While a bit overpriced, it was very good. We were very impressed. I've already made reservations to go back with friends.

We really enjoyed our first
We really enjoyed our first visit to Eat Shop. Looking forward to a return visit to try the outdoor patio.

When we went on Sunday evening, it was empty. It has a nice "vibe" and looks like it can accomodate almost any size of a group. The bar area was large and inviting, with an appropriate number of televisions to watch sporting events. The dining room is divided into two. There is a "chef's table" if you want to reserve that. The menu had some interesting items on it. The wings were "okay." The roast beef sandwich was quite good, but sloppy to eat. The chicken sandwich was good. Fries were great. Side salad was warm/hot, and not very flavorful. The Cowboy Burger was tasty, but the "regular" burger was bland.

Enjoyed this restaurant very
Enjoyed this restaurant very much. It was our Easter dinner and we weren't sure if they would have a special menu or not. It turned out to be a non traditional Easter dinner but thoroughly enjoyed our Scallop entree and Lamb entree. We are anxious to go back. We have visitied the bar after a movie on a few occasions and have enjoyed the selection of appetizers.

Fantastic food, a neighborhood gem!
My family and I love Eat Shop. We come here about twice a week. The menu is solid American with a focus on scratch cooking and fresh ingredients. The place is great for a group get-together or a romantic dinner (though it can get noisy). I'm so glad they opened in my neighborhood.

Fun menu selections in combinations that you don't see everywhere. Our table of 4 enjoyed 3 different salads - hot, steak and BLT, all delicious and really well prepared - and the house-made sausages. The service was a bit slow tonight (this is our 3rd visit), which we couldn't figure out since we ate at 5:30 before an event.

This is certainly an improvement over the previous restaurants in this location. Food was good. I enjoyed their rigatoni with duck confit and mushrooms. It must have looked good because my wife kept taking bites. On previous visits to their bar I have found their bar menu items to be very good and worth the trip. I have heard mixed reviews since this restaurant has opened, but I think they are finally findinig their niche and are putting out good food at reasonable prices.

Nice trendy joint in Plymouth!
Our networking group met here on a Tuesday ($10 bottles of wine on Tuesday -- although the selection was a bit low -- so that was a good thing if you like basic American table wines). The food was adequate (typical American fare out of the Sysco truck it seemed, but then again, most places serve that kind of stuff nowadays). But the service was fabulous (Bobbi), the ambiance fun/trendy/bright/airy and the bar selections (other than the $10 wine) were great.

Living up to expectations
The Eat Shop was hopping on Saturday night. I'm so happy to see a full restaurant. The food was wonderful. We thought they may have tweaked some of the dishes a bit with seasonal ingredients. It's nice to have a favorite refreshed now and then.

Great night out!
Yet another amazing dinner thanks to Chef Michael and his team! This restaurant is truly the gem of the west side of the cities. Amazing food, great atmosphere, great service - it has it all!

We love this place!
This was our second visit to Eat Shop and we loved it!! This time we were able to dine outside on their patio, meet the owner and also one of the cooks. It was just a very relaxing experience at a very personable place with food that excited us. The salmon is wonderful, and we have many more dishes we wish to try ! We tasted the homemade meat meats on the apps platter- yum.
The jalepeno margarita is perfect! Cannot wait to try a burger someday ( they have a large selection) We liked dining outdoors as the inside is a bit stark and the noise level can get high.

Finally a restaurant on the west side that can compete with the city for food and class. We selected Eat Shop for our anniversary and the food and service was great! Try a specialty drink, you won't be disappointed. The calamari was some of the best i have had. Looks to be kid friendly too in a non intrusive way.

Great non-chain option in Plymouth
We had been meaning to try eating here before but finally went. They have a very wide selection on the menu and the food is above average. The house made sausage is excellent and it took me back to my days of living in Germany. The outdoor seating looks like it would be great place to be if the weather starts cooperating.
All in all, we'll definitely go back as we've been longing for more options like this in the western suburbs.

Great food but loud atmosphere
I thought that Eat Shop had a great variety on their menu so able to cover the adults and the kids. I loved the different meal variations and appreciated the original takes on food. I had the scallops and the whole meal was amazing. What I wasn't crazy about was the noise level. I was part of a group of seven and it was very difficult to hear each other. That along with the waitress's casualness made the whole evening less special. I wasn't looking for a stuffy place but would have liked to enjoy the great food in a more quiet atmosphere.

Great food, service, and ambiance! The menu has something that will please everyone. It's a must try!

Chefs are stars despite the decor
This restaurant needs to decide what type of restaurant they want to be- the dinners are A++ to rival any fine dining restaurant in Minneapolis- St. Paul- the menu has a larger selection of burgers/salads. We dine here for the main dinners. The ambiance still feels like a sports bar-but I commend them for lowering the decibels on the music since our last visit. It is nice that you can dine gourmet and not have to negotiate the city and dress up. Eat Shop did not disappoint- this is our 4th visit and the salmon is always spot on. Had the scallops ( I do not like scallops) and walked out a believer- the dish was incredible! I cannot say enough about the cooks.! Staff is friendly but not as refined as the chefs and cuisine deserve.

Cuban Burger = great burger
We enjoyed a lunch today. Our server was careful to point out that the Cuban burger was actually all the traditional Cuban fixin's on a burger! Yum! With a side of crunchy sweet potato fries, we were all set. The initial service was prompt, but the burger took awhile to come out of the kitchen. It was early in the lunch rush, so that was odd, but the burger was worth the wait.
