Great food and outstanding
Great food and outstanding service. Hope the crowds grow as this is a great restaurant -- with an outstanding selection of fine wines.

BEST MEAL IN SAVANNAH!
After reading an article in Savannah Magazine about the new chef, I decided to give B. Tillman a try. I have been disappointed with the lack of innovative and well executed plates in Savannah. My meal at this restaurant was by far the best I have had in Savannah (and Atlanta for that matter) in over 10 years. Every appetizer, salad and entree was delicious and thoughtfully created. I have been back twice in one week and everybody I have gone with has agreed that their meal has been outstanding. Ingredients seem to be perfectly matched and foodies will appreciate the amount of effort that goes into every component of the dishes. Foodie or not, if you like good food, this restaurant is a must try. You will not be disappointed.

took a friend there for a birthday celebration -- didn't know anyone who'd been there, but wanted to try something new. Food was surprisingly good (some of the best I've had in town) and service was friendly and helpful. I always love a place where the chef comes to the table. You could tell he was proud of the meal -- he should have been! It was wonderful!

Great New Neighborhood Restaurant
We would highly recommend this restaurant for our friends and neighbors. Byrd Cookie Company has found a great addition to its store. We had a wonderful dinner but they are also open for lunch and Sunday brunch. You really need to check it out, Savannah!

Glad we tried B. Tillman!
Friends had mentioned there was a restaurant in the Byrd Cookie Co. but we never thought much about it. Thanks to OpenTable, we remembered it and decided to try something new Friday night! First off, what a beautiful place! The designer has turned it into an absolutely lovely atmosphere. Second, the food was excellent! Many unique choices and they were all good. The prices are reasonable for a very nice dinner. My Sea Bass was delicious, my friend raved about her Chicken Ceasar Salad, and my husband was satisfied with the flounder. The cornbread pudding fell a little short of his expectations but he still enjoyed the meal and said he would return! Looking forward to our second trip there.

Great food but oh so tiny drinks
The only problem was the wine and drink portions were very very very small and of course pricey...not club pours and would discourage us from coming back. Beer was the only good deal.

The food, the new chef, and
The food, the new chef, and the atmosphere transport you momentarily out of Savannah and offer big city quality in the heart of Savannah!

Byrd Cookie's B Tillman
Feels like a little hidden gem! Menu is a nice mix of fish and other great food, with a nod to the South.

The Best Food!
The ambience is divine, quite chic...in fact felt like we were dining in a big city. Yet, most importantly the food is the best we have had anywhere in a while, the golden beet soup, the calamari salad and the flounder were all superb. We know we love the hamburger, too as we have gotten it several times and we have even get it as a take out. I know this restaurant has evolved since it has opened and the word needs to get out as to the fabulous food it has now as it use to have limited choices. I give it a very high recommendation!

Our BLT's very just delicious. The basil aioli was a special taste.

We went the Saturday of restaurant week. We were early for our reservation and although there were many empty tables we were told we could not be seated because the kitchen would be too busy. We went to an attractive bar area to have a drink. There was no bar tender and finally the waiter who was doubling as host came and took our drink orders. We asked for a menu. There were many attractive sounding offerings. We were seated at our reservation time and decided to try the special offering for the week. The liver pate was excellent as were the desserts. The duck cassoulet was not quite what we expected, but my husband enjoyed it. It was a pleasant evening with good food, but if they get a crowd I'm not sure they could manage.

Interesting food with southercharm
The hamburger was great! Love the pumento cheese topping and fries very good. Had the fries at lunch and dinner but lunch the fries seemed more fresh/crispy. They may have sat around more at dinner. Server was very nice but upon leaving I asked a girl at the check out if I could buy cookies and she said she didn't know? I asked about 15% discount on them and she said I may have to come back tomorrow for that at the store. I finally said "will you ask someone?" And she left to do that. She should have jumped at the chance to sell merchandise. Most people would have just left. Another server ran up and said she would ring me up at the bar otherwise great experience

Definitely worth going
Our group of 6 all had delicious entrees and chef made a gluten free soft shell crab that was wonderful.

This was our second visit. On the first, we thought the food was great, but the management and organization was a little confused. This time the food was still really good and there was a hostess who was friendly and professional (no hostess on first visit) and wait staff was excellent. There was not a very large crowd, especially for a Saturday night so I hope the word gets out that this is really worth a visit.

Good evening at a reasonalbe price
Seven of us had dinner. Hamburger was good but way overpriced. Fish was excellent and fit the price. Nice atmosphere considering the building used to be a Lowe's. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Good evening at a reasonable price.

Very good overall
Wife had the prix fixe lamb dish which was very good. It came with an ample and delicious shrimp appetizer and also dessert. 3 of us had the burgers and we all agreed they were as good as we've had. Fries were very good as well. Portions were large enough for the biggest of eaters. Waiter was outstanding.

Downtown Cuisine in Midtown locale
Dining here is all fun & no hassle. The suburban setting offers easy parking & the huge dining room affords comfort & privacy. The food is imaginatively prepared locally sourced making for an outstanding meal. The modest corkage fee & its own retail wine store colocated give the already satisfying wine list a vastness unmatched in city.

Locating B. Tillman was a challenge since it was dark and tucked away behind a more prominent restaurant building. After a quick phone call, we realized we were looking right at their front door. How much of a tourist can you be? Once inside and comfortable, our decision to visit was well rewarded. Menu, staff, ambience, just wonderful. Truly a lovely Savannah-style dining experience that will make you feel local and welcome. We were so impressed that we visited a second time on our way home. Repeat customers are always a true indicator of a quality experience.

B Tillman Review
I brought a friend to this restaurant, and we had an excellent lunch, with very attentive service. I will definitely go again, and recommend to others.

We were so impressed by our first visit the previous week that we made sure to stop again on our way back north. This establishment is just a treasure. Menu, staff, creativity, all equal a dining experience that will not disappoint. The competition of better known restaurants is a test for B. Tillman that they are more than able to meet. So, my fellow tourists, try them once and you will agree that a second visit is more than justified.
