This is a very special restaurant,
This is a very special restaurant, in New Hampshire's oldest operating inn. The innkeepers/restauranteurs provide a variety of dinner dishes, both imaginative and typical top American cuisine, using as many local products as available.

Worth the drive
We so enoyed our Easter dinner at The Hancock Inn this year. We hadn't been there since the change in ownership. They have expanded the dinning area. They offer nice choices and had high quality service. We will go back soon!

The watermelon salad is fabulous!
I love it when a restaurant keeps old favorites on the menu and at the same time and adds wonderful new choices like the delicious watermelon Salad with its interesting blend of ingredients.

Historic Hancock Inn
The Inn is historic and has all the charm you'd expect. The dining room is quiet, the service attentive, and the owners personally made sure each guest was happy with the experience. The Inn is in the beautiful, rural village of Hancock, and not far from lovely Norway Pond. A great little trip for those who don't live in the area.

HI doesn't disappoint.
The salads are varied as are the entree's. The creme brulee' trio is EXCELLENT! We always enjoy eating at the HI, and the Innkeepers are welcoming and attentive.

A hidden gem
Who would have thought that food this good was to be found in the middle of a sleepy old NH town? My favorites are the lamb burger and beet salad, but there are many dishes not to be missed and the menu changes seasonally. We are regulars and enjoy being known to the owners, but you are assured a warm reception if you are a first timer as well.

Rustic & tasty
The hancock inn has been beautifully restored, and has a warm "old new england" feel. The owners are welcoming, and they have a great chef. Very creative menu, with some tried and true stalwarts, but with new additions all the time. The menu follows the seasons, and features many locally grown offerings. We eat there regularly, and are never disappointed...
