The food is GREAT! a bit
The food is GREAT! a bit on the pricey side but well worth it. We try to go at least a couple of times a month. If you like curry, this is the place to go! and it's in Broomfield too!

Best place yet!
This place is wonderful. The food is excellent and the staff were wonderful. We were seated immediately and the atmosphere was light and nice. We had no trouble. The staff really do care about customer service and they are always checking up on you to make sure everything is perfect. Highly recommended for dates, night out with friends and for those who want to try new food. This is the best Indian place around!

We had a hankering for some
We had a hankering for some high quality India food, did some research and found Azitra in Broomfield. What a gem! The service was attentive and timely, the cocktails were modern and delicious and the food was nothing short of outstanding. They had both traditional and contemporary offerings and a wide variety of choices. Our waiter answered each of our questions with a clear depth of knowledge of the menu. We looking forward to returning to this great establishment.

Azitra has a wonderful menu
Azitra has a wonderful menu beyond the usual tandori, dal and curries. They have created a very unique menu while keeping in some of the usual items, but added their own touch on several "classic" dishes. I like spice and requested three star - would probably go for four star next time as it barely had a bite.
I had the Lamb Josh *something* which was fantastic! Tender and lick the bowl clean sauce. The Tandori meat appetizer was great - the shrimp was the only one that was so/so. The only item I was not thrilled with was the lentil soup - it had way too much cilantro and I ended up not eating most of it.
Service overall very good.

Fantastic food, service & ambience!
What a great find! Living in England, we have many great Indian restaurants to choose from. Colorado hasn't been known for having the same until now in my opinion.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience...the food was fabulous, the service kind and attentive, and the owner is a delight! Hope this restaurant is discovered by many foodies looking for a great Indian culinary experience!

Azitra never disappoints
We've been to Azitra three times in the last few months and it's always delicious! When the place gets busy, the servers get a little frantic, but they are always apologetic and we're never waiting long for a water refill or more rice. We haven't had a bad dish at Azitra, and our friend from England says that their curry rivals anything he has back at home...quite a compliment! They have a great wine list and lots of delicious cocktail offerings. The cheese naan is amazing...and the Chicken Hariyali Lazzatdar is a crowd favorite as well. It can get a bit noisy when the restaurant is full, but nothing too bad, just happy eaters. Prices are on the higher side of moderate, but I usually have enough leftovers for a second meal. Eat here!

My boyfriend and I enjoy Asian foods and found Azitra to be one of the best Indian restuarants we have been to period. We have been to Indian restaurants on the East Coast and in Vancouver and I still think that Azitra is better.

Welcome to a New Indian Experience
The moment you walk into Azitra, you realize you're in for a "Modern" Indian experience. The decor and atmosphere rivals most contemporary restaurants. When you grab your seat and begin to look at the menu, there's so many choices of flavors to satisfy any palette. If you like spicy, then definitely try the chilli chicken. The Chicken tikka masala had great flavor, and the Naan bread came out hot and soft. The drinks are varied and delicious. Do yourself a favor and give Azitra a try and enjoy your dining experience. Try not to leave without trying the Gulab Jamun.....DELICIOUS!!
All that being said, the service was one of the top highlights. You'll be attended to in such a way, you may need to ask for a moment to yourself LOL

My tongue rarely gets to experience
My tongue rarely gets to experience such a plethora of flavors! This is not Indian food that hides behind cream and fried vegetables. This is delightful!

Not only is the food some of the best Indian dishes we've had in a restaurant , but their wine list is very impressive for any restaurant.
Great service to match!

Sometimes location influences your prejudices, and since Azitra is in a little strip mall a stone's throw from Walmart, I didn't expect fabulousness, but this is what we got! I should have known since it was recommended by a S. Indian friend of mine who knows his food (Indian & otherwise). Not sure if we got special treatment because they knew my friend, but it was clear the service people are interested in making the dining experience pleasant & prompt. Try the cauliflower appetizer - even my anti-vegetable son ate it. Vindaloo was exceptional. Saag was a bit rich for me but very tasty. Our friends were gluten free (truly sensitive, not because it is in vogue), and Azitra clearly marks everything that is GF. We'll definitely go again!

