New York in Myrtle Beach
My dining experience from a NY foodie here was superb!!! Warm and friendly service from start to finish!!!! Beautifully prepared cocktails served in Art Deco type glasses. Food was high quality and served properly!!!! As a native New Yorker I can say I felt like I was enjoying one of my favorite NYC haunts!! The pasta was al dente as the duo entree was heavenly!!! My friends and are will be back on our next visit!!! Thank you staff or a wonderful experience from start to finish!!!

Why go anywhere else...
Our Monday spot. I have plenty of money and plenty of choices in town. I could go anywhere, but seem to gravitate towards Bistro 90. Excellent attention to detail and an at home hospitality feel. We generally sit at the bar, but have dined in the main room as well. Would definitly recommend over other NMB area Italian restaurants and some Myrtle Beach so called prime chain steakhouses. Some of our favorite items are the calamari, veal chop, lamb chops, filet, and Wagyu Tomahawk chop. They even added some of our favorite wines to there ever growing list.

Excellent food and service! The best rigatoni alla vodka I've ever had! I just wish I lived in the area so I could come back every week.

Best meal my husband and I
Best meal my husband and I have ever had in the Myrtle Beach area. A true gem indeed. From the 26 oz ribeye to the pineapple bread pudding, the food was fantastic. My husband compared it with Smith & Wollensky's in New York City. WOW! We'll be making this a regular stop each time we're in town!

Excellent food and Roland is the ultimate host. We come from NYC and eat here every time we come to town(afew times a year). A quick ride from Myrtle Beach and well worth it.

Can't say enough good about
Can't say enough good about this place. Wonderful food served by the best. They will customize their dishes to your likes and dislikes. Was there this last time on a friday and they had a piano player/singer. She was great - soft and quiet, so you could enjoy the music but still have dinner conversation. I believe it is the BEST Italian restaurant in the area, and we make it a point to go there everytime we are down in Myrtle Beach.

Our favorite place.
We are recent transplants from New York
and are happy we found Bistro 90.
It is our number one place to dine. The
Stuffed Veal Chop is fantastic and huge.
We had the soup instead of the salad
on our last visit. It was a Gumbo. So good
we hope it becomes a regular menu choice.
Music is great, atmosphere charming. Staff
Great. We will be back often.

One of my favorite places
One of my favorite places to go when I am in the North Myrtle Beach area. Roland, his staff and food are always on point and we are treated like family. A true must for anyone who has not been there yet. Look it up and go, you will not be disappointed.

We are new transplants to the area, what a great find. We have been here a couple times for lunch and have enjoyed it , the food and service here is wonderful. On this visit we were here for dinner as it was our anniversary, we both had fillet mignon s that were nicely aged and cooked to perfection, the risotto was incredible. Our server (Aaron) was fantastic.
If your visiting the area and wish to get away from the over priced and fried food places stop into the Bistro 90, we have enjoyed very fine lunches here, which have included salads, pasta dishes and beverages (non alcoholic) for around $30 for 2.

Special Occarion Dinner
Our family stopped in Myrtle Beach on our way back from Disney. My wife and I renewed our vowes on the beach on Saturday with our 3 kids. We found Bistro 90 on several sites that said it was very good. We got there about 7:30 and the parking lot was full, always a good sign. We walked in and the place was full and the environment was warm and inviting. The combination of different smells was out of this world. I didn't tell them anything about our day, but from the moment we walked in you would have thought they knew we just got remarried. The service and food was fantastic. best Ribye I have ever had. The owner chatted with us like we were old friends. If you like food you have to go, if you don't your missing out on the best place in MB

If you are visiting Myrtle Beach and looking for somewhere that would be more like eating in a real city, this is the restaurant for you. The food is excellent, the selection is very good, and the environment is outstanding for a relaxing dinner. We visit Myrtle Beach each year for vacation, and we have been sucked into many tourist trap restaurants with long waits for bland, oversized portions served in a noisy environment. While this restaurant may not be the best if you are trying to drag along a bunch of children (especially with multiple strollers), it is a great option if you are traveling as adults or you can have a night out without the kids. The location is a bit out of the way, but since it is inland the traffic is not an issue.

