Delicious. And let's face it, that's all I care about. Though they were very accommodating when we asked to switch tables, which was nice.

Great spot for the whole family
I was looking for a suitable place to bring my friends who were visiting from out of town with their 11-month-old baby. I wanted to take them somewhere that was a bit more sophisticated than a pizza place or burger joint, but still somewhere that would be kid-friendly. This was a great choice! It has a simple, chic atmosphere, is not too noisy, and has enough variety on the menu that there is something for everyone. The food was yummy but seemed a little Westernized--I'm not sure it is very authentic Korean food, but I'm not that familiar with authentic Korean food, so I guess I'm not really qualified to make that call. I would definitely go back.

The service was spectacular. Very friendly and very attentive. Our food was also very delicious. This was my 1st visit here and I want to go back because there area a lot of entrees that look like they would be good.

All of the pancakes have authentic
All of the pancakes have authentic Korean qualities. The meat mandu (dumplings) are the best of the three varieties. Closest to mom's cooking. The brunch platter was full of authentic Korean food, with some gim bap (Korean maki), Korean omelet, zucchini pancakes, julienned fried potatoes (too oily and soggy, but that is kind of authentic), and spicy marinated chicken (choice of meat). Well worth $13.

love Korean food! Take friends
love Korean food! Take friends who have never experienced Korean food, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to offer people new to the cuisine advice. The food is great providing Koren mainstays like Bi Bim Bap (including Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap), Galbi, Bul Goki, Chap Chae, Kimchi, and of course Mandu!!! Nice drink selection too. Don't forget Moochi for dessert.

Great Sunday lunch/brunch
Great Sunday lunch/brunch platter! Awesome deal, we were overstuffed with just this- and this included sorbet! We loaded up on the sojutinis, and had a great time here.

Mandu is my neighborhood favorite. It is delicious food, good service, cool vibe, all wrapped up like steamed/fried dumpling...which are delicious.

Du the Mandu
I have this in my list of go-to of restaurants. Easy to get reservations and are accommodating if plans need to change. Outstanding food, good service, and easy location make this place one of my favorites.

Went here for dinner with
Went here for dinner with a friend, and it was great. Food was prompt and rather big-portioned (1 entree satisfied the both of us), service. We came at a busy dinner hour, so it was loud, but there were plenty of dates around us as well. My only reservation is that there isn't much else in the area, which isn't the safest at night either, so it would be helpful to have a car/take the taxi.

Yummy in my tummy
Went with a cousin. My Korean BBQ was SOOOOOOOO FLAVOURFUL! it was amazing. His chicken was good too. Not as spicy as we wanted but everything was still really tasty.

We were treated like royalty.
Went there for a birthday celebration with a large group. Scheduling lunch was no problem at all even though the number in our group fluctuated. We were taken upstairs for more privacy. The service could not have been better and while only three of us had enjoyed Korean food previously, everyone enjoyed it and there were empty bowls all around the table. Most of us ordered bibimbap, some in a stone bowl, with one ordering a noodle dish. The staff & menu accomodate gluten free dining and vegetarians. We will definitely return to Mandu!

We sat outside because it was fairly noisy inside. The server was very attentive and friendly. The bulgogi and dak gui (chicken) were delicious, came with grilled veggies, and were generous portions. Only slight criticism was that they did not bring enough lettuce for wrapping so we had to ask for more several times.). We shared the pan-fried appetizers (one beef, one veggie) - we all liked them very much. Our son and our cousin each ordered the bimbim bap - both were happy. The portions were generous with lots of veggies to mix in. The chili sauce was spicy, but came on the side, so you could control the heat.
We were not rushed and stayed as long as we wanted (okay, until the rain started), and we would be happy to go back again.

Tastes just like its sister restaurant in DuPont but spacious. Authentic Korean!

Mandu was great!
I loved Mandu. Very good food. Get the Mandus for an appetizer. They are dumplings. You can get 2-2-2 which is a combo of all the Mandu varieties. They also serve soju (may be spelled wrong) which they describe as a liquor that is a mix between sake and vodka. Good cocktails.

friendly and helpful staff, great food, and great happy hour specials. I'll definitely come back again!

As always, Mandu did a great job accommodating my gluten-free diet. Our server was intimately familiar with what I could eat, brought out special versions of the table snacks, and was very careful in ensuring the gluten-free meals (for my dad and I) were brought out separately.
The food was incredible too! Mandu is my favorite restaurant in DC and I really adore the pan-fried zucchini and especially the dolsot bibim bap (which I get everytime I go!). The only thing that could make the experience better is if they manage to create a gluten-free mochi ice cream!
I continue to hope :)

Since eating plant-based, I've never had Korean food or thought it could be vegan-friendly. I heard so many good and bad things from friends that I figured I would try it out for myself. A friend and I - both of us plant-based eaters - dined here and loved it! We only had to make minor changes to dishes and our waiter was super helpful. I got the dduk bok gi. I hope to come here again and try more dishes.

Have been here a number of time and the food is always outstanding! The one major draw back this last time was the service. It was all over the place and I think we may have had a girl that was new. If she wasn't new I'm concerned, but if she was, I think the staff should have done a bit more to help her out-- she was pretty frazzled. I mention this only because service can really affect your dining experience, and everything would be great if the service could be stepped up a bit.

I was very impressed by the food, the service and the atmosphere! The waiter was extremely helpful in explaining different dishes and brought a sampling platter to the table. Overall I had a fantastic experience and would definitely go again!

Great experience for a large group
I brought 23 middle schoolers and their chaperones to this restaurant for dinner. Manager Eric seated us at one long table on Mandu's second floor, and served us an abundant and delicious family-style Korean dinner. The service was excellent, as was the food. The "K" Street Mandu is a great choice for a large group looking for a reasonably priced dinner in the heart of Washington, DC.

The servers, manager, and host are welcoming and attentive! It can make or break our opinion of a restaurant and i's a major reason we are regulars. Keep up the good work! C and L

great food, locations
i've been to both the mandu locations (dupont circle and chinatown) and they are both fantastic. their food is delicious and the atmosphere at both locations is excellent. i thought prices were fairly reasonable as well. would definitely recommend this place, it's great!

Keep coming back ,but....
I will always go to Mandu b/c I love the food and the atmosphere. I would note that the prices seem to have spiked, so I likely will be taking advantage of the happy hour more and more. Can't beat the happy hour!

Truly Korean - outside of annandale
What a great pleasure it was to dine at Mandu, K Street Location. I had been to the original Mandu when it first opened up as my friends knew the owners but didn't remember how good the food was; i'll definitely will be back.
