Great Food, Nice Atmosphere
The food here is surprising in it's simplicity. Truffle ketchup (who knew?), perfectly fried calamari and yummy salad that makes you forget you're eating healthy. Very nice mid-upscale feeling without the stuffiness which means you can bring your kids. My only complaint was that my waitress had no idea about wine with her reasoning being that she "doesn't drink." It was a weird, awkward response. I wanted something along the lines of a hearty zinfandel; she gave me a taste of what she thought might be comparable. By "taste," it was literally the amount of backwash and it was more like a 2012 Beaujolais than anything resembling a zinfandel. That said, that was annoying but hardly a deal-breaker. This is definitely on our re-visit list.

Delicious. Fresh. Creative.
Delicious. Fresh. Creative. We ordered almost entirely off the app menu and loved every bite.

The menu was lacking in entree
The menu was lacking in entree options. The menu used to have more appealing options. The appetizers and mixed drinks were excellent.

Great Neighborhood Spot
Easy, relaxed atmosphere with great food. You really couldn't ask for more. On nice days, there is seating outside.

We were absolutely thrilled with our brunch! The food was positively delicious (salmon/brussell sprout hash was amazing & the vegetable sandwich was very tasty); there are so many great items on the menu and we had a difficult time choosing what to order. I wasn't a huge fan of the dessert (chocolate cake and guava cheesecake), but my husband enjoyed them. We will definitely be back.

A perfect spot for friends that had never been to Brooklyn. Everything was perfect except the veggie entree that fell a little flat. Our server was incredible--efficient, fun, interesting. We'll be back soon.

For Before the Movie
If you're going to the Cobble Hill Cinemas, this is a great place to have dinner (or lunch) beforehand. It's across the street. The menu is not extensive, but the food is great. Prices are moderate. Noise level is suitable for conversation, especially is you sit outside in the warm weather. We'll definitely be back.

Our waiter was wonderful and didn't rush us even though it was busy and one of our party was late. The food was delicious and the ambiance lovely. Our only complaint was getting lukewarm coffee way in advance of the desert. We asked for another cup so we could have it with the desert, but it never came.

Watty & Meg Thanksgiving Prix Fixe
Good value at $35 per person. Good ingredients, but plated indiscriminately. The turkey was thick slices of white meat, half OK and half overcooked and dry, and only a one narrow strip of dark. Restaurant standard gravy (no turkey broth, no giblets). Hard surfaces (mirrors, shiny ceiling) = noisy. We had to talk loud. Service was slow to take orders, but the waiter apologized and comped us the 22 oz. bottle of pear hard cider we ordered. The pre-prepped dinner specials came very quickly. They work hard and are anxious to please. We'll probably go back on a non-holiday night or weekend brunch. It's several cuts above the various restaurants that have occupied this space. Raspberry sherbet merely OK; chocolate gelato amazing.

Perfect Turkey Day
A wonderful Thanksgiving meal! I was so happy that they also offered the full menu so some could dive into the traditional trimmings and I could stick with the yummy Kale salad!