Get your Indian food fix
My wife and I enjoyed our favorite Indian dishes while on a getaway weekend to Broomfield/Boulder. This hit the spot!

Been meaning to try this restaurant, and saw it out on Open Table and the reviews were so good we had to try it. Having taken an Indian cooking class and trying Indian food in various locations around the world, we were thrilled with the quality of the food! Will become a regular dining experience! Best Indian food we've had in the Denver area!!! Can't wait to go again!

Great Introduction for folks
We took friends who were getting ready to head for London and wanted to know more about Indian cuisine before they went -
so they had an idea what to order if they ended up going to one while they were there. A great evening and a super introduction to Indian Cuisine.

Dinner at Azitra
We found Azitra while camped out at a nearby hotel while remodeling our home. We have eaten there several times and had wonderful meals each time. We are novices as far as Indian food, but the flavors have been amazing. Lovely people working there.

Food was wonderful, staff were very responsive and pleasant.

Indian at it's best
We are new to the area and trying out all Indian restaurants nearby. In Azitra, we finally found one that can live up to my favorite restaurant back home. Honestly, it's even a little better. Be adventurous and try the cocktails. The chai liqueur one is amazing!

Fantastic Food & Pleasant Ambiance
We and our grown son are all world travelers who really love authentic Indian food. It is hard to find in this country as it is usually too "americanized" or bland. This is the real thing while allowing you to choose your spice/hot level. The service is attentive. The decor is warm and contemporary. The food is out of this world. GO!

The food here is ridiculously
The food here is ridiculously good. We have been there 4 times and each time was better than the last. We love Indian food and the aromatic flavors here are way better than anywhere we have been! I cannot recommend this restuarant enough!!

As good as it gets!
I'm always on the lookout for the best Indian (my personal favorite) food in town. Azitra is as good or better than any I've ever had. I personally recommend the "Rogan Josh". I prefer it with lamb myself.
It's very classy and potentially intimidating. That said, I don't believe there's a dress code. So while I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Azitra for a nice date or even marriage proposal, it's possible you might see some grizzly adams types in flip-flops, since it's only 10 minutes from Boulder. I have yet to see that myself.
I would recommend you leave the crying infants at home...please. This is not a McDonalds or a buffet. It's a VERY nice restaurant with EXCEPTIONAL food.

Nice mix of traditional and modern Indian cuisine. Management is very polite and friendly. Food is fantastic. While not obviously kid friendly, we have had no issues bringing our three kids (10, 8, 6 months).

I was a little hesitant to try Asitra however their ratings had me interested. I actually found it to be very delicious.

Best Indian restaurant in Colorado
Have eaten at several Indian restaurants in Colorado Springs and Denver. So far this was the best overall dining experience !! Delicate and exciting food. Recommend it highly.

Surprise! It's great Indian food.
Went her with 2 other couples one of which had never had Indian food in her life. The waiter was patient explaining choices, styles, and ingredients of the dishes available and was extremely attentive to our group. It was a slow night for them, which may have made the personal attention easier for them to pull-off, but still they didn't HAVE to do that.
Very good wine list (not great but very good) and the food was as aromatic and flavorful as you would want and expect. Prices were a little high for Indian food, but you get what you pay for. This was worth every dollar.
If you're going to get heartburn and you are going to have a bunch of calories, but you want to make both worth your while -- this is the place.

don't pass up on this restaurant..
This is a must try. I've been to Azitra severl times. All thw dishes have been amazing and they use authentic indian spices that you dont find at other indian restaurants. Dont pass up this opportunity by going to the same boring indian restaurant.

Service was gracious but a bit difficult to understand through some of the staff's accents. My salmon was delicious, but my group in general found Indian is an acquired taste. sparkling clean andinviting; large open room. If you're an Indian fan don't miss it. Since food should be fun, this is worth a try
