Food is great
The food is great here. I had striped bass in a broth that I thought was marvelous. My wife had the steak fries and enjoyed it. A little quiet for a Friday night but we enjoyed the quiet.

Provence Food and Wines
This dining experience was special--a night celebrating the wines/food of Provence where we will visit in 4 weeks. Food was great--monkfish with sauce of capers, tomatoes, etc was especially good. The pizza appetizer with anchovies was good though I confess that though I love anchovies on Caesar salad, I am not a fan of anchovy-topped pizza. Highlight for me was the bread and European butter which our waiter kept refilling. Wines were explained succinctly but capably by a wine enthusiast from Dreadnought Wines. There were 6 in our party, all of whom will be going to France with us (and one, of whom, raved about the anchovy-topped flatbread). Overall, an excellent dinner with wine pairings and very good value at $55pp.
8/20/2013 5:00:00 PM
This was our second visit to Bridge Ten. We enjoyed the food & service the 1st time, so decided to bring a guest who prefers French food. We all liked our meals, the server was well versed in preparation, ingredients and wine pairings. Unfortunately, the place was like a morgue during prime time on a Saturday night. A few people out on the "patio" (we chose not to be seated there due to the road noise and very limited view), and we were the only ones inside. They definitely need to do more advertising and some kind of promotions to get more diners ... the food & service are really good, but hard to say the ambiance was good since it was so empty. Also, on both visits we experienced confusion re: Valet Service.

Love the food, love the people, love the ambiance - I say go.

Fantastic French Find in Pittsburgh
Since dining in Quebec at multiple French restaurants years ago, we've sought the same kind of service and food in the local region - mostly without success. Well, that has changed with B10B. Though they were out of fois gras on the night we were there, their special (lamb loin) more than made up for it. The escargot was excellent, as was the cream of spinach soup for appetizers. Our waiter (meticulous, attentive and knowledgable) suggested an excellent pinot noir wine pairing, which could not have been better. In fact, to this point, it is the best pinot I've ever had. For desert we had the crepe suzette and the chocolate pot. Both were wonderfully done. We will definitely go back.
8/27/2013 12:00:00 AM
My husband and I had our 3rd anniversary dinner here last night and it was absolutely fabulous!! The cocktails - handmade martini and peach bellini - were amazing. The escargot was the best I've ever had; my lobster crepe was amazing and my husband's lamb stew with polenta was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We had "Dave with the dreads" as our server and he was beyond accommodating and knowledgeable; hopefully he'll serve you if you go in. This has become one of our favorite places in the city!
9/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
All I wanted
Brasserie was simply as good as I gets. We were wined, dined and treated like rock stars. It was one of those places where you stop to reflect on each bite for a second to give proper reverence. We had mussels, swordfish, and lamb stew (melt in your mouth). Absolutely Terrific!!
9/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
Got to go!
One of the best meals we've had in a while, and the best polenta I've had on this side of the Atlantic. The only problem? My wife and I were the only ones on the restaurant at 8:30 on a Friday night! So please go! It's not part of the Holiday Inn, and the slightly arrogant but charming and funny French waiter knows everything about the food and the wine. You can't go wrong. Nothing should prevent you from hitting this truly fantastic restaurant.
My wife and I shared an awesome pot of mussels, I had the lamb stew and polenta and my wife had Filet Oscar. The crab pieces on it were huge, the asparagus was cooked to order perfectly and the sauce was as memorable as the polenta.
We're definitely going back – even if no one else does!
9/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
Good food. Quiet atmosphere!
When we went for dinner there was no one else in the dining room. The waiter was very attentive and gave suggestions and his point of view on different choices He was very expressive although some of the clicking and mouth sounds to show his approval of choice were strange and a little distasteful. The French was an added ambiance and the room was decorated tastefully. The wine I had was exceptional and the salmon and steak were done very well.
A good choice for good food at a reasonable price.

