Great Italian bistro in Louisville
Excellent! Good service, great food, generous wine and beer selection, reasonable prices - definitely a repeat. Porcini-truffle homemade ravioli - best I've ever tasted.Mozzarella bar with lots of options for appetizers plus great appetizers. Great for dinner or quick lunch (order & pay at bar, find a seat, and wait for server, convenient for getting back to work). Can't wait to spend some summer eves on the patio.

Nice place that we will revisit. Food was excellent. I had a chicken and roasted artichoke dinner that was perfect and light. Service was a bit slow, but our waitress was very friendly.

Always wonderful food at a reasonable price, I'd heartily recommend Parma as a great restaurant and a wonderful Louisville find!
Don't let its location fool you; you'll be grateful you tried it.

This is REAL Italian food Colorado!
Originally from Boston, where the Italians didn't just immigrate to the USA - they brought Italy to the USA. Nowhere was this more apparent than the exquiste cuisine that still prevails in the city's North End. Shortly after moving to Boulder two decades ago - locals directed me to two mainstreet Louisville restaraunts that represented "the best" the area had to offer. I thought I had moved to another planet. "Really???? This is Italian????" Finally - Parma delivers what Italian cusiine is all about - authentic, consistent, with dishes that bring you to there origins in Milan, Naples, Florence, and Rome. Awesome food, very well run establishedment by people who know what they're doing - and care a bunch about the product they deliver!

I miss Parma
I used to work in Broomfield and am now in downtown Denver. I miss Parma tremendously. The food, the staff, the atmosphere. What a great find. I highly recommend it although I don't want it to get too crowded. It's a great suburban eatery!!

Graduation Dinner Saved
I very nearly did not find a place for my graduation dinner with my family, but Parma Trattoria has space available. Our waiter was amazing; he gave lots of excellent wine and food recommendations. In addition, he graciously took as many pictures as my mom asked for! I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, it was rich, salty, and the pasta was well cooked. My dad got a special with chicken stuffed with sausage, sooo good. I would highly recommend this restaurant for an excellent down to earth meal, with a good atmosphere!

One of the best Italian restaurants in the metro area. Great food, friendly service and a quiet, romantic setting. Highly recommended.

We had a fairly large party to celebrate Mother's Day (9 people +kid) and had a fantastic time! We met at lunchtime, which does not have full service (more counter service, where you get your own drink refills, etc.) but it worked out great for our family. This restaurant is so fantastic that my family regularly talks about traveling from Highlands Ranch area to come for dinner.

A real addition to Louisville
This is quickly becoming one of our favorites. The food is great and the staff works hard although some (many?) are rather inexperienced. Generally not a problem and the food make sup for it. This is easy to recommend.

A Very Pleasant Evening
We found Parma to an unexpected treat.
We live close by, and we decided to give it a try.
We will return!

I invited friends for dinner and chose PARMA TRATTORIA MOZZAZARELLA BAR. The ambience, the service and most of all the food were perfection. Everyone was delighted to have found such a special place.

The bread is incredible!! The pizza was great. You will enjoy this neighborhood gem.

Chicken Broccoli dish
I had the chicken broccoli dish several weeks ago. It had a lot of liquidy creamy sauce at the bottom of the dish; I loved that the chef had been generous with the sauce, and that I could wipe up the sauce with a little bread. This time the sauce wasn't so liquidy and the chef wasn't that generous with the sauce.
It was the first time at the restaurant for the rest of the people at the table; they all thought the food was very good.

Went with 6 (4adults 2 kids). Definitely recommend reservation on wkends as this place is pretty busy. App from mozzarella bar was fantastic. Could have had that as my whole meal. We had pasta, pizza, chicken dishes. Perhaps best pizza in Denver. Thin with lots of great cheese. Should have expected nothing less from a mozzarella bar! Will definitely be back soon. Can't wait to try dining on the outdoor patio and coming in the winter when the central fireplace is on.

Our lunch group loves Parma
We are a group of senior citizens. Parma has become one of our favorite places for a group lunch. The service is always good, there are lots of delicious food choices, it is easy to get to, and there is plenty of parking.

Creamy Polenta: not like Moms!
My wife and found a true Italian food emporium! Having spent over 6 weeks in Northern Italy over the last 20 years, Parma has been transported from there to Superior, Colo. The menu has something for everyone who enjoys Italian foods. The salads were excellent portion size, fresh, crispy and a nice mix of flavors. We both selected an entrée that Forno style Polenta. The Polenta is creamy, cut into triangles and baked to have a crusty outside. My entrée was a Gargonzola and mushroom sauce on Forno Polenta. What a pleasure to the eye and tastebuds. My wife's entrée was Veal Piccata with the Forno Polenta. Having been raised in an immigrant family of N Italy, we never had polenta like this or I would never left home if we has meals like this.

