Fortunately, the wine and beer selection is better, but not great, in the restaurant than at the bars in HOB. A serious bar selection upgrade is needed in the music venue.
The food was much better than expected. We enjoyed the shrimp and grits, voodoo shrimp and HOB salad. And "Pass the Line" worked like a charm.
Very good service.

Lunch is the best time to eat here. Not really busy even though the foods pretty good. Kids meals are good size portion. Wait staff is attentive. House of Blues salad with grilled chicken had a really good balsamic vinegarette. Nice music in background. Would go back.

We went for lunch and received
We went for lunch and received excellent service. The food was above average but, this is the House of Blues and entertainment is what would you come for. Since it was lunch it was not very lively but, I would expect it to be a very different place at night.

Break from cajun/creole routine
Lobster Mac and Cheese, with bacon and mushrooms added, was phenomenally good. Top shelf margarita left a bit to be desired (too much sweet and sour overwhelmed taste of tequila). Business associate had pulled pork sandwich which they enjoyed. Bread pudding was an A-/B+ level. Overall, very good pub food in a pub food setting and better than normal pub service.

From the moment we walked
From the moment we walked in the energy level and atmosphere created for a great evening. The food and service were both amazing and we couldn't resist trying a couple of the drinks with souvenir cups. After a quick trip to the gift shop we enjoyed the last half hour of open mic comedy in the garden courtyard and it was an entertaining show, the young man hosting was quite funny. One of our best evenings in New Orleans.

Group business dinner
We had a group of 10 and this was a great place to do it. Food was good, music fun to listen to during dinner.

Going to a Concert
We were attending a concert at the House of Blues and decided for conveinece to eat there. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was - we ordered the Portabello Sliders and Marinated Steak Salad and both were DELICIOUS!!

It was my first time dining at Crossroads and I loved it!
The food was good and the service too. I loved the vibe of the place, great for a good late-night time.

Funky and fun
Great little hideaway place. Food was good with a lot of atmosphere! We were looking for something that had good basic food. We were surprised at the atmosphere. Staff was superb. The bread pudding for dessert was to die for! Go and have some fun!

Staff were very friendly. Food was above average. Decor was fun. Option to eat inside or on patio. Patio had live musicians. Upstairs had music with crowds cheering and could be heard during dinner but in a fun way, not disruptive really. Atmosphere was casual and fun. Would return again.

The atmosphere is great, the food was delicious, the service was great and I enjoyed the music.

Ate dinner while daughter and friend attended a concert there. Food and staff were 5 star quality. Never felt rushed despite us hanging out till concert finished. Staggered meal so we had plenty of time to enjoy and relax. Must try Voodoo Shrimp.

Even better than expected
We originally planned to dine at Crossroads for two reasons: 1. We were attending a show at the House of Blues, so it was convenient. 2. We love chef Aaron Sanchez. The menu did not disappoint, and was reasonably priced. It was hard choosing just one entree! Our waiter had to help me choose, and did a fantastic job. The ambiance made for a great night out; there was always great music on, there was not a shortage of decorations to look at, and the lighting gave such a cool atmosphere. We would love to go back when we are in town to try more things on the menu!

Went here for my husband's 40th birthday and the food was better than expected.

Our server and hostess were
Our server and hostess were both excellent and so helpful. We wanted to go to the show next door so the hostess called to check on if tickets were still available and even offered to go next door (if I was using cash) and buy the tickets for us while we ate. She also explained how to use the "pass the line service" since we were eating in the restaurant. We did that and were able to sit on the first row for the show! Our server was excellent. So sweet helpful and happy. Great service. Food was good also. Bread pudding was delicious.

fabulous hidden spot!
HOB was tucked back a little off the road but what a great place! The food was very good and service was outstanding. The staff members were very attentive but not so much that we could not enjoy our dinner and conversation. I will plan to return to this spot when we find ourselves in New Orleans again.

good time but expensive
went to house of blues on a saturday night at 7pm, the place was not very busy, we had reservations, but there wasn't a wait, not sure what that means, most restaurants in the area had long lines out front. food was good but not great, service was good, but not great, overall place was good, but not great. our Tab for 4 adults and 2 young kids hit $200.00, for that much I would expect a great experience.

This restaurant was gr8! After dining at several of the more well-known spots, I found that this place was the total package. The food was so delicious (especially the voodoo shrimp). The menu has reasonably priced items that taste really good, compared to the more known restaurants where you pay for the name of the restaurant and the food is only decent. Ambience is cool for a night at the legendary House of Blues with nice tunes to fit the occasion! Check it out for yourself... it s definitely worth a visit!

I must say it took time for me to find somewhere to have my birthday dinner. I did a search and asked people about the Crossroads and know one has never been so I picked this spot. I'm so happy I did! My table had its own area in the restaurant which was perfect. The staff was so nice, and the food was awesome. Can't believe I have never been here before. I will definitely be back!!!

NOLA's Crossroads @ House of Blues was a fun.
The staff were very courteous & attentive. There's a nice menu with fish, chicken & local favorites jambalaya & seafood.
The swordfish was excellent. The jambalaya had just a tad of heat & the fried chicken portion was huge (1/2 a chicken). Needed just a bit more seasoning, but not bad. There's also the long list of available specialty cocktails (ie insane hurricane) which are a nice reason to stop in. But finally, my favorite, which had me returning the next night was the warm banana bread pudding. Excellent is the only word.
For french qtr, it's reasonably priced too.
Go. You'll enjoy. Try to get there on a night when they have a live act. It will enhance the experience.

Love the atmosphere. The music is there and makes you just want to start dancing on the table. Food and service was great. Can not beat it. Will go again soon.

We were celebrating our anniversary. From the time I made the reservations for New Orleans HOB to the time we left everyone was amazing. Corey our waiter was GREAT! Gave great suggestions and was always checking on us. I would ask for him again! The food is unbelievable. Save room for desert....we suggest the white chocolate bread pudding!! We had a great time and will absolutely be back.
10/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
The food was great and the service was amazing. Not at all what we expected. We we prepared to be disappointed after reading other reviews.

Corey, our server took EXCELLENT
Corey, our server took EXCELLENT care of us. He was attentive but allowed us to take our time and enjoy our drinks and food. There is no better way than to attend a concert at HOB than to have dinner at Crossroads and then get in the VIP line to enter the concert venue.

Awesome place, excellent food
It is a similar version of Hard Rock Cafe but the food is more tasty because of the NOLA flavors in cousine. The music is an amazing character of the restaurant. Prices are affordable and the service we got was amazing. The menu is not very big but it is complete and very good for a restaurant. no complains in this place, just had a great great time. I am wanting now to get to know the other ones in the other cities due to the fact that they implement the taste of the place where they are located.
