Slightly different menu than
Slightly different menu than the Dutch in New York but still good. This restaurant is trendy (located inside the W) and feels very much like you're dining in Soho than in SoBe. Food was good but not outstanding. I ordered the tagliatelle with lamb ragu while my friend ordered the pork chop.

Great dinner, great service!
I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Bismark was our waiter - ask to be at one of his tables. Service was impeccable, gracious, knowledgeable and contributed greatly to a wonderful experience. Oysters were fantastic. We preferred the Kusshi oysters to the Tottens as the Totten had a minerally finish (which Bismark told us about). I also had the steamed red snapper, which was light, delicate and cooked to perfection. We finished with ice creams and sorbets. The sorbets, especially coconut, were some of the best my wife had ever had - comparable to what she had in Italy. Great experience! I would recommend an early reservation, ours was 6:30, before the rush, and the servers had time to really give great service.

Very impressed by the food here. Would definitely go back next time in Miami. My son raved about the Banana Cream Pie.

Love this Chef, he is so creative, and his dishes are original and excellent!!
loved the combinations of spices and flavors, nice and light, but very tasty,

Delicious and fun
We dined at The Dutch based on a recommendation from Chef Aaron Sanchez from Food Network. The Dutch combines an energetic, casual atmosphere with delicious, creative food and outstanding service. The whole vibe is decidedly laid back. The server described dishes in detail and was very attentive. We started with a watermelon cocktail that was fabulous. We then had three dishes. The first was a spicy watermelon and yellowfin hamachi. The watermelon had been marinated in chili water so it took on a spicy, juicy character. This is a dish I would return for over and over. The next dish was lamb belly over couscous. Wow. I love the flavor of lamb and never really encountered lamb belly, which has the texture of a pork belly but the flavor of a b

Down home on SoBe
Located adjacent to the W Hotel Living Room, The Dutch delivers quality American style food - not low brow but fun riffs on down home cookin'. Try a Perfect Storm cocktail to start and then move on to a good wine list. Helpful service directed us to great oysters, and a terrific mahi entree. Desserts were good, and the salted caramel sorbet knocked us out. The only problem was the outrageous tab! Sort of a buzz buster. Be careful. But have fun.

Great Food and Great Atmosphere
We had dinner there on a Friday night and while it wasn't super busy, it did fill up soon after we arrived (8:30 reservation). We chose the skirt steak and the lamb pasta dish for our mains and both were excellent. And the in-season stone crab claw as an app was perfect. Would definitely go back.

our miami getaway...
The highlight of our vacation was our Sat. night dinner @ The Dutch. Special thanks to the chef for taking the time to prepare my husbands red snapper to his liking.

good food, great scene
Food was solid albeit slightly limited in selection. Service was excellent as was the ambiance. If you want good SoBe food experience while being in onw of the most stylish and beautiful hotels around, this is for you.

I'm still confused as to why this restaurant isn't more popular. The food is amazing and the service is top notch. One of the better restaurants with respect to quality of food in Miami. Also the ambiance and service is great too. Only downside is it's a bit on the pricey side.

Our reservation was at 8:30 pm but we were running late and the hostess agreed to move the reservation to 9:00 pm. Good atmosphere and service. While we enjoyed the food the portions were a little small. In terms of dessert, I would definitely recommend the banana cream pie.

I'd eat there again.
The food was inventive and the service was top notch. The place had a nice look and feel to it.

Their specialty is seafood and they killed it! The oysters and lobster salad were unreal. We also had the steak and it was amazing. Our waiter was fabulous, but the environment was a little abrasive. Not recommended for a first date, unless both of you are into seafood and hitting the clubs after dinner!

Recommend by our bar tender friend at Turnberry Isle. Very cool decor, awesome selection of oysters. Had a great experience.

Delicious food, (especially loved the ribs), attentive service, nice upbeat ambiance.

Should be on your short list of to-do's when visiting SouthBeach and in every locals regular rotation. Chef Conor and Pastry chef Josh are rising stars and are excellent extensions of Chef Carmellini.

Definitely will return
We went to try their Miami Spice menu. I had the arugula salad with watermelon, almond and feta. It had a light and flavorful vinaigrette. For diner I had the ricotta agnolotti on a tomato sauce. The pasta was light and had a delicious hint of lemon. Dessert was one of the best Pecan Pies I have ever had. They have a great list of cocktails and wines. Service was impeccable. Our server was very knowledgeable about all the dishes our table was having.
8/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
Best ribs I've ever had! Polenta was the creamy and delicious, corn soup as well. And their smokey old fashions WOW-with bacon infused bourbon. Will definitely go back. Prices not outrageous for South Beach.

One of the best meals that I've had in Miami. The Miami Spice menu is amazing. I'll be back soon.

Great food and great service
We enjoyed thee most valuable Miami spice
menu with three delicious dishes.
8/18/2013 12:00:00 AM
We asked the waiter's first choices from the Miami Spice Menu. Each dish he suggested we liked the best. Just a suggestion, to ask the waiter's picks.

The bartenders are top notch. The Miami Spice menu is a super value. Excellent food. Plus, the spa at the W, Bliss, has extended Spa Month offers through September.

Excellent service & delicious food!
We had a lovely dinner on the terrace overlooking the beautiful garden behind the W. Our server, Jonathan, was excellent. The field greens salad with shaved vegetables was a large portion tossed with just the right amount of tangy vinaigrette. The FLORIDA MAHI, STEWED MOROCCAN TAGINE, ROCK SHRIMP, YOGURT was sublime. My husband had the STEAMED RED SNAPPER, COCONUT CURRY BROTH, MINT which he also loved. The Pecan Pie & Coconut Sorbet for dessert was superb. We will definitely return to this restaurant.

Really really good food & cocktails
Will be sure to return to try other dishes. Our raw snapper was super, as was the coconut pie. Lovely specialty cocktails.

Wonderful restaurant in the W
My husband and I had dinner here last Friday night. It is located in the beautiful hotel W. We arrived and were seated right away to a cozy table. Our waiter and the somelier were both wonderful. Very knowledgable and nice. The food is divine! The ricotta ap is delicious with herbs and spices and bread to dip. I am a vegetarian and ordered the pumpkin ravioli. Wow! Sage, kale and pine nuts! I was in heaven. My husband had the tuna tartar and it was great as well as his steak which was cooked to perfection. Rare. The restaurant is very romantic and perfect for a date night. The host also came by the table to check up on us. We will come back.

Food didn't disappoint
Each of our menu selections was great as anticipated. The service was a bit hovering...too many people doing too many things that weren't necessary, and the ambience is a bit institutional, being in the W. However, we would go back since the food is the star.

My date and I had gone to
My date and I had gone to the Dutch for Thanksgiving. The meal was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to see a selection of their regular menu in addition to their Thanksgiving special. The scallops were amazing! It was also really nice to see the grounds of the W Hotel. The only draw back of the evening was our server. He was very pushy, wanting us to add items to our tab. It made both of us uncomfortable. Beware of the service and let the food speak for the restaurant.

Great food, bad service
My friends and I are at the Dutch on Saturday night and had an overall good experience. I had a fried clam slider and the flounder over basil polenta and both were delicious. While our server was very nice, he first did not bring our wine until we had finished our appetizers, then each time the food came to the table whoever brought it was not sure who ordered what, then they mixed up one diner's order which left them waiting a half hour into the main course for her food, and lastly never brought the coffees we ordered and charged us for them anyway. With all that being said, I still had a fine experience because of the delicious meal. In the future, though, I hope the Dutch Miami raises to the service standards of the Dutch New York.