The owner Dave and his chef have put together a wonderful menu that include French classics and innovative dishes.
David, our waiter, made wonderful suggestions on food and wine pairing. The grouper, filet oscar and coq au vin were all excellent dishes. The pot de creme was a nice way to end a meal. I would recommend this to anyone who is a food fan

Date Night Gem
This was a fantastic doning experience! To be honest.... I cannot compliment the chef or waiter (David) enough! My wife and I will definitely return. We were so inspired that my 40th birthday (quickly approaching) will be spent in Paris! Merci Beaucoup!

Our favorite Pittsburgh restaurant!
Terrific food and ambiance. Staff is top notch, including John behind the excellent bar.

Upbeat dining experience
The menu at Brasserie Ten is truly classic French (definitely brasserie style), which surprised and delighted us. Though we didn't find that the dishes we ordered were quite up to what you would find in a brasserie in France, everything was quite good, and the wait staff was knowledgeable and very friendly (not over-friendly, just welcoming). We had a very pleasant dining experience.

Celebrating Christmas in October
Our children gave us a gift certificate last Christmas, and we finally got around to using it. My husband and I were very pleased with the service, friendliness, and especially the food. As a main course, we both chose an excellent sea bass, and were very glad we did. From the appetizers to dessert we couldn't find anything to complain about. We hope to return soon.
10/24/2013 12:00:00 AM
My wife and I went out for a long awaited date night and were surprised to find we were the youngest people there. The food was okay and the service was very good. We would go back but since we get a night out so infrequently (two young kids) we will try another place first.

This is a sophisticated yet
This is a sophisticated yet casual French bistro on the South Side at the foot of the 10th Street Bridge. After a warm welcome from Le Patron, we enjoyed a lovely brunch featuring classic French bistro fare, including Les Ouefs Savoyarde and the Monte Cristo sandwich. Nice wine list and recommendations from the owner, who writes the wine column for the local newpaper. Great views of the river and the city skyline during the day. Night time must be even better. bIf I lived in Pittsburgh this would quickly become our go-to place.
11/9/2013 4:00:00 PM
The bar was jammed this past Friday so we ate in the dining room. Service was excellent; the entrees were even better. My friend enjoyed a combination of clams and mussels and I had the filet. Hard part is not filling up on the delicious bread. A nice evening.
11/14/2013 4:00:00 PM
We went to this restaurant for my birthday. I have allergies and asked for no salt please. The French waiter said, oh, juste un peu, that means a little. I had poulet roti, which was delicious and also haricots vertes. They were awesome. However, the dish was piled high with french fries, which were covered with salt! So, I could not eat them. I also had the creme caramel for dessert and it was the best I have ever eaten. Really large, creamy and delicious. There was a wonderful accordianist playing for quite awhile when we were waiting for our food, and this was a Wednesday night. I enjoyed this restaurant, but I wish they had been a little more considerate of my allergies.

French food from days gone by
The offerings are what you will get at a traditional french brasserie. Not haute cuisine, but fine food in the traditional French style. Nice wine list; friendly skilled service and even an accordion!
11/22/2013 4:00:00 PM
Food was very well prepared.
Picked them off Open Table because they were close to the hotel and my girlfriend and I wanted French cuisine. I had the half-roasted duck, which was excellent although the potato side dish (was almost an au grautin casserole) stole the spotlight of the main course. My girlfriend had the lobster crepe, which was also fantastic. However, the incredible experience and reason for the 5 star food rating really came down to the appetizer and desert. A special of the evening was ox-tail and duck confit crepe with roasted pistachio and spinach - simply phenomenal. One of the best dishes I've had in over a year. Crepe suzzettes was also incredible.

One of Pittsburgh's best
Terrific food and ambiance. Staff is top notch. Always friendly service at the bar. Most welcoming of any local restaurant.
We are longtime members of the Pittsburgh chapter of the American Wine Society and have heard similar comments from other members.

My husband and I went here for my birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I got the duck and he got the seafood special, and we both got the french onion soup. Our waiter was extremely helpful, and really knew the menu and made great recomendations for wine pairings.