Great Food, Slow Service
We went to Parma for the first time on recommendation by a friend. The food is AMAZING! Best Italian food I've had in a long time. My only complaint is it took about an hour and a half from arriving to get our main courses. We did have bread and appetizers. We were celebrating a birthday and it happened to also be Father's Day so I think they were just slammed. We will definitely give Parma another try.

Terrific dinner experience at Parma
We needed a restaurant in the Broomfield area to host dinner after a small family wedding. Found Parma through Open Table and booked it based on reviews. Turned out to be a terrific move. Emilio, the owner, arranged to have Prosecco and wonderful appetizers waiting when we arrived. Entrees were amazing, particularly the lamb chops (meaty and perfectly seasoned and grilled) and fresh pasta. Cheeses were divine. Small but good wine list. Delectable desserts. We had a couple of serious foodies in our group who had just returned from Italy and they raved about Parma's food. We're happy to have found it and will return whenever we're in the area.

Who would expect a fantastic Italian restaurant in a shoppette off of 36 in Lafayette. Not me but Parma is out of this world with a very extensive menu with different tastes for all. The food is delicious from the first bite to the last. Yummy!!!
6/28/2013 12:00:00 AM
We will definitely eat here again. Parma has an extensive and varied menu, including vegetarian and gluten free selections. Food is well prepared and delicious. The mozzarella-with-condiments appetizer was tasty--it was nice to try several different kinds of mozzarella. The wine specials were good and reasonably priced. All four of us enjoyed our entrees. Our server was quite knowledgeable about the selections and provided good guidance. The tables are somewhat crowded together and the noise level is fairly high.

Parma - a treasure in Louisville CO
Diined at Parma with a party of four. Had previously hosted a dinner for 18 there. Both experiences were outstanding. The food is incomparable -- all fresh, perfectly seasoned, truly authentic Italian. Returned because our first experience was so good. Now Parma is on our "must visit" list.
7/27/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great food, however all tomato sauces were the same, including the bolognese, which wasn't really bolognese.
Otherwise everything was great - loved the lobster ravioli.

My new favorite
We thoroughly enjoyed Parma. Although it was quite crowded, our table was ready and waiting for us.
Our wait person was a delight & we had top notch service from all the staff. Without being intrusive, someone was always there to make sure we were enjoying ourselves.
The food was excellent, including the bruchetta to go with drinks, chicken parm and meaty lasagna. Too full for dessert! The bread delicious.
For two of us, the price for 2 glasses of medium priced wine, sangria, bruchetta and 2 entrees--with tax & 20% tip was just overt $80. A bargain in my opinion.
Since it's bistro-like, especially on a Friday night, DO NOT expect a quiet, romantic place. I liked the lively, neighborhood atmosphere! Can't wait to try the mozz bar!

While it was a busy night, our dinner was served in abour 20 minutes. This is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The food is always well prepared and the service is always well intentioned. Really always a solid very good and occassionally an excellent here and there.

Almost an ideal meal!
From the bufala mozzarella to the bruschetta and 3 out of our 4 entrees, everything was fresh and delicious! However, the quality of the veal in my veal Picata was very below average. The meat was tough and grizzly, and the sauce was runny and not up to Parma standards! I have eaten at Parma about 10 times, and I will continue to frequent the restaurant sans the veal.

Taste of Italy Out West
While visiting my son and his wife in Colorado, we wanted to eat out at a restaurant that wasn't a typical chain kind and had good food. They also have a 1 year old baby. Luckily we chose Parma. The food was delicious. I ordered the Colorado Trout to taste some local fare. It was pan seared to perfection served with potatoes like my mom used to roast. My husband enjoyed the pasta dish, and my son raved about the scallops. His wife had the veal that also was great. Even the baby loved the meatballs. My husband said they taste like the ones I make at home. We are Italian and so we are picky about eating out at Italian restaurants. But everyone was pleased with their meals at Parma.

Another Great Dinner
I've never had a bad meal at Parma and Saturday night was another example. All of us had a great meal and thoroughly enjoyed the evening!
8/24/2013 12:00:00 AM
The food was good, the service was good. They had interesting vegetarian options as well non-vegetarian options (which even in Colorado, can be hard to find some times). The outdoor seating was very nice. They comped us a dessert for a birthday and that was very nice. Would go back. (We went on Labor Day, so there were not a lot of people there, so not sure about noise level when it is full, but noise level when we were there was fine.) Good suburban find.

Very Good, Authentic Italian
My favorite local restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service is friendly and competent. I've never been disappointed by any dish, but I especially enjoy the lamb chops with rosemary and roasted potatoes, the polenta puttanesca, and the homemade ravioli. My kids love the pizzas. Prices are reasonable--$10 to $20 per entree. And don't miss the mozzarella bar!

This was a special 42nd anniversary occasion celebrated with close friends and family. Lisa was our superb waitress and we will always ask for her by name in our future visits to Parma.
The food is indescribably unique and creative without departing too far from traditional Italian style cooking. Everyone loved their choices from the menu. I've had before and highly recommend the lobster ravioli with pink vodka sauce. On this most recent visit I thoroughly enjoyed portobello mushroom-stuffed ravioli with white cream sauce, really delicious. Always have the frozen limoncello-based desert, a heavenly sorbet-style concoction unlike anything I've ever experienced before....truly world-class. .

