Craving that blues
Their redesigned menu is great, and although the vegetarian selection is limited, the Mac and Cheese I had was perfect. Friends loved the spicy burger(the Heat Seeker), but what you really come here for is the music. For those who crave a little blues with their burger. Our server Nicole was outstanding!

My Favorite Chicago Experience
As a resident of the city of Milwaukee, I find dining at the House of Blues(Chicago) a nice, enjoyable experience. Whenever I buy tickets for a House of Blues concert, I always make it a must to dine there before I venture upstairs for the show. The House of Blues dining and concert experience is my most favorite thing to do when visiting Chicago. Thanks House of Blues! You guys are great!

I had the Tilapia and it was quite tasty but the portion size could have been slightly larger. The vegetables were very delicious and the serving size was adequate.

We had a very good dinner
We had a very good dinner at the Crossroads and then went upstairs to see "Toots and the Maytals" and all in all had a wonderful evening. Good drinks, good food, and excellent waiter.

THE best steak I have ever had
THE best steak I have ever had. Hands Down and I am a steak lover. You won't be disappointed at all in the food. Service was top notch. The restaurant was a bit loud, but all the other positives made up for it. Definitely a hit for my customers I took there.
4/15/2013 4:00:00 PM
Could not have had a more fabulous time! The HoB knocked it out of the park yet again! The food was to die for, and the dining experience and ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic.
5/13/2013 4:00:00 PM
We went to Crossroads for dinner before The Dan Band. We had the cornbread to start which was really good. I ordered shrimp and grits. The sauce with the grits we really good. I had the soup of the day which was vegetable, outatanding. Our waiter was attentive. The food was brought out timely.
5/16/2013 4:00:00 PM
This was my first time at the H.O.B. Chicago, and it will not be my last. Food and drinks were fantastic! My friend and I probably had the best mixed drinks that we have had in awhile--everything seemed fresh and not from a bar mix. Our food was equally as delicious. My steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The one thing that really impressed me is that there is a gluten free menu available, and there several options on it. The only complaint (and it's a little one) is that there are no gluten free dessert options.

A small group of us had dinner at the Chicago House of Blues when visiting the city recently. I expected routine menu offerings and was pleasantly surprised. The offerings are not only unique, the quality far exceeded my expectations. I am a very picky diner and will state, the Juicy Lucy is the best burger I've ever had. Kudos ! Another in our party had the Jambalya (and generously shared a taste), is rivals any I've tried in the south.
The atmosphere in the House of Blues is also exceptional. I absolutely love the decor and overall style of the interior. The only negative comment is the gift shop pricing. Call me frugal, but I refuse to pay 50 for a sweatshirt - even at the House of Blues.

Great service, Great Food. Our server Granville and the manager Brian went out of their way to provide an exceptional time, Thanks to them and the staff of the Foundation Room for a great evening!

Music and dining experience!
Great place to dine at and listen to Blues in Chicago!!!!
5/30/2013 12:00:00 AM
I'm not a frequent customer, I was at the place once 10 years ago and now, this past week - I leave abroad and Chicago is has not benn much visited. So, my opinion is one data point with a just flash perception on evreything - for me it's a place for musice - excellent band performance, sound;lights, all perfect! Food is OK, my perception is that this is not the focus of the house - but want to say that it could be better exploit (even at higher prices!!!).
5/31/2013 4:00:00 PM
Food was very good. I had the fried chicken which was was incredible. Others in our party had filet mignon & the poor boy and they loved it. Only downside is the live entertainment. It was way too loud, you have to shout to carry on a conversation. Not a place I'd take kids.
6/8/2013 12:00:00 AM
great taste, had the shrimp and avocado street tacos they were excellent! The shrimp po boys excellent also shrimp tasted fresh. Absolutely loved the salsa verde delicious!

Fun Girls Night Out
It was great venue for our group, but after 9pm it got a a bit loud for conversation. The food was fantastic and the right proportions.

Missouri Boomer from RT 66
I was in Chicago for a blogger conference and I wanted to dine with a bit of flair. The Chicago House of Blues was just the ticket. We arrived shortly before the live music began. Our server was super friendly and very helpful and didn't steer us wrong. Food was absolutely fabulous. Make sure you are hungry because you won't be disappointed in the taste, quality or amount presented to you. Once the band started the atmosphere jumped through the roof! We were delighted with our entire dinning experience and will definitely be looking up The House of Blues on our return trip to Chicago in July.
6/22/2013 4:00:00 PM
My family and i really enjoyed the ambiance of the House Of Blues. The food was excellent and we had very timely service which was very important to uur group as we had reservations for a show at 8:00 pm. We had three children between the ages of 9-13 and they had a great time looking at the Fantastic artwork as well as chowing down on the awesome burgers.

We enjoyed our visit. We booked
We enjoyed our visit. We booked a table online and added a comment regarding our son who uses a wheelchair. When we arrived our table already had a spot for him with a chair removed so we could roll him right in. The food and service was great, everyone enjoyed the music. It started at about 8:30pm and we had finished eating so could just sit back and listen. We would come here again next time in Chicago.

Courtney Love Concert 2013 Dinner
Food was great...drinks rocked...dinning hall was so beautiful....and our server, Robyn (aka - Ray-Child), was one of the best servers we have ever had. And the venue and concert was AMAZING (as usuals...one of Chicago's best standing venues)! 5/5 Stars for this venue and restaurant! THANKS...A+++. My mother and I recommend this venue and restaurant more than any in the city of Chicago...And the "Pass The Line" option is so cool and what always get's us in the front of the show!!! ROCK ON!!!