A Fabulous Find!
What a gem! We were very excited to try out Bistro 90 and get away from the traffic and congestion on the Grand Strand. The service was top notch: the hostess was incredibly polite, the waiter was attentive and funny, and the owner even introduced himself within minutes of sitting down. It reminded me of restaurants in the Northeast, where they know the importance of relating to the customers.
The food was outstanding. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented. From top to bottom, our experience was fantastic! Amazing food, very reasonable prices and excellent service. We will go back as often as we can!

Off the beaten path
We've been to Bistro 90 about 6 or 7 times now, and it has become our local "go to" restaurant. It's located on Rte. 90, which is off the beaten path of Rte. 17, the main tourist road in Myrtle and North Myrtle Beach areas. It is a favorite of locals. The restaurant is very clean and has a wide variety of cuisine, varying from hand made pizzas to seafood, to Italian pastas, steaks, veal, etc. Want something that's not on the menu or cooked special? All you need do is ask, the owner is always on premises to oblige. The service is always outstanding and my wife and I love this place.

7/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
where have you been hiding?
This restaurant is a few miles west of Myrtle Beach, but what a treat! Food is great, as is service. Chef is willing to customize and be creative. This one will definitely not make my list of restaurants to be 'chopped'; I look forward to the next visit!

We read all the reviews, especially how well they treated the kids.
We had a 7:30 PM reservation, and were seated on time, but
our waitress didn't take our drink order for another 15 minutes,
and drinks didn't come for another 15 minutes, a total of 30 minutes,
just to get our drinks. Order was then taken around 8 PM, but
didn't come out until 8:50 PM, a long 50 minute wait for kids,
and for the adults, too, as everyone was very hungry.
We did get dessert, which took another 20 minutes, and we
didn't leave until 9:45 PM. The food was quite good and tasty,
but we felt the wait between items served was a bit long. We
went on a Friday night, and the place was really busy and the
waitress did apologize for the long delays.

Recently, while visiting Myrtle Beach, we were looking for somewhere to eat that would not require a 2 hour wait, would have decent food, and wouldn't be a tourist trap. As I often do when traveling, I turned to Open Table and found Bistro 90. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. While a bit pricy, it is worth every dime. We would definitely go back.
7/31/2013 12:00:00 AM
Thanks for sitting us next to the music - outstanding selection of tunes - good that your crowded - food took a little longer than usual to get to us - listening to music didn't matter...

Made our reservation for 8
Made our reservation for 8 people using Open Table and when we arrived we were immediately seated. The restaurant quickly filled up to capacity. Within minutes of being seated a friendly waiter took our drink order, which we received quickly. We ordered a steak appetizer for the table and prior to its arriving the manager came over to kindly say he increased the size of the appetizer to cover the 8 people at the table at no cost...very nice! Our starter salads were fresh, served on cold plates and our main meals were hot. We all enjoyed the food and said we would go again. We all commented that if it was lacking anywhere it was a little in atmosphere, but still, we'd go again for Italian. A fun family place.

Discovered this place on Opentable. It was so nice to find a restaurant that wasn't geared soley toward the tourists. This place can stand alone most anywhere. It's not dependent on the seasonal masses. This is the type of establishment that locals support. Nice menu offering. Food was superb. Owner was present and made sure everyone was pleased. I dedinitely recommend this restaurant. I will be returning with my family every trip down.

We'll Be Back
I admire the wine list here: you can definitely find a good accompaniment for your meal. While our dinners were less than outstanding, the menu is still a better option than most other N. Myrtle Beach restaurants have to offer. Bistro 90 does a lot well. We were disappointed this visit in service that was friendly but not attentive, and in food that was executed with less flair and care than we'd experienced in past visits. My chicken park was swimming in its sauce; the ribs were not very meaty; the lobster ravioli special was bland and featured little discernible lobster. Still, we will return. We admire the owner's ambition and the menu's range.

Great dining away from MB crowds
Bistro 90 is on Highway 90 west of Myrtle Beach in a small shopping center. It is a popular place with the locals. A singer, Liz, provided soft music for the diners and accepted requests. You can use a small tablet and pen on the table to record your request and hand it to the server. The music was a nice addition to our meal and added to the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. My wife and I both ordered shrimp scampi over linguini and our meals were very good. The portion of shrimp was generous and tasted newly caught. Our salads were crisp and fresh. Seth, our sever, was attentive and checked back with us often to see if we needed anything. This is a great place to go to get away from the crowds and chains in Myrtle Beach.
8/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
A little off the beaten track in North Myrtle Beach, this place serves great food with a lot of variety. We will be coming back. Better than almost any place on the beach.