We've been to Parma a number of times and have recommended it to many friends. No complaints yet! Nice family type environment and reasonably priced. On the weekend, you are often greeted by the owner.

Parma, what a pleasant surprise!
We dined recently at Parma in Louisville for the first time. The food was amazing and the service excellent. The only issue we had was the noise level. It was difficult to hear each other at the table but once the food arrived no one cared.
The value was great and we highly recommend you give Parma a try.

unexpected find in strip mall
If my daughter's boss at her job in Louisville had not known about this place we wouldn't have either! But it has an ambitious menu that thankfully included some appealing gluten free options. Food was delicious, plated attractively and generous in portions.
I had the veal parmigiana - my 1st impression was that it was overly salty. Once I got past that the rest was delicious - veal was tender, lots of gooey mozzarella. My daughter had the baked polenta dish - which she loved. We shared 2 appetizers - shrimp scampi and artichoke with a lovely alioli. We also shared the chocolate gluten free dessert - a feast for the eyes and taste buds.
Our waitress was efficient but kind of clipped. Maybe it was just her personality.

Best Italian on the Front Range
After spending nearly a month in Italy this summer, we've been on a quest to find Italian food in the Denver area that rivals the fantastic food experiences we had in Italy. Parma is hands down the best Italian food in the area. The food is fantastic and there are always interesting wines on the ever-changing list. With a menu the size of Italy itself, along with great daily specials, we'll never tire of coming here to try new dishes.

A super experience. Went for the first time, loved it, took friends there the next week for a special occasion, they fell in love with the restaurant as well. They took friends there just a few nights later, have two more fans!

Best Italian in metro area
My wife and I try what is reported to be the best of Italian restaurants in every city we visit. We have yet to find one that beats Parma! The menu is diverse, and every dish I've tried has been superb. We are not big drinkers, but the wine selection is adequate for us, and the pour is fair! We've eaten here about 10 times now, and we look forward to the next 10!!

Great Food, Good Service, Too Noisy
We went on a Saturday evening (6:45), and like other weekend evenings, the place was VERY busy. There were delays in getting seated (even with a reservation) and getting our drinks, but I can't fault the staff -- they were busting their butts.
The food, as always, was very good. We went with the three-cheese mozzarella bar appetizer -- a tasty treat, though I wish the serving size of the condiments (but not the cheeses) was larger. All of our entrees were great (if a bit rich).
Our server was very friendly, and as attentive as I could expect.
My only real complaint was the noise -- the restaurant is packed with tables and there is nothing to break up the sound. It is very difficult to have a conversation.

Parma is a great resturant for lots of choices of Italian dishes. Lots of appetizers to choose from. Wonderful place to go for a family dinner with children. Definitely recommend the chocolate mousse for desert. Waitress was very accommodating and returned often to ensure that we had everything we needed.

Thank you for the excellent service
We had a business dinner with some out-of-town guests at Parma at the service was exceptional! The food and wine were excellent and the staff went above and beyond in their accommodation of our requests. Our guests enjoyed the experience and we had a very pleasant meal.

Went for the food...
...but was impressed by the service. Food was excellent, but if your service is bad it colors everything else. Our server was attentive, friendly and on top of anything that we wanted - it was a Saturday night and the place was packed, but she was there anyway.

Great food, excellent service attitude....great place for lunch or supper at great value
10/30/2013 5:00:00 PM
My friend that was having a birthday said she wanted to go here for her Ladies Lunch. Service was good, food was tasty and reasonably priced (Lunch). Since there were 9 of us, there were a variety of orders and everyone loved their dishes. Those that had the polenta enjoyed it but it was more like an appetizer size.
We all want to go back again with our spouses. What a great find tucked away amongst other businesses!
10/31/2013 5:00:00 PM
lacking in sense of customer and service...the very young wait staff is more interested in appearing cool than being attentive

Stopped in for happy hour, and was pleasantly surprised! The happy hour menu was very reasonable and the food was really good.

Our waitress was very nice, helpful, and checked in on us the perfect amount of times!

Great find....food and experience.
Picked Parma purely by chance---meeting friends from out of town who were staying in Denver; we live in NoCo. Would go back purely by choice! Casual atmosphere; wonderful choices in food--small plates allow for taste adventures without being overly full. Friend appreciated the gluten-free options at an Italian restaurant. Wait staff was pleasant and helpful even tho very busy. We left satisfied and ready to return soon.

Since moving to Colorado from the East Coast several years ago, we have been disappointed meal after meal. Parma has broken the chain! Excellent & fresh tasting food, presented beautifully by excellent service. We will go hear again when we are in the area. I can only say OUTSTANDING !

Best quality Italian in Colorado. The chef will mix and match, or make a special order. Not many places do Veal in Colorado; they do here, and it is the best.