Surprisingly great food
I must say the overall dining experience was far more than I expected, and even more than my sources prepared me for. The atmosphere was "alive and vibrant" (a.k.a loud), but one should expect nothing less from a prestigious Blues establishment. This was our first Blues experience and, though we're not quite sold on the vibe, we couldn't have picked a better place for our inauguration.
Now for the good part. Whether you like Blues or not, there simply is nothing negative to say about the food. The "Street Tacos" were the surprise hit of our weekend trip to Chicago; and we ate at some much "higher end" restaurants. Though overpriced, you have to order the cornbread with your meal, as it rounds out the Crossroads experience.

Relaxed tone at the Crossroads
Had a great evening with a friend. The food was very good, the music (a three-piece blues band) was excellent. This is a fun place. Judging by the entertainment in the main Concert Hall, it has gone beyond a "blues" club. The Chicago location is great, close to the river. Makes for a nice walk back to wherever you are heading.
8/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
We had dinner at Crossroads before the Mickey Hart show. I had chicken and my husband had shrimp and grits. Both were particularly good and I don't think I've ever had a more flavorful and moist grilled chicken. Not an extensive menu, but what they have is great.
8/8/2013 5:00:00 PM
Wyenjoyedall Great evening with vgood entertainment. V.good food and good beer selection. It was great to see our local micro beer was available( Dale's Pale Ale, Longmont, CO).
8/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
Given that Crossroads is in a large tourist spot like House of Blues, we were mixed on what to expect. Crossroads impressed us immensely with their food. We had a hard time finding our server to pay our bill, but otherwise everything was excellent. The food was very much above average, particularly for the price point. One of the better food experiences we've had in Chicago at those reasonable prices - highly recommended! We each tried the Heat Seeker burger, the cornbread, and one of the flat breads. Really delicious, balanced and not too heavy. The flavors were pronounced and not muddled.

It was our first time here, and we had a fun lunch here. I honestly didn't even know the House of Blues had a restaurant until someone told us to try the cornbread. We had a great waiter and a fun lunch and the cornbread was delicious. Will probably go back during an evening when there's a live blues band. Kind of quiet at lunch.

My wife and I were lately in House of Blues. Great place! We were just visitors in town so we choose this place by ourselves.First we were seated in one of the booth were the view not that great, but as soon as we asked our serving waiter if we could be relocated she did it for us right away giving us the best seats in there. There was a band playing that night and were very much enjoying it. The food was great ( especially rib eye steak i had). We left the place with nothing but pleasure felling of nicely spent evening. Will recommended it to our friends who wish to visit Chicago.

I had a great experience at the restaurant. My party was seated right away. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable. The drinks are a little pricey but tasted good. The food was good too. Great start to a night of good food, good music, and good times.

First time in Chicago
This was my first time in Chicago and a special event for me and my sister and it was just that fabulous our server Matt was amazing. Definitely the best place I have ever eaten.

Great Pre-Show Dinner
My friend and I went to Crossroads for dinner prior to a concert at the House of Blues. Our server was terrific - friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu, attentive. She asked right away if we were attending the concert and explained the "Pass the Line" privilege if you eat at Crossroads before a show. Our drinks and food were all served promptly.
Our meals were very good. While both of our steaks were perfectly cooked and delicious, the highlight for me was the appetizer -- Voodoo Shrimp. Seriously yummy. I would go back again just to have that!

If you are seeing a show at
If you are seeing a show at HoB, the attached restaurant is perfect for dinner beforehand. Prices are very reasonable and portions are quite large. The food is delicious too!

We had such a good time at Crossroads. Our server, Jen, was super cool and we liked her alot!
The food was awesome and so filling-we were about to burst!
The atmosphere was fun and then we saw a great show upstairs! :)
10/18/2013 12:00:00 AM
I absolutely LOVE the shrimp appetizer with cornbread. The sauce on that is so good I have to restrain myself from licking the plate, and my only comment would be that they make it an entre and add more cornbread. It is amazing and has plenty of shrimp, but the sauce. OMG the sauce!

Good time at the House of Blues
Our reserved table was in a great spot. The music was excellent. The service was ok. The wait for our food was long. Much longer than usual. The quality of the food was not notable (neither bad nor excellent). I take a group annually to the House of Blues in Chicago and have for the past 4 years and we have loved it! The atmosphere is wonderful, a novel experience for some in our group, and we definitely go for the music, not the food; however, this is the first year that the food wasn't as good as usual and the service not excellent. We will definitely go back, this experience won't stop us from enjoying the excellent music and atmosphere.

Skip the line
A perk of eating here before a concert is you can skip the line and go in early. The food is good though and that is a plus.
11/13/2013 4:00:00 PM
fun before a concert
Makes your evening to House of Blues complete. No standing in line! Food is good. Our server, Kit, was great! We love to go there before the concerts.

On our honeymoon
We came to the House of Blues to see a concert but, we also wanted to try the restaurant. Our server was awesome but I would have liked a better seat. Right next to our table was a bench and bar stools for people from the bar and two very annoying high school kids were literally staring down at us the whole dinner. It was awkward but, the food made up for it. Amazing prices too

We went to Crossroads to celebrate my daughters 36 birthday she loved everything about it the food was wonderful, service great and the music was very good. We only had one bad experience we had phoned to question about the parking facilities and were told if we valet park it was $18 which is what w did we did not worry about how long we were staying because we were truly enjoying the music and it was only going to be $18. We were livid when we found out that was not true and are parking was $29.