Heard the Ad...
We just happened to hear an ad on television and then looked at their website and the reviews (which were excellent). I then thought "I am not driving that far" Once I mapped it I realized it was not "that far". We live in South Myrtle and it took all of 15 minutes.
The menu as extensive, something for everyone and even had some entrees shrunk down to appetizer sized you could try them (shrimp and grits, EXCELLENT)
All of the food appeared to be made fresh, no frozen or pre-made PYA/Monarch stuff here.
Everyone at our table had a different appetizer and entrée so we could sample each others items. Everything I ate was delicious. I will definitely be going back again to even try more items. It will be hard not to order the same thing again

This was our 3rd time to Bistro 90. The food is excellent and the wait staff friendly and polite. The owner stops by several times during the meal to make sure everything is as you expected. Give the place a try, you will not be disappointed

Bistro 90 Fan
Bistro 90 is always a special treat because everything on the menu is delicious. I gave the service a lower rating because I am generally ready to leave once my meal is finished and we had to wait quite awhile for our check to be presented, then again for it to be closed out. There were several large parties that evening and I felt like there should have been more waitstaff available to manage the crowd efficiently. With that one detail aside, the menu is diverse, the specials are outstanding and the desserts are just divine.
9/14/2013 12:00:00 AM
Great basic Italian dishes and some great specials as well. The stuffed veal rib chop was the best! They have an excellent wine list also. Wild return.

Always a Pleasure
We dine here several times a month. This is our go to spot because it is one of the only restaurants to feature Kobe Beef and USDA Prime Beef in the area. The so called chain style steakhouses and their impersonators in the area boast about USDA Prime, but it is only USDA Choice meat. The owner was formally a butcher and ages and cuts all of the beef by hand. This place is great for an affordable lunch or dinner. In addition, their wine list is expanding and features an impressive 200+ selections. If you get a really nice bottle they even have a secret stash of Riedel Crystal Glassware to heighten the experience. Everyone should experience Bistro 90 and see what a hidden gem Roland has created.

Another Fine Experience
Although we only get to the Beach several times a year, we don't pass up a meal, usually a steak given the owner's background. We were not disappointed this time, enjoying a very fine 2009 Chateauneuf du Pape at a very fair price. Also found our favorite waiter, Steve, formerly with Sea Blue, who as always provided us with excellent service. Our meal was topped off with an invovative pumpkin bread pudding-not too sweet or heavy. Vocals by a pianist made it a very pleasant evening and we look forward to our next visit. We did express concern to the owner about the somewhat mundane garden salad, but with fabulous bleu cheese dressing; he was very much aware and apologetic. Said he had just found a new supplier.

The best kept secret in Myrtle Beac
We were told about Bistro 90 by a bar tender at the golf course, she said it was a restaurant not to miss. My buddy and I decided to stop and have a drink and appetizer on the way home to see for ourselves. WE WERE NOT DISSAPOINTED! The bar and the wine list is something that would give any of the restaurants in downtown Chicago a run for their money. We brought our wives there for dinner not once but twice in the same week. The first time we all had fish, the Sea Bass was to die for as was the blackened Grouper. Two nites later we came in for the steaks and it was unbelievabe, The filets were all USDA PRIME and they melted in our mouth's.

Seasonal dessert was delicious

Best in the area!
An outstanding restaurant. This is the fourth time to eat there in three months. Always some outstanding specials! This time they had Joe's Stone Crab Claws which were as good as it gets! Truly quality steaks. This is the best restaurant we've found in the Myrtle Beach area!

We had no idea this place existed! Found it on Open table and booked for Thanksgiving with no great expectations.
What a pleasant surprise! My brother-in-law is a chef in Atlantic City and was down for the holiday weekend. He said
it was all around excellent as did we.
I had there holiday special platter while my wife and brother-in-law ordered off the regular menu. All the food from appetizers to desert were first class.
