Excellent. Food was great and service was excellent. Had chicken over waffles with bourbon syrup which was very good.

This is the spot to go if you don't like crowds. I mean, it's so hidden that there's hardly anyone there. We had to find an employee to check us in and seat us. There were some minutes when we were the only people in the dining room. The decor of the space was elegant if not a bit old. The furniture was sturdy and high quality. Our server was attentive and appropriately friendly. The food and cocktail were exceptionally good. We enjoyed a Hibiscus Martini, Bourbon Chicken & Waffles, and a curry chicken Jibarito. Wowza! We loved all of that and highly recommend those things.

Not as good as the first time
We came again specifically for the Bourbon Chicken & Waffles, but we swear that it was different. It was breast meat instead of thighs and it was missing the scrumptious bourbon glaze. Oh well. It was still good but we would have preferred it the way we had it the first time. We also got the Lobster Roll. I liked it a lot but my guest did not. They are doing construction on their bar area now so the bar (and tv) are moved into the main dining area.

Hidden spot in Chicago
This is a great roof-top bar and resturant hidden away to most. The food was great, a little pricey, but a great outdoor experience for hotel resturant/bar. Next time we are in Chicago we'll make a stop at the Conrad, even if it is only for drinks.

Rooftop outdoor dining
If you are looking for a place to just relax outside and have drinks this is a nice spot to begin.

Amazing food. Best shimp and
Amazing food. Best shimp and grits I've had ever. Waiter was also very attentive. Views from the rooftop get better at night as the city lights come up.
Not to crowded. Good for a girls night pre-drink.

I really liked the atmosphere for hanging with a large group of friends. Not too loud where you can talk to people without having to yell. But yet there was great background music. The service was a bit slow for drinks, so many people in my group when to the bar instead. But overall, I enjoyed it.

Good place for outta town-ers
Let alone that its a hotel, it's a generally good outdoor space. Not much of a view (it's no trump) but you still have a great space outside. Not too crowded with tables, you can really enjoy your parties company. The food is good (southern comfort) and the drinks are special. Great little spot to take your guests for a night out.

I wasnt too happy when we walked in bc the place looked so plain. LAter in the night, they finally put some lights on and lit some candles, which gave this place some beauty. The food was amazing! The gilt coupon I bought included up to a $50 wine and I was disappointed when the waiter brought us "cupcake" wine that is sold for $12 at Target. He rarely came to check on us and got our order wrong and also threw away the food we had meant to take home. Other than these mistakes, the food was AMAZING and I had a great time with friends.

The terrace was such a nice and reasonable rooftop dining experience. The reservation was free and had a very laid back atmosphere. The food was amazing even though the menu was limited. Great bar to boot and the view, while limited to the upper halves of the surrounding buildings, was great and left you feeling as if you were up much higher than you actually were.

It was great to sit in a quiet place and enjoy the breezy, cool Chicago night.

The occasion was my husbands birthday, and for a group of seven that arrived late, we were seated immediately. At first our server seemed a little overwhelmed but then apologized for the 15 minute wait for our cocktails. Although he did explain they were understaffed that evening. After ordering dinner, the server was very attentive and pleasant. The food was great and we really enjoyed the rooftop on such a beautiful night. I would definitely recommend the Terrace Restaurant.

Great summer evening
Great place for drinks or a meal. Outstanding service from Abel.

This is a little known gem. It an open-air, tucked away place for those who love eating or drinking outdoors. It's a calm oasis just off of bustling Michigan Avenue. The menu as of August is unusual (mainly Southern items) but quite good. Diners also can order typical food off the room service menu. The location is great. The views are pleasant - not spectacular. For my most recent visit, our waitress was cordial, helpful and efficient.

Everything was nice and the group of individuals that were with me would agree also. The only negative to the experience was price for the meals and the amount served. One would have thought that there would be more food on the plates and the same would apply for the drinks as well. But overall the experience was good and I plan to visit again in the future.

Terrace at Conrad Great
Outstanding service, tasty food, and gorgeous view of downtown Chicago. I enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend The Terrace at Conrad to others.

Great open terrace, warm,
Great open terrace, warm, clear night makes a perfect evening.
Friendly wait staff.
I liked that it wasn't a mob scene, low key, casual, and relaxing.
You don't have to fight for a spot like at the "Witt" or "Trump" rooftops.
Some hits and misses on the food, barbecue shrimp and grits, a "10"
Crab cakes and chicken and waffles, not so much.
Crab soup also noteworhty.
All in all with a great view and pretty good food, it's definitley worth the trip

Great Experience for group dining
The Terrace has a beautiful view that accompanies the great food. I had the lobster rolls and they were fabulous. My group of 12 loved the drinks and the great view of Trump Tower.

Very Good... not great
Seafood done well, attentive service, and high- energy ambience, but nothing we experienced separates it from the many fine fish houses in Chicago's near North neighborhood - though it will not disappoint.
